Everything Lost
The sun staring down at me brightly,
brings warmth no longer to my life.
Only darkness clouds my eyes,
as i stare blankly at the sky.
the once pink glow that flushed my cheeks,
has disappeared and left me pale.
All happiness has been replaced with despair.
Any joy that was deep in my soul,
is now shrouded by sadness.
every sound around me, once lively and loud,
brings me now to my knees,
with tears running down my face.
A chartered feeling has worn out its use,
leaving an empty spot where his heart once lie.
Gaps in my heart for air to swim through,
wide as the oceans waves battling the shore.
"come back to me" i screamed into the wind,
my heart breaking with each word.
Until we meet again, everything is lost.
