"Hey, wait up you guys! You're taller than me!" I hear behind me as I realize we've left Yugi. Poor Yugi. Always the caboose.
"Hey, bud! Why can't you get talleh, eh?" I say, pushing him hard enough to make him lose his balance, but not fall.
"Don't push me! And maybe I like being ythis height, EH!" He says, making fun of my accent for me making fun of his height.
"Hey, don't start fighting, boys."Tea butts in. I notice Tristan has stayed quiet the whole time.
"Yo, Tris, wha's wrong witchya, eh?"
He only shakes his head. Sometimes I worry about him, especially now. He hasn't said a word for, I don't know, 2 hours. Not like him, he usually talks at some point.
"Deh is som'in wrong, I know it. Don't try to deny me, man. We've been pals sice I can remembeh." Okay, so we just met 2 years ago. I'm trying to convince him to tell me what is wrong.
"Can I talk to you? I mean, not without them, but I don't want them, well, with us." He seemed unsure of himself.
"Okay." He took me by the hand and led me to the boys bathroom. Not like him, not like him at all.
