9/11: A tribute to those lost.
Hi everyone.

This is a very special post im going to make in my Myotaku. This post is going to be about where i was and how i felt before, during, and after the attack.

Well, i was in school when it happened. It started as a normal day. I think i was in the second class of the day. The pricipal came on the intercom and said that there was something on the news. Then he said something has happened in NYC. A few minutes later the pricipal came on and said 2 planes have chashed into the WTC in NY. My teacher turned on the TV and we watched the news. It was so horrable. We didnt do any more work after the teachers turned on the TV. We just sat around and watched it. It was...amazing. Thats the only word that fits that day. Amazing and horrible. The New yorkers were amazing and the attacks and deaths were horrible. At the end of the day, i ran home to see more of the news coverage. I sat in a daze watching what was happening. It was the worse thing ive ever seen. I hope nothing like that ever happens again!

This poem is dedicated to the victims of September 11, 2001.

One

As the soot and dirt and ash rained down,
We became one color.
As we carried each other down the stairs of the burning building
We became one class.
As we lit candles of waiting and hope
We became one generation.
As the firefighters and police officers fought their way into the inferno
We became one gender.
As we fell to our knees in prayer for strength,
We became one faith.
As we whispered or shouted words of encouragement,
We spoke one language.
As we gave our blood in lines a mile long,
We became one body.
As we mourned together the great loss
We became one family.
As we cried tears of grief and loss
We became one soul.
As we retell with pride of the sacrifice of heros
We become one people.

We are
One color
One class
One generation
One gender
One faith
One language
One body
One family
One soul
One people

We are The Power of One.
We are United.
We are America.

Thats it. Talk to ya later.
