No school! Happy Veteran's Day!!
Hi everyone!
Well, i have no school today. And you know what that means....yep, complete boredom. I woke up at 10:00, which was nice. It feels good to sleep late every once in a while. For the past few hours, i've been playing Need for Speed Underground for my Gamecube. I'm getting pretty far in the game. I should be done with it soon, hopefully. And that is pretty much all im doing. Playing video games, watching Tv, and doing stuff on the internet. *sigh* I need a life.
Todays poem is dedicated to everyone who has fought for this country.
Here is todays poem:
IN MEMORY OF DEPARTED COMRADES
Do not stand at my grave and weep; I am not there. I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow;
I am the diamond glints on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain;
I am the gentle autumn's rain When you awaken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft star that shines at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry.
I am not there; I did not die in vain as long as my sacrifice is not forgotten.
