Weird Day
OMG Today was a really weird day. Like REALLY weird.
It started out pretty normal, except that I didn't get to take a shower this morning and so I was pretty dirty. In World Geography we started watching Hotel Rwanda and it's really good. In science we just took notes like usual. So the first three hours of my day was relatively normal.
English was a little different in the sense that we got to drink hot chocolate in class. We've done this before but we don't get to do it very often. I'm also really enjoying reading A Break with Charity and since we got to read it today for the entire period I was happy.
Math was awful. And not just kinda awful, like really awful! We had a math test that was only 15 questions! 15! Only two people in the entire eighth grade finished! I finished but I skipped three. The same three that a lot of people skipped. #4, #8, and #10. We're studying system of equations but we also had Chemical Problems. We just learned how to do them yesterday and she said they weren't going to be on today's test (we're doing part of it today and part friday) and #8 was a chemical problem! I was so frustrated.
The Literary Magazine Committee met upstairs today and while we were eating (this is the really wierd part) the lights started to flicker, and then eventually went off. The clocks turned off the computers shut down and the entire school lost power. Two minutes later the flicker back on and then flicker back off. They come back on and stay on but a really wierd smell arises. We would later find out that an electrical wire had broken and the generator in the pre-school had stopped working creating the wierd smell. So Speech and Spanish were practically goof off time (not like they're not always like that) but everything was in the dark because the had to turn the power off so the electricians could fix it.
Then last period we would've normally gone to P.E. but all the pre-schoolers, who had evacuated, were staying in the gym. So Mr. King took us outside.
And that was my crazy day! I hope you've enjoyed this dragonboy621 production!
