   changes...


you never notice how much you change until you take a look at something from a few years ago...i was working on that story that i had started writing back when i was a sophomore in high school (which was about two years ago)...and i started editing it...so far every paragraph that i've looked at has been completely re-written...

i thought about just re-writting the entire thing...but that's 45 handwritten pages down the drain...had it been a smaller number of pages i might have been able to part with them for newer material...but come on it's 45 pages...that was like half the notebook...hehe, looks like my notebook's gonna be nothing but crossed out sentences and long paragraphs written in the margin...that should be an amusing sight to see...

in keeping with the theme of changes...i started looking at my old yearbooks...and i read a lot of comments that pplz made in them...some made me laugh...some were really ironic cuz they said that we'd be friends forever and currently they aren't talking to me...and others just reminded me of why i loved them so much...what i wouldn't give to see certain pplz one last time and remember the good times we had...

hehe...what can i say?...i'm a sentimental old fool...but i guess there's nothing wrong with that...i just wish i had some friends to reminice with right now...it's not all that fun to look back and remember all by yourself...

on a lighter and happier note...i just got an email announcing that the book "Eldest" from the Eragon trilogy will be coming out on August 23...the cities for the book tour have been announced as well and Kansas City is one of them... *jumps up and down with joy* ...if you haven't read "Eragon" i suggest you do cuz it's an amazing book...a fantasy adventure that you won't soon forget...dates and venues for the book tour are to be announced...

PS. it's always nice to take a trip dowm memory lane...
