Listening to: Malice Mizer "Beast of Blood"Finally the musical guest has been revealed! After keeping my eyes glued on the Kamikaze Con website last night, it turned out that they were having some technical difficulties. I figured it would be her...Kumi Koda!!!
Today I decided to wear the new clothes that I got over the break, including the boots w/ 3 or 4 inch heels (I gotta get used to them before March). Parker loved my vinyl jacket, which Rob described as "very shiny." Looking at myself, I'm pretty much wearing my Toshiya costume, minus the "Bass" shirt. It doesn't seem much clothing-wise, but I think once I get the make-up and hair done, I'll be totally Totchi. ^_^
Anyway, physics was like usual. Math was an improvement from last semester. Our prof isn't foreign, and he looks really young. He seemed a bit unsure of himself, but he's very adorable. Reminds me of my math and science boys all grown up. My English seminar class will be interesting. It's centered on American gothic lit (hooray for Poe!), and I'm the only Bakerite. I might be the only English-science double major. The prof is cool; she let us out really early. We're reading Absalom, Absalom! by William Faulkner at the end of the semester. I was a bit scared since the prof said that it was a tough novel (and from past experiences w/ Faulkner), but then I decided that Intruder in the Dust wasn't so bad. I think in stream-of-consciousness anyway.
The BakerShake Coffeehouse night was fun. The seniors (and Phil) were a bit shocked by my vinyl jacket. Joe and Phil felt compelled to touch it b/c "it's so shiny" according to Joe (who just couldn't keep his hands off of it ^^;;). Anyway, we read Taming of the Shrew and switched parts so everyone got multiple roles. It's much better when you read Shakespeare out loud w/ a bunch of people. It's also a lot of fun to insult each other in a Shakespearean manner while people pass by (Jared and Joe were doing that.)
