Straight From Gavie Jones' Locker! |
I apoligize for not posting for ages. I've been busy, lazy, or just plain don't even bother visiting myOtaku. It's not like that many people read this anyways, so I figured I wasn't disappointing anyone really by not posting :P
There, now that the retarded comic is out of the way, let's get down to business... shoot, I'm not sure what business I have.
The Roleplayers is still up and running. If you'd like to sign up, feel free to do so. I'm happy to get anyone :)
The Roleplayers Thread!
I've been accepted into the Graphics Club, but Retribution still has to add me officially. But yay, I'm a graphicteer now. Though I'll be eligable for Graphic Battles, I doubt I'll win themk, especially if someone superior like Hack Helba or Rising Sun challenge me. But it seems like a fun thing to be a part of and hopefully it helps get me some critiques on my work.
When I return from vacation on the 19th, I plan on trying to start my new RPG idea (or coming close). If you've seen Big Fish, it's an idea based off that. It shall be about a man leaving home for his first time to make a name for himself in the world only to find the world outside his house is a lot different than his old family farm. In fact, it's downright unusual.
It'll take place in modern times instead of 1910 or so like Big Fish was. A name hasn't sprung to mind yet, but it'll come, I'm sure. Everyone in the RPG will be controlling the same character, the man, and will contribute to adding new adventures to his journey. The stories may be really farfetched and uncanny since that's the idea of the RPG. He may run into a monster, learn to fly, whatever. It'll be fun, I'm sure, but I need to develop the idea a lot more.
I'm not sure there's really anything left to say. Until next time then...
Cheers!

Yo Ho, Yo Ho, A Gavin's Life For Me! |
Hello again, everyone. I’ll start off with Yesiree Bob as usual:
Wasn’t that a bit of retarded? XD
Anyways, I’ve been a busy graphic maker. I opened a graphics thread for me on OtakuBoards for people to scamper around and see my latest work.
CLICK HERE FOR THE THREAD The first image is one I have actually submitted here on myOtaku. See it in my Fanart section. The rest of the images are special banners I have made for the movie Corpse Bride. Excited? Yes, I am! This movie is brilliant and I couldn’t help myself, but make several banners with images I find. Feel free to use these banners in your OtakuBoards signatures, but just give me credit for creation please.
While on the subject of art, I have submitted four pieces of myOtaku as of last night. They’re all up thanks to the speedy work of the administrators here (you guys rock), so if you’d like, you can check them out. I have submitted…
The Rifleman He’s from Warcraft 3 I think, but since I don’t play the games, I don’t know. Oh well. This is… my best piece of art, I think. That or it’s my favorite. It took a long time and it’s just so detailed. I love it! But enough gloating…
I’m With Sexy If you know me, you know I joke about having a HUGE ego. Well, this picture was drawn a few years back making fun of this. That’s supposed to be me (if I had black hair, that is). I have a glass thing over my eye :^D
Inventor Goes West This is the image in my graphics thread I was talking about. Inspired by Tim Burton’s work (of course), it doesn’t have much of a real meaning. What I got from it when I finished (because I had no clue what I was drawing when I made it) was that he’s an inventor traveling the world in search of something new to invent. Inspiration, perhaps? Or maybe items to invent something to save his village. Who knows! I like it, though.
Sly the Morrgoblin A decently old picture I drew for an RPG or story. I don’t recall where he’s from. But I liked the shading (it’s my own unique shading style, so I enjoy it, okay?!) so I posted it.
See all of these pictures in my fanart section. Click the link at the bottom of this page.
Since someone wanted it, I will post Mat Goes To The Zoo when it’s done. I’m just about finished and I will probably post it tomorrow here. So watch for it. I just warn you, it has profanity in it and it’s a tad retarded. But what bit of my work isn’t stupid? :P
I may start on my old story idea called The Fletcher and the Witch It was about a fletcher (old term for bow maker, archer) who just delivered a custom-made bow to a count when on his way back home he gets lost in the woods owned by a witch. She punishes him for trespassing by cursing him. When he wakes, he’s back home in bed, but the curse is real. He finds he has been hexed with bad luck and now whatever he does, things might go wrong. His life has become a living jinx and he must be careful what he does. Nevertheless, cautious as he must be, he’s going back out from his village to find the witch, have her lift the curse, and get revenge. It’s going to be an eerie tale and if you’ve read my previous work called Wickersleeves, you’ll understand how odd this might get. Please do post your opinion on the idea. I just might do it. It’d be a short story.
Hey, wanna link up? Posting links to each other’s myOtaku sites in your introduction section will help get traffic for the both of us. So if you want to affiliate with me, just PM me, IM me on an instant messenger, PM me on OtakuBoards, whatever. I’ll be more than happy to put you in my introduction section as long as you do the same for me.
I believe that’s all for today. I promise tomorrow’s post will be more interesting. Nothing really happening today, so I can’t say much. Until then…
Cheers!

Sorry, everyone, about not posting Saturday. I was busy. But it’s not like a whole lot of people read this, so I’m not really disappointing anyone, right? I was at the fair yesterday and it was fun fun! I did quite a bit from having myself be squished by large people to chatting with some lesbians to eating a really yummy rib sandwich. Yay :^D
But enough about that. Here’s your daily dose of the world’s most boring comic strip, Yesiree Bob:
Man, that was retarded. But anyways, I’m busy working on animations, as usual. Right now I’m doing one for my sister and her boyfriend and it’s full of inside jokes. Apparently my sister’s boyfriend, Mat, was acting rather stupid when they went to the zoo. So this episode of Mat is promptly named “Mat Goes To The Zoo.” I animated it poorly to give it a more humorous effect as well. Because it’s full of inside jokes, you may not find it as hilarious as we do, but if you guys want, comment on this post and say if you want me to post it. It doesn’t really matter to me.
Screenshot from Mat Goes To The Zoo
Well, I can’t contain myself any longer! I saw Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and I thought it was brilliant. Tim Burton certainly outdid himself this time. It’s not my favorite film by him, but it’s definitely ranking second or so. I just love it! And I await Corpse Bride with open arms. I’ve wanted to see that movie for two years now (when information of it was first released). But don’t let me stop you. You can read my Charlie movie review (spoiler-free, mind you) at my thread on OB:
CLICK FOR MY WONKA REVIEW
While on the topic of Tim Burton, I am, in fact, working on an animation and it is Burton-esque sorta. It’s about a scarecrow. Here’s some rough art of the style I’m using:
Not much information on it yet. But it should be pretty and artistic, if not just dark and weird. I’ll keep you all updated on that.
But, my God… my friend is being retarded. Somehow I’m set up for a blind date. Out of nowhere! My friend puts me on a blind date. I oughta sock ‘er. I don’t have time for it and have no reason for it. Now I must plot a scheme to get out of it. Good grief. Having said that, like my music change? Needed some more pirate melodies. I love Monkey Island and since it is a pirate game, it only makes sense to use its music for my pirate-themed site. Jam on!
The Roleplayers is officially up. Now you may sign up and ask questions in the thread or on here. I appreciate if you do register. Sign ups are open ‘til August 13th. I will close sign ups on the 13th and post later that day who out of everyone made it in. Only eight shall participate. Good luck!
CLICK HERE FOR THE ROLEPLAYERS THREAD
That’s all the news from me now. Remember to get people to come here :P I kid… or do I?
Cheers!

Hey again, folks. My second post with my new myOtaku. I’m trying to gather people to read in on the stuff I’m putting here, so if you can help me in any way to attract some traffic, I’d be very grateful. I’m planning a load of cool stuff to do here so it’s not just a boring read about my life and future/current/past projects. Like the following comic:
Yeah… I was bored. Heh… that crazy Yesiree Bob. Anyways, I’ve got other stuff planned too. If you recall in my last post, I said I will start a story for this site right here called Dragon Warrior’s myOtaku Adventures and man will it be crazy. But I’m also working intently on my projects for OtakuBoards from The Roleplayers to Palladin (if you’re new to my site, check my previous post to learn about The Roleplayers and Palladin).
Tonight I go to my singing recital for my college class and I have to sing before a large audience. Fun :^D I’m singing the song ”Gas Hed Goes West” by Live and no, it’s not a typo. The song name spells it as “hed.” I have no clue what a gas hed is, nor what the song is even about, but I completely suggest it to the lot of you. So download or buy the song “Gas Hed Goes West.” I meant now >:O
After I do that, my sister and I are going to see Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Me being a major Tim Burton fan, I’m surprised I’m seeing it so late. But I’m happy anyways. Expect a review for the film immediately after I see it. It’ll be posted in my movie review thread on OtakuBoards.
Upon looking at Solo Tremaine’s myOtaku, I saw he had one of those question chain letter things that ask you questions, you answer, and send it to everyone on God’s green goodness so people can read it and say “Cool, dawg!” Well, the questions usually are the same ones every time and they often suck. Soooo… what about a change, eh? Let’s see if I can answer my own list of really retarded questions.
Heh, heh… yeah, that’s right. Time for some really retarded questions. Feel free to answer them too and put them on your site, but just remember these are genuine Dragon Warrior sexy questions :D In other words, put my name so I get traffic here, damnit >: O I need visitors ;_;
On with the questions…
How many donkeys have you seen in your life? Oh, yeah, like I keep track. >:O
Are you a male? Yes.
If yes, then are you pregnant? Nope, I got an abortion :3
Can I see your naval? I don’t own the military >:O
Not Navy, jackweed. Naval! Your bellybutton! Oh. Yeah. Wait… no. You can’t see it.
Why not? Can we just get on with this? >:(
How come your myOtaku site sucks so much? I tried ;_;
How many planets have you been to? Five, but Jupiter smelt like silly putty so I didn’t go there. That would’ve been six :o
Wanna go on a date? Are you a hot chick?
Are you shallow? >:O Maybe >:(
You suck. That’s not a question!
How old are you? 18.
Liar. I am not >:O
There! You admitted it. You’re not 18. I don’t wanna do this anymore.
Okay, okay… fine. How many kids do you have? I’m 18.
I know. But how many kids? Uh… I’m 18. I don’t have kids.
You could have kids at 18, ass >:O News flash, I don’t >:O
Whatever. So, how many guys have you made out with? I’m not gay.
Sure thing, muffin. Were you the butch or the bitch? I’m not gay, damnit >:O
How many pets do you have? Finally, a natural question. I have… five.
Geez, took you long enough to answer. What, you mean the dots?
Yeah. The “…” just totally made you look slow-minded. You suck, question guy person >:O
Your girlfriend sucks well ;^D I know ;^D
Hahahahaha. Hahahaha.
Anyways, what kind of computer software do you have? Windows XP :^D
Not bad. Do you have a bad monitor? Gateway 2000. How’d you know it sucked?
It’s you. C’mon, you’re cheap, man. This is true.
What music do you like? Pretty much everything, but mostly rock.
So you’re a hippie fag? What the he… what are you talking about?
You went to Woodstock! Once again… I’m 18.
Don’t change the subject, fag. I am not a bundle of sticks >:O
I wanna punch you :^D Let’s end this thing now. It’s getting out of hand.
Whatever, sissy. I’ll be back. Yeah, right.
You’ll see. Meh.
Meh, indeed. No matter what… I always get the last word.
Damn. Yep.
As gay as that may have been, I was rather bored and it passed some time. Speaking of being bored, I’ve gotten into doing Flash now. Ye know, Flash the animating program. I’m not too shabby for a beginner, but that may be because I’ve already animated in the past and Flash is quite similar to Adobe Photoshop CS. :^D Yay.
My first animation on it was Ranger Jameson: Episode 1- Painforest and was about the world’s greatest forest ranger, Ranger Jameson, kicking some serious animal butt to save the rainforest. Of course, he was accompanied by his unidentifiable animal friend Gavin. Tee hee. Jameson is actually a real friend of mine and this animation is based off a running joke with him and me.
It, of course, had a sequel. Ranger Jameson: Episode 2- Die Another earth Day followed shortly after and was completed with great success. Totally topping its previous brother, episode 2 introduced a fancy new villain and opened for some new atmosphere to the series. Episode 3 is on its way and I’m doing my best to get the series hosted on Flashplayer.com.
A favorite crap animation of people is Jerry the Loon. I’m not sure why people like him. I was really bored one night and made this within two hours. This one is actually small enough to be uploaded on to imageshack so you can watch it. It’s really retarded XD
CLICK HERE TO WATCH "JERRY THE LOON"
My current short I’m making that’s actually rather poorly done is Mipp the Woreor It’s about a warrior named Mipp and his stupid adventures. This is the first episode. My sister and her boyfriend saw the first part of it and are hooked. I’m forced to finish it before my sister comes to visit today. Must get to work!
So as you can see, I’m keeping busy. I hope I can entertain you all some more somehow. Until tomorrow, cheers!

Yesiree bob! My new myOtaku is finally up and running. A new piratey layout features some sexy graphics for your enjoyment. The animated title would be better if gif animations didn't make the sunset quality crap out, but I can't help it. It's too cool to not be animated :D
Anywhoozles, I plan on actually posting in this as much as I can. In the past, I've been pretty bad about it. I dunno, I guess I'm not the journal type of guy. When I see journals, I usually see losers running around with stickers all over a Hello Kitty notebook shouting "I just updated my journal LOL!11!!ONE!!" and makes me wanna hang them from the top of a flagpole by their undergarments. But nevertheless, it seems manly enough since I'm doing it.
If you turned on my music, you're listening to an mp3 from the game The Curse of Monkey Island. Honestly my favorite computer game ever and it's just brilliant and funny. And as you can see, the score is brilliance as well. I could listen to its soundtrack all day. But I can't since I listen to the band Live 24/7 instead. If I can find samples of whole Live songs, there's no doubt their magical melodies will grace my myOtaku site immediately.
In bigger news, I am working on numerous projects. One is, in fact, a roleplaying competition for OtakuBoards.
Yes, it's called The Roleplayers. Creative title, eh? I thought it fit all too well, so I just stuck with it. I was originally going to make an RPG called The Roleplayers, but this suited the glorified title better. In The Roleplayers, eight competitors must roleplay as several different characters I've made in numerous different RPG ideas I have created for this contest. Sometimes they may even have to make a character themselves, which will test their creativity levels to the max. It won't be easy. Writing skills come in handy, folks.
Sign ups will begin July 25th in the Adventure Underground. Look for it!
Having said that, I've also been working on a new story idea. It's called Palldin of the Wicked West--or Palladin for short--and is about an outlaw named Palladin who robs banks, gets into mischief, and has an adventurous cowboy-styled life.
The story takes place in an alternate dimension of our very own American westerns. This world is called The Wicked West. You never know what you'll find. Sure you'll get cowboys and indians probably. That's what westerns are! But you'll also get voodoo, witch doctors, swordfighting (yes, these cowboys use swords as well as guns), futuristic weaponry, monsters, you name it! The Wicked West is definitely not like your normal western world, but it definitely can bring out a new light to the John Wayne classics.
So watch out for Palladin when it premiers on OtakuBoards. I'll most likely keep you informed here for when it shows up... if I choose to take the idea further.
Before I forget to say, I am leaving on vacation to Los Angeles on August 3rd and won't be back 'til around the 12th or 13th. I'll be closing The Roleplayers sign ups when I return. Then a day after that, I'm off to Cross Country camp, so The Roleplayers will be postponed 'til my return... that or I'll make the first round start and be a week long. All my other projects and RPGs I'm participating in will be postponed as well. That's all for that.
Not bad for my first post. I hope to keep this up. I also hope I'm not borin' ye. I plan on making a short story series for just my myOtaku here called Dragon Warrior's myOtaku Adventures, which should keep you entertained partially while reading one of my craptastic posts.
Cheers!

Gyarr!
I've had no reason to post lately. My RPG ideas have been good, but I now have so many I'm unsure which one suits. So that's in the crapper for now.
Perhaps I'll post something of use soon... hmmm...

Loendusk Stuffness
Hi :^D
If any of you are aware of more than your fingers, then you may have noticed some stuff up in my introduction above. One is the link called "Loendusk." This is my new project: a vast forum RPG where the whole messageboards is one large game. Pretty much you live a life in the world of Loendusk and do whatever the nizzle you want, but there's more to it. Everyone is some race of elf and take on some type of lifestyle. More will be said when the forum opens.
For now, going there is meaningless since you won't be able to sign up or do anything, but stare at my pretty graphic work. Gafaw!
I'll give you guys the heads up when Loendusk opens.
