1st half of my spring break
Listening to: silence
Sometimes I forget what it sounds like. It's good to be reminded of what it's like to be in utter silence (even though this is technically not it w/ the humming of the computer). After all, I need it to be absolutely quiet to sleep (doesn't happen much in the dorms). However, silence can be bad b/c you start hearing your own thoughts and that is a frightening experience.

Okay, enough of my philosophical rant. My spring break is half over, and here's what I have left to do:
read physics, type 2 papers, read "Importance of Being Earnest" (this is the 2nd time, but I love Oscar Wilde so I don't mind), type transition metal lab, start NMR lab, do math project, list prop items for BakerShake, make cosplay gun rig, and find someone who will pick me and Elizabeth up from the airport (so far my connections are not working).

Anyway, my parents finally found about my cosplay plans, or one of them. I'm suprised my mom didn't say anything about the Lara Croft Angel of Darkness picture she saw, but maybe she's glad that I'm finally going as a woman (a kickass one at that). She also said that it's a shame Eric can't come along b/c we could quickly come up w/ a Kurtis Trent costume for him. My dad thought that Lara and Kurtis looked like "bad guys," but considering what I expected their reactions to be, I'm pretty stoked.
