   I just did something I have never done before.
Well as the title says, I entered something I have absolutely never done in my life. I entered a poetry contest for non professional poets. so gonna try my luck and see if my writing is as good as everyone says it is. ^^``
Hopefully that works out well.... *smiles extremely nervously* Otheriwse gotta say this weekend was pretty interesting. on Friday took my car to the mechanic again, went out to dinner, then went to walmart where I got 4 cds, and a game.
Saturday I got my car back 200 dollars later, then went to the mall with my mom and took advatage of the horror sale suncoast was having.
Then tonight had a pretty calm day, closed the pool. but what just happened not even 20 minutes ago was the worst thing. on the street behind mine a house was engulfed in flames. and writing this literally just after I came back from the street. the house is burnt to the ground, but sounds like everyone got out ok, except they couldn't find their dog or 2 cats. hope they find them and everyone is alright. what a note to end a weekend on.

   I'm tired......
Such a busy week and weekend. Do have good news though.^^ My car was fixed and it was nothing major, buuuut my engine light is back on so gonna have to get that checked again. I just love my car. I will be putting new art up on my Deviant account soon, but as of right now I have 30 pieces so if you would like to check it out feel free! my name on there again is silverwingedangel07.
Well then on sunday I spent the day with my bf which was fun as usual.^^ Gotta love someone who can take your mind off of anything.
As for anything else dun really have anything to say right now is if by chance there is a zombie infestation follow these procedures!!!

   Today..
Well I'll start off with my assignment today. We had critics of our corrections to wiki's and gotta say one thing I learned was that wikipedia is very very picky in the types of articles they accept. But in all seriousness I found out that there is a 3d tv that's gonna be started. but there are many many new things that are being brought out in the future.

As of for my normal post I dun really have anything to say right now I'll update later with all that is going on cause I'm hoping that my car will make it home. (engine light has been on for the past few days.) well I'll say sayonara for now.

   I'm as confused as you are....
Ok today was eh when it came to anything interesting just the usual really when it came to the actual day. I did update my deviant art if anyone wishes to visit it.
As for my last posts I got a few pms that you guys were seriously confused about those and I will say I be sorry. this blog/journal is my personal space, but also a site I use for my media class, so if you see posts like that feel free to read them and give a comment, with questions or opinions. always welcome to both.^^

and speaking of that I have one other thing that I must discuss. most of you likely know what an emotion sensor is. (If not it's the use of some type of technology that senses a human emotion and reacts to it, or will express through color or sound the emotion that person is feeling) I contributed to 2 different blogs being the affective computing and new media pages. if anything I do recommend if you have anything you want to contribute to a Wiki (wikipedia.org or the like) feel free the site is free and has some good information when you need it.

and for right now that be it. will try to get back to some normal posts this weekend. be good everyone.^^

   last case study
This case study was called "Our Intranet, the Wiki: Case Study of a Wiki changing an Enterprise", and personally out of all studies this was one of the best ideas that they could have come up with in this company. Having the use of an intranet and wiki system so that employees could actually have sections assigned to designated departments so that the main core of the company can monitor progress, but the other departments can still stay organized within their own research and postings. The creativness of the idea is well met with the network idea, but actually having the means to carry it out of the conceptual stage of being discussed to incorrporating the technology that is available to the general person every day. This also emlimintaes the need for this company to have to have major meetings to discuss the progress of each department, they just have to check the wiki and will see where they are.

   2nd case study
The second case study I read on Wiki's was the KARIM R. LAKHANI,ANDREW P. MCAFEE study. The basic idea of the studay itself was to explain where wiki's themself came from and progressed over the years, but there is another side to these wikis in that they used to be written only by people that were qualified in the fields for the acrticles they wrote and if they weren't someone else was found and they would then be assigned to the the article. If anything though this idea is good in that the articles were accurate but sometimes too difficult for the average reader to understand, maybe just to satisfy some curiosity for a subject. Even the talk of how a delete option is possibly being added would likely not be a good idea. as for having the rules on wikipedia it does make alot of sense mainly because otherwise some arrogant person would change an article completely or post an idea that was really innappropriate or not a true subject.

   Have tons of stuff to say today.
This post maybe alittle random and possibly out of the oridinary but I'm doing case studies in my one class on Wiki's and (needed to) post some reactions about the studies. there are 3 that I am going to mention in this post, and will be seperated among 3 different posts.

The first case study I'm going to mention is the Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein wiki case study. In his report he had stated that wiki's and social texts were used in many aspects to either inform or to communicate with other people in a way to collaberate ideas in a set place. which I do agree with that they do, help in main subjects and even some not so well known ideas. The way that a wiki could work even is to create a social network that could be used to send presentations, reports, research, information, and studies to others within the network (company, group, etc.). And his idea of creating the socialtext network nicknamed the DrKWikipedia is a new and very useful way of approaching wiki's in a new media frame of mind. Personally I do truely agree that wikis will be a frontal point to contacting and gathering information for other people and be able to still contribiute to anything that needs to be said or corrected.

   Sunday... last day of the weekend yet still the day to be lazy
Nuthin much going on this weekend. Friday spent the day with my BF, which was quite fun as usual.^^ and was working on my model, working in photoshop, and a bunch of other things.

As for the novel I will start posting it part by part I will try not to make eacj part too long so that short attention spans will not be put to their limit.^^ I do have some other news, I got a deviant art account too so i can display my poetry and other art so if you would like to visit me feel free, the name on there is silverwingedangel07.

I do have some sad news too, many of my teachers that I've had in the past especially in elementry through high school I've known very well and sadly I found out last night that my 3rd grade teacher (who helped me through some hard times) was just diagnosed with stage 4 cancer in her sinuses and around the back of her eyes. So just hoping that there is something they can do to at least help her to live out what time she has.

sorry to end on such a sad note. but it's something that kinda just fell on my shoulders and was bothering me kinda..
alright well I will end this post for now, and give you guys the first part of this story, so that you can have a taste of it.

She looked up at the picture on her wall in her apartment, tears steaming down her face. Akio listened to her neighbors fighting again. It calmed her down a little hearing them rant, but she burst into tears again soon after remembering him.
Her boyfriend had admitted that he was cheating on her and said he didn’t love her, that he was using her to get another girl. Listening to her neighbors slam doors next door, she turned on her side on the bed and hugged her pillow. Akio knew that she should call someone or talk to someone at least. She finally decided to head over to the restaurant 3 blocks from her apartment where a friend worked. Quickly she threw on a pair of dark jeans and a grey tank top with a black semi jacket, and then slipped on her pleather blazer. After making herself presentable she slipped on her boots then happened to look up at the mirror and saw her face.
“I can’t go out looking like this”
Black lines had trailed down her cheeks along with the silver glimmer of her eyeliner. Carefully she cleaned up her face from her crying and went over to the door. Slowly she stepped into the hallway jumping when she heard a thud against the door behind her from something hitting the wall next door, and went to the elevator. She stepped inside alone trying not to listen to the pathetic tune coming from the speaker. Walking to the lobby she left the apartment complex and wrapped her coat tighter around her against the cold. She looked around a moment at the amount of people still walking around at that time of night and walked down the street. Slowly she turned the corner towards the restaurant; the streets were busy for being so late at night, which made it kind of difficult when it came to traveling by car or foot.
“This is definitely the city that never sleeps.”
Cars slowly moved by and every so often a car horn sounded, but Aiko didn’t really hear it. Her mind wandered as she walked towards the diner. Mostly they were thoughts of why he would drop her like that or how the hell she was so stupid to actually go out with a guy like him.
In a few minutes she stepped into the diner and took a seat at a table she normally sat at.
“Well, hey there sweetness!” She heard a man’s voice and ignored it until she felt a hand on her shoulder.

   Tis early morning.
heh yea more like 12am.^^` yea still up but dun have classes tomorrow so all good. not much went on today except classes and normal antics. heh uuuhhh as for later today I get to hang with my honey. and most likely work on the other stuffs I have to get done this weekend.

   Allo Allo!!!!!
Well for today not much had happened except my normal classes, and hung out with a guy friend of mine. But overall nuthing really new. My classes today were as usual, interesting but kinda long. Anyone else sometimes feel like the nights that you need for work go to fast?? Cause if anything, it seems like I start my assignments then before I know it the time is 2am and I have to wake up by 7:20am latest. Very good life..^^` aaahh well.

Ok I lie I do have new news.^^ I have a novel that I have been working on and was wondering if people would like to read it. I have 2 actually, a Diablo Fanfic that I am just starting as well an original novel that I've been writing for over a year. Yea Metal Dragon you know the one I'm talking about. I would like to know if you guys would like me to post one of them so that I can get some critics. I've also decided to post some of my sketch work, as well as my work that I've done in my art classes. I'm also thinking of posting some of my animation videos as I get things busted out, but will see what happens cause I'm not sure if they will work on youtube. but will try.^^

Personal life, nuthing really new. My honey be sick so he's not doing so well and the rainy weather today doesn't help much. But hopefully he'll get better soon. Also if there is anyone that does any artwork, or writing and would like an opinion for feel free to message me and will be sure to take a look aspa!^^

uuuuhhh other than that I will leave you guys with an image I did for my dad's 9/11 memorial today.
