Finally, some results!!

Well I was at Pojo's today and they posted the Top 8 decks from the World Championship, and I was hoping to see some originality like last time, but unfortunately the originality went down the crapper because of the Chaos Monsters. Seriously all 8 decks had the Soldier and the Dragon. I honestly am hoping that the next Japanese Ban list has the damn CED on the ban list simply because he is the cheapest of the three Chaos Monsters. I mean, oh look, I remove one Light and one Dark for a big fucking Nuclear Warhead.... -__-;;; Now I'm sure some of you people think I'm whining because I've probably lost to CED a lot of times, but that's not true. I'm complaining because the Chaos monsters have done nothing but quash all originality in this game, hence forth making it rather stale. That's why I'm wanting the new ban list in Japan to include all three monsters on it, simply so that different decks will be able to have a fighting chance. I mean there are other decks that people are capable of making, but Chaos decks just whip everything and really its just getting annoying. I've been Anti-Chaos for awhile because I saw how cheap they are (after using my soldier a couple of times.) So I was glad when AST came out, that meant I could nab my best friend in the whole wide world, Archlord Zerato. I like that even though it requires a three card combo, but its really not that hard to pull off, and I would like to see other decks put Chaos decks to shame, but that's the problem. The chaos monsters are simply overpowered and tend to crush almost anything in their path, so that kind of is aggravating, so that's why I would like to see the Chaos Emperor Dragon and the Soldier banned, simply because they just seem to murder all competition, and all originality. If you don't believe me about the top 8 finalists decks, go to pojos and look, you'll see that they all used practically the same decks.

Silly rabbit, tricks are for kids!

Jeez, I look at UDE's YGO web page and they announced that they will in fact release the ban list in America in October of this year, though I was slightly misled with one of their comments, and still am amazed at how great they can bullshit someone with lying. But personally I think a few other cards should have been banned as well, one of them being Chaos Emperor Dragon and Black Luster Soldier-Envoy of the Begining, but that's just my opinion. This leads me into something that just happened a little bit ago. I was on AIM chatting with another YGO player, and I mentioned that I personally thought CED should have been banned, well that just made him go into a fit and he said that banning CED is a crock of crap and there are plenty of ways to stop him blah blah blah blah. Long story short he said I "need support for my opinion." What part of the word OPINION do you not understand?? Here is a definition of the word Opinion. A belief or conclusion held with confidence but not substantiated by positive knowledge or proof: “The world is not run by thought, nor by imagination, but by opinion” (Elizabeth Drew). Now if you were in Debate or Forensics, you'd know that an opinion is just meh, that you need facts to prove your points. But an opinion is just a personal belief that YOU believe, and you do not need to support it, unless you're the mentioned person, and then he'll say you're and idiot.

Welcome, to my boredom said the spider to the fly.

Well, today was cool beans. I got four packs of Ancient Sanctuary and out of the four I pulled a Super Rare (Much better than my wonderful five packs and nothing but rares from IOC)Though it wasn't exactly the Super Rare I was wanting, but hell, who cares? It was a bloody damn super rare. But yeah, after that I went to the local game shop where I met up with a bunch of friends and we got down to playing the Rifts rpg, which I might add is very cool! The whole rpg is not just one book, but instead covers a variety of other countries, introduces mythology, supernatural, and the unexplained and you have the X files O_o;; No.. You have Rifts silly rabbit! *fwaps the silly rabbit* As a rundown of what our group consists of. Our DM is a 300 year old mage who is also a mutant whose ability is to manipulate metal, except now he has become metal and has huge wings on his back with runes on his arms, chest, forehead, and back. Another person was a mind melder, then became a master vampire, and now has become a Demon Lord, very dangerous, yet so kick ass. Then there's our cyborg samurai *shakes head* who depends on my char to speed his ass up and blah blah blah.. bleh. Then there's our ninja/mech pilot, god is he cool, I mean he was a regular ninja, but later on he gained the power to fuse with metal etc, he basically can repair his own mech, my char's ass, and the samurai.. Then there's Casper Boo (yes, that's his char name.) He has caused sooo much trouble *shakes head* its not funny. He got our asses in trouble in Psyscape, and he nearly got arrested for attacking a cleaning lady at our hotel in Tolkein >_< So yeah, he's not only a threat to enemies, but a threat to himself. Then there's me, I have a Cyborg dragon that has gotten his tail blown up and to go along with that, I got my char's mouth cannon to do sooo much more damage that if I rolled a 1, uh yeah, lets just say its a good thing the DM decided to have the fizzle buffer. Then there's a battle mage...tch tch tch. He's got a good charcter, just he asks too many questions. And last but never least, there's our Seraphim angel who is actually a god in disuguise and she is played by a guy, but oh well. All in all I really love playing Rifts, its my first non computer rpg and I really am having a ball, I just wish I could go more often and be able to participate more. On another note, I have decided that it is time for the final note to be sung in my Singers rpg since it has broiled down to being, Eli, StrikeGundam, and me all posting, and I have grown rather agitated with that. So I have decided to start a Shaman King rpg and I hope that I can get some very good people in this rpg. W For now, that's it.

Yet Boredom finds me here sleeping.

Today has been, well a Tuesday. I killed a wasp today *silly victory* I just absolutely loathe wasps since they can sting you multiple times and don't die! Well thankfully the little buzzard was in our curtains and I stunned him enough for him to land on the floor which I proceed to smack him down with the fly swatter and I also introduced him to my foot!! Anyways, I'm working on a Shaman King rpg.. hehehe its very good if I do say so myself. Basically its going to be a biased ending for the series *cause I said so dammit!* and it will introduce a lot of new characters etc. Speaking of rpgs, today I have looked at two rpgs that simply have turned my stomach and in lament turns, I just lost my damn appetite. The sign ups were poor, one of them only had four people sign up for the rpg!! *falls over* But yeah then I read that rpg, I have never seen such a poorly written piece of work. I mean yes I used to be and can still be a bad poster at times, but then I try to edit it as much as I can. But yes, my Singers rpg is doing pretty well, though I may be killing off Undefeated seeing as how he has not posted one single time. That's something new I'll be introducing to my Shaman King rpg. If you don't post even once without good explination, I'm offically kicking that person out post haste. But anyways, onto better subjects, I'll be going to get my Learner's permit on Thursday, and I should be able to get my license maybe by the end of the month, seeing as how we go to town a lot and that's a 30 mile drive both ways. ^__^ So yeah, look out road! I have printed out a spoiler list of AST and I'm kinda pissed that some cards got rarities jacked up etc. its just sooo annoying. Well, I really can't think of much else to type so all I can say is this. NEVER TRUST MOSQUITOS, THEY LIE!!

Well, this would be the second day of waiting to see if Eli is all right and returning to OB. I just hope that she'll be all right. Right now though, I seem to be caught between a boulder and a wall of spikes. I mean that in the sense that I'm practically bored out of my skull and yet I'm glad its summer, so which do I feel most like?? Tomorrow is Memorial Day and we honor our war vetrans, but I also think we should honor the people over in Iraq. Oh well, I guess I'm getting a little too emtional here. Last night's chat was an experience in the sense that a member who I will not mention went totally beserk on us, all because we wanted someone to talk to and she was good friend. That was a mistake, not only did she prove us wrong, she showed just how selfish she could be. I was utterly disappointed by her actions espeically when Strike and I have given up time just to listen to her gripe, but yet we ask her to listen to us and she goes totally nutzola and starts screaming about how she doesn't care etc., tch. Maybe some people just don't deserve friends flat out. But yeah, anyways. I got third place at the local Hastings YGO leauge. Big woo, wish I could have gotten second, the guy I went against, I really didn't want to because I would have preferred to face off against him in the finals. The guy that got second I wish I had gone against because I found out he was using a new deck and it wasn't working for him quite that well, though I really can't talk because my deck was really pushing my limits. Anyways, I really may make another deck and keep the one I'm using now. I have no clue. I read James' MyO and I'm wondering what kind of changes they might be making to the Adventure Arena since that is my big haunt and I'm there most of the time. Anyways, I'm kind of disappointed with the new JP set of YGO cards.. Talk about not being able to keep originality.. OMG is this set just lame, I mean yes there are a few cards like this Ninja Master-Sasuke Light/Warrior/4/1800/1000 If this card attacks a Monster in Face-Up defense mode, don't go to the Damage Calculation and destroy that monster. I can say ouchies! This to me is awesome because it introduces another Ninja that is on a higher par than Strike Ninja, I mean granted SN is on a level of his own, but this card simply owns him all over. Another card that I like is this. Dark Mega Flare Normal Magic Choose 1 Face-Up [Red Eyes Black Dragon] on your side of the Field and activate. Do damage to your opponent equal to the base attack strength of the chosen REBD. During the turn that this card is activated, REBD cannot attack. Well, Kaiba had his White Lighting in 308, and Yugi has his Black Magic Attack in 309. Which both are coming out in this next week I do believe. So now its Joey's turn. Now here's something that isn't original. Ectoplasm Permanent Magic Each player can, once during his or her turn's End Phase sacrafice 1 face-up monster on his or her field, and do damage to his or her opponent equal to half of that Monster's base attack strength. Okay that's too much like the TV show card and its just dumb... I mean get real, how cheesy is that!? Unless you really feel like doing that to your cards I know people won't use it. Here's one that supports Ninjas. Ninja Technique, Art Of The Cicada Permanent Trap Choose 1 monster on your field with Ninja in its name and activate. While this card is on the field, the chosen monster can't be destroyed as a result of battle. (Damage is still calculated.) Okay, that is just sweetness! How do I start today's post?? Well, last night/early this morning was horrible. Eli, a girl who is in my Singers rpg and a friend of mine was brutally attacked by her ex-boyfriend and had her life endangered. I was so angered by the horrible things that he did that I would like to do things to that bastard that are forty times worse than him. I mean how could someone be so cruel to someone like Eli!? She's kind and nice, but she's a spitfire and hence the nickname Chun Li I've given her. I honestly hope that she gets better soon. So Eli, I hope you get better soon cause me and Strike miss ya!

As I sit here quietly listening to Zanarkand from my FF X soundtrack I wonder. What is peace? Is it something that we use as an excuse to snap at someone who is being rather loud, or is it something that we find when we are truly able to understand ourselves, or is it what our goverment tells us what we are fighting for over in Iraq and Afghanistan? To me, peace is something on your own that you find for yourself. The peace that our goverment and so many other goverments want is unattainable, if it were attainable the spilling of too much blood would be on all of their hands, yet they still want it. I know that peace is the best thing for everyone, but it will never be unified, human nature has already dictated that. Human nature is to kill or be killed in whatever kind of field, you could kill off any competition, look at Bill Gates for example; he massacred off all of his competition simply because he was ambtitous, but I wonder is he at peace with himself or does he want more?? That's the fickle thing about us humans, once we get something that we want, we need more. Its like an addiction to some drug, now most of you would say "I'm not addicted to anything." but yet you are subconcsiously addicted to getting more, I know I am. I mean there are people who are addicted to killing, they just can't get enough and its scary. The euphoria of the moment must really excite them. I just wish there was a turn off switch so that humans weren't so addicted.

Well, as you can see. I had a little too much fun with the quiz guru. Though I'm GOKU!! weee!! And of course I'm the all too cool Van Salanzar de Fanel, but I'm kind of surprised I got Duo for my GW char.. Maybe I'm not cold enough.. >__>;;; Oh well, can't win em' all ^_^ *sigh* Well, today is somewhat boring so meh. Made a new Dark Magician deck but yeah, it may get taken apart and re-built later on. For now that's all I can think of for a post.

Haha!! Tith summer so w00t!

Okay, its summer and I'm very very happy!! Though Saturday I had to play at Senior graduation, I'm in the band. But it wasn't all bad. Before that though, I'd gone to the local game shop to play Yu-Gi-Oh! With some friends, but problem was, no one was playing that. They were playing an rpg called Rifts, which is pretty interesting; so I decided that tomorrow I will create a character and then partake in the rpg as well. On another note, there was a card show yesterday and today. I managed to get an Exiled Force, Dark Necrofear from Duelist Legacy 3, Dark Magician Girl, and another Maruading Captain!! I am uber happy now, mainly cause I got DMG and I can finally work on a fun fun Dark Magic deck!! Hehehe. Anywho, I saw "The Last Samurai", omg is it splendid. At first I thought it would be boring and just dumb, but I was wrong. I was able to relate it to the time period of Ruroni Kenshin (had he been alive or even real) I take it that it was really the Meiji era or it was some other era. Anyways it was very very good so I definetly suggest a lot of you peeps pick the movie up and watch it! Other than that I just am excited about the new Zelda game that will come out, but what I am majorly excited about is Devil May Cry 3!! Now I know a lot of you have played both of the games now and you really really hated the sequel, well let me explain why I dislike it. The main reason is the fact that the original crew that did DMC was not doing DMC2 it was some new crew that had no idea as to what the hell they were doing and they were supposedly "in contact with the original crew for ideas etc." My ass, that's just a bullshit story, had the DMC2 crew been in contact with the orginal crew they would have had serious character development and Dante wouldn't be silent almost all the time and Lucia would not have remained a hollow character. In my opinion I think the DMC2 crew were a bunch of idiots who disgraced the name. Also, the controls were to player friendly, the first DMC you had to work to pull of some of the more kick ass combos etc. The final thing being the fact that EVERY SINGLE DIFFICULTY SETTING WAS EASY AS HELL!! Plus the bosses were just pitiful, all you did was just stand there and shoot, now how horrible is that?? In all honesty I am glad that the original crew has come back and is at the helm of DMC3 I honestly think that DMC3 will be just as good as the first one, if not better because its a prequel and we will learn more about Dante's past.
