We came, we saw, we sang!
Hi everyone!!
Today was really fun. My chorus class went to three school to sing christmas songs. It was really cool. We went to a Kindergarden-grade 2 school, the middle school, and a grade 3-5 school. At the grade 3-5 school, they have a huge celebration every year. And this year was no different. All the teachers in that school were dressed up and were dancing, lol. It was a great show. Then we got up and rocked the house! Haha. It was alot of fun. We got back to school around noon. We didnt do anything for the rest of the day. Our teachers were nice enough to let us sit around and talk. Thats really all that happened today. Im just glad that this week is over. Christmas is only two days away!!

How a Poem Writes Me

I firmly grasp my plastic pen
And wave it through the dark'ning air,
As language bids me greet the night.
Then 'cross the page the poem scrawls
Onto evening's balmy wings. Then
Words herd me to their hidden lair
Beyond the realm of human sight;
And language (songs of love) now lulls.
Above the grinding, earthly ken
Images and feelings rare
Parade themselves in spritely might
To illuminate my soul's spare walls
