   Dir en Grey is funny
Listening to: The Brilliant Green "Tsumetai Hana" (another cool Japanese band w/ a female frontwoman)

Last night and tonight, I showed Eric some funny Dir en Grey interviews I came across. They always make fun of one another, even Shinya the quiet one. He said that he'd be the only of the group to survive getting stranded in the snow b/c Kyo would fall asleep; Die would be so loud that he'd cause an avalanche; Kaoru would think a lot, walk around, and get lost; and Toshiya would just not be strong enough. Toshiya had a similar theory about if they were stranded w/ only a chocolate bar: Kyo would think, get mad, and eat it bit by bit; Die wouldn't think and eat it all up; Kaoru would calculate how much he needed but go insane after a few days; and Shinya would survive b/c he'd make precise calculations and save every little bit. LOL! Eric said that I'd act like Kaoru b/c I think way too much (to the point of going crazy). Then I said that he'd be like Die b/c he's loud, impulsive, and the goofy one. We also saw some cute anime drawings done by Kaoru and Toshiya. It was funny seeing how they portrayed their bandmates.

This got us to talking about our "role" in a hypothetical J-rock band. Eric would definitely be the one who pretends to be scary and serious on stage but is really a prankster. I'd be the flirty one who is quiet offstage. We also talked about which Diru guy is suited for me (since there were all those quizzes online). Eric thinks Kaoru and I are a perfect match b/c we put on a serious front, think too much, and are indecisive about what to do (Kaoru admitted to not going on real dates b/c he never knows where to take the girl). I said that it wouldn't be a good thing if we were both indecisive b/c nothing would ever happen. Kyo would be too crazy and stubborn. Eric said that Die wouldn't work b/c it'd be like having another brother (who drinks too much); we'd just tease each other all day. Toshiya, though he's my big crush right now, might be too sexual (Eric said that he couldn't believe I said that since I am kind of hentai); plus he's very emotional and I'm not. We concluded that Shinya would suit me best b/c he's quiet, likes books, and hates smoking (the only one in the band that does). At first, I thought I would be too crazy, but you can't underestimate Shinya. He is the drummer in a J-rock band after all. I'm okay w/ having a prettier boyfriend b/c I've got some gender role reversal issues and you gotta think of the children. ;) I wonder what other people would say... (Eric would be okay as long as he doesn't do the Audrey Hepburn look.)
