Loathing, unadulterated loathing...

Uh...kind of long so...yeah... I usually don't like to rant or vent about anything that's going on in my life. It usually either blows over or I get over it before there's a chance for me to even make a post about it. But on this occasion... There's just so much going thru my head about this that I just don't know where to start. I'm not exactly exploding mad or anything, just...frustrated? Calmly upset? I don't know. All I know is that I need to vent about this because...if I don't it will simmer and fester until I'm just completely bothered by it. So I'm cutting it off right at the pass. Those of you who have known me for a good amount of time know that I have been writing fanfiction for a while now (particularly in the Naruto fandom, and more specifically centering around Tenten). Probably since back in 2005, maybe a little before then. Those of you a bit closer to me know that I want to become an author one day and get a book published. Maybe a full novel, maybe a collection of short stories. I'm not exactly sure, and this doesn't really matter much at the moment. The point is, I take my writing very seriously. Those of you on my f-list that I've RPed with will know the truth in that statement. I put a lot of time, effort, and thought into what I write. For most, if not all of you, those are the reasons why we have become friends: thru my writings and my dedication to them. And I loved every minute I spent on my writing, whether it was on fics or for RPing. So imagine my reaction when I scroll thru the searches on Fanfiction.Net today and come across a fic that clearly plagiarizes one of mine. It's not the entire fic, but a good number of lines were clearly taken from mine. -sighs- There are no words to express what I'm feeling, none which are positive anyways. At first I thought I was crazy, or just being paranoid. But there is no mistaking it now. It's just too much of a coincidence to be anything else but. Shall we take a look at the evidence? Exibit A: My SasuTen fic originally submitted to the 20_truths community on LiveJournal. Date clearly says that it was submitted December 05, 2005. Please keep that in mind. Exibit B: That same fic re-submitted to my FF.net account, in case you wanna argue that I could've easily changed the date. Publish date says January 28, 2006. Update date says January 30, 2008. Please keep those dates in mind. Exhibit C: The Culprit's fic. Note both publishing and update dates: April 14, 2008. Both of which are after any of the dates that my fic could have been published for the internet to see. Now then. Take a look at both. Read mine first. Either one of the links, they both should read the same. Then take a good look at their fic. I didn't notice anything until about the third paragraph. After that it slowly becomes obvious. Like I said, it's not the entire fic, but there are a good number of lines in there that are word for word. I've been writing since 2005, at least. That's three years of fanficing for a fandom and a character that I love endlessly (despite a few of the questionable stuff that Kishimoto has done with the later half of the manga). For the most part, there was nothing but positive feedback and very helpful critiques that I cherish more than you can ever imagine. And because of my choice of pairings, I've also gotten my fair share of negativities as well. I have taken a lot from reviewers over the years, ranging from snide, 'innocent' comments to all out childish and pointless flames that were three words long. But never in my life have I ever felt so hurt and betrayed. To come across something as disrespectful as that... There are just NO words. I am angry. I am upset. I do NOT get angry or upset easily, so this is saying a lot coming from me. I just... -sighs- Whatever... -walks off- I love Ren & Hao. What about you?

In the heat of the night we are having a fiesta...

LMAO! Oh man, I love my mom so much. So I was in the kitchen helping my mom make some Crab Rangoon (we're so Asian, I know, but you love it), and she was talking on the phone with her friend. Then all of a sudden, in the middle of teasing said friend, she goes "Kukuku~" -long pause of silence with occasional cricket chirp- ...Shut up, I thought it was HILARIOUS and you know you did too!. Seriously, she went "Kukuku~" xD! I had to put down the wanton wrap in my hand before I ended up dropping it. That had to have been the best way I've spent an afternoon in a LONG ASS TIME. So things have been pretty laxed as of late. Things after midterms are pretty hectic cuz it usually means that finals are not too far away. It's crunch time people~ Thankfully I think I've got things handled. And the best part, I was finally able to sign up for classes next semester. HOPEFULLY THE LAST SEMESTER I'LL HAVE TO REGISTER FOR BEFORE I GET TO GRADUATE. As far as I know, I will have completed the required amount of credits and have taken the required classes to get my Bachelors in Arts for my English: Creative Writing degree. -insert happy and excited fanfare- I'll put up my schedule sometime in August because between now and then who knows how my schedule's gonna change (last time one of the classes I had signed up for was canceled for the semester so I had to rush to register for another course to fill in so that I could keep my full-time student status). But yeah, that's pretty much all that's been going on with me. Never heard back from the coffee guy. Oh well. I hear he's moving to Florida anyways so...whatever. It's all good. I'm...surprisingly enjoying life a bit right now (a lot even). So tell me what's up with you guys. Spread the love people~ ♥♥♥ I love Ren & Hao. What about you?

If you're under the age of 11 or 12...you shouldn't even read this, and if you do, you should not repost this. Just because you were born in '97 doesn't mean you're a 90's kid. It's not like you could remember the original Simpsons. I am sorry but three conscious years of the 90's just wont cut it. You're a 90's kid if: You remember watching: -Doug -Ren & Stimpy -Pinky and the Brain -AAAAAAAH Real Monsters! -Rockos modern Life. -Animaniacs -Gargoyles -Are You Afriad Of The Dark You've ever ended a sentence with the word "PSYCHE!" You just cant resist finishing this . . . "Iiin west Philadelphia born and raised . . ." [ ...-must resist-... *__*! ] You remember: -Step by Step -Family Matters -Dinosaurs -Boy Meets World -Full House You remember when it was actually worth getting up early on a Saturday to watch cartoons. You remember reading "Goosebumps" You still get the urge to say "NOT" after (almost) every sentence . . . not [ ...Word. ] When everything was settled by: -rock paper scissors, or -bubble gum bubble gum in a dish, or -ms. mary mack When kick ball was a daily activity. When we used to obey our parents You used to listen to the radio all day long just to record your FAVORITE song of ALL time on a tape. You remember when Super Nintendos and Sega Genisis became popular. You remember The Original Game Boy. You always wanted to send in a tape to America's Funniest Home Videos . . . but never taped anything funny. You remember watching: -The Magic School Bus -Wishbone -Reading Rainbow -and Ghostwriter on PBS [ This show was my life all through the third and fourth grade ;__; ] You remember when Yo-Yos were cool. You remember those Where's Waldo books. You remember eating Warheads and Splashers Gum. You remember watching: -the 1st Batman -Aladdin -Ninja Turtles -ghost busters You remember Ring Pops. If you remember when every thing was "da BOMB!" You remember boom boxes vs. cd players. [ ...I still have a boom box. ] Making those little paper fortune cookie things, and then predicting your life with them. [ ...-snerk- Did that all the way thru High School xD ] You played and/or collected "Pogs" You had at least one Tamagotchi, GigaPet, or Nano and brought it everywhere. [ Borrowed one from a friend. ] one word. . . . . . . .trolls. [ skfsdflsdjf...I'm still wondering where my yellow and blue ones disappeared off to. >_>; ] Windows 95 was the best. [ HA, didn't even get a computer til 2001. But oh god, the computers at school. Oregon Trail baby, THE ORIGINAL! ] You watched the original cartoons of -Rugrats -Wild Thornberry's -Power Rangers [ You're not a child of the 90s if you didn't see at least one episode. ] -Rocket Power. All your school supplies were "Lisa Frank" brand. You collected those Beanie Babies. Carebears [ CAREBEARS! *__* ] Lambchop's song never ended. Silver dollars, which were cool to have. [ I think I might still have some... ] Everyone watched the WB. If you even know what an original walkman is. [ ...Again, I still have one. ] You know the Macarena by heart. [ -snickers- I have the darn thing on my playlist. xD ] "Talk to the hand" . . . enough said You went to McDonald's to play in the playplace. [ Do they even have playplaces anymore? D: ] You remember playing on merry go rounds at the playground. Before the MySpace frenzy . . . Before the Internet & text messaging . . . Before Sidekicks & iPods . . . Before PlayStation3 or X-BOX 360 . . . Before Spongebob . . . Before Tupac was shot. When light up sneakers were cool. [ DUDE, THEY STILL ARE TO ME. >__>; ] When you rented VHS tapes, not DVDs. When gas was $0.95 a gallon. When we recorded stuff on VCRs. You had slap bracelets! [ I HAVE TWO, SO THERE! ] You Actually played outside until it was dark! Way back. Before we realized all this would eventually disappear. Post this if you remember these days . . . . Post with the year you were born. Added note from DS: Time moves without you noticing...until you actually take the time to look back. I miss those days sometimes. And I'm sure I'm not the only one. :3 I love Ren & Hao.
