Light

I long for your radiance,
O angel of mine
I long to bask in your glowing love

The darkness is gripping me.
The walls are caving in.
The roof is made of solid, unbreakable steel
The sky appears to have a limit.

No.
I will not allow such a barrier.
I will destroy the wall between us.
I will find a way.
I am dead without you.

This day I fight.
This day I will hold you.
This day I will kiss you.
This day I will be in your warm embrace.

Because if I don't, I will fall.
Because if I don't, I will cry.
Because if I don't, my life has lost the meaning it only recently found.

I long for your brilliant light.
The darkness hurts my eyes
and it hurts my soul.
I need you.
