   concert tonight!

sorry i could not update sooner, by the time we got back from funworks, the com lab was closed! i was so sad...*sniff sniff* we have a concert in a few hours, i'm so nervous! it's for jazz band, brass choir, and trombone quartet. these are the songs i'm haveing to play...*looks at clock* 0.o i need to go get ready soon! these are jazz band songs: squib cakes stella by starlight blues in the night (my mama don tol' me) this is the brass choir one: canzon duodecimi toni and this is for the trombone quartet: two sonatas that last one was very origional...not. but they all sound really cool! but i'm so nervous >.< i'm afraid to mess up... i'll go get ready now! ^^ i'm wearing this skirt....it's so fun! it's black and white polka dots and it's all twirly when you spin ^^ after the concert, there is a barbeque and a dance/pool party thingy have a great day, and i'll come back to report how horribly i messed up today! the big concert's tomorrow 0.o scary....

   tomorrow (aka, today maybe) is funworks!!!!!!!!!!

so...worn out -_-,, this scedule is killing me. you feel so worn out...and by the end of the day, your ombuchure(sorry for my sad spelling) is so worn out that you can't play anymore...>.< i just got here from a fauclty concert! they are so good! ^^ i wish i could play half as good as them! this is michelle again: wow... guess i'm famous in the world of anime/dreamwings....hmmm.... i like my world better... this keyboard is giving me issues... must press...AGH!!!!! leaving... and penguins are way cool... anyone who thinks otherwise must "consult" Stan and Earl. They are big and buff... don't mess with them... face their fury... TRUST ME. Conversation from yesterday: michelle: Wow... i like this whole button pushing thing... you press them and you get what you want! Other Friend: yeah... they should work that into real life... that'd be great... DW: *blank looks at both* .... it's a vending machine.... *walks away* hehe...^^ yep, that's me i guess...it WAS a vending machine! Different Conversation from Y-t-day: Friend: geez... you really shouldn't mess with stan and earl... Michelle: who are stan and earl? DW: STAN and EARL *flexs right and left arms respectively* Michelle: HOLY COW!!! YOU'RE RIPPED! DW: I am?! *looks at arm*...whoa... I didn't know i had those... *continues to flex right and left arms* wow... Now you now who stan and earl are... toodles for now! back to me...^^ i can't believe she said that...*blushes* i'm not that strong...>.< well, i should go practice some...*sighs* i need to practice alot...concerts on friday and saturday... but...thursday nigh were going to....FUNWORKS!!!!!!! go carts and ddr! ^^ have a great thursday! ^^

   busy busy busy...

i counted it up...and i'm having to play my trombone for 8 hours a day X_X that's alot alot alot..... hello mppl i don't know... this is michelle... okay i'm done... bye! percussion rocks and i guess trombones are okay but... nah... they must go... PENGUINS RULE! you didn't see anything...*thump* y that was my buddy! ^^ but....TROMBONES DO RULE!!!! i guess...ok...penguins are ok too... need sleep....ZZZZzzzzz.... let's see....guess what?!?!?! i'm first chair in jazz band, it's so fun! ^^~which is waaaaaaay cool....~ (that was michelle again) and, i'm in a trombone quartet now too...so much music X_X have a great wednesday! get some rest!

ok, when i said that the dorms might have been on fire in the last post... someone that doesn't know how to use a microwave tried to make popcorn, and started their kitchen on fire...that set off the whole dorm smoke alarm

   camp is tiring...and yet so much fun!!!

very...tired...X_X we played SO much! and...i just ran really far to get here before the computer lab closes... guess what...i'm first chair trombone in jazz band and in brass choir! i'm so so so happy! ^-^ let's see...i'll be able to pm this week, but i can't read comments >.< the com blocks the pop up comment window! so...i guess i'll have something to look forward to when i get home ^^ that's about all i have time for now...the com labs closing... i hope you all have a great tuesday! ohuh...the fire alarms going off in our dorm building!?!?! and al the lights are flashing weird.... O_o i hope everythings ok there...they won't let us in yet...

Adventures at Band Camp - Day 1

This is Strawcatcher (AKA mom) posting for dream wings. Anna's first day of band camp was eventful. Auditions were a challenge, but in the end she qualified for second chair in orchestra (quite a fete!). She is also in the Jazz and Concert bands, so she will have a busy week. The Orchestra is using music from Bach, "written in some foreign clef" Anna deems 'evil'. She is spending her first night transposing it into bass clef. Anna is the only girl in the base line for all bands. (and she says she doesn't like being noticed!) She will be able to return some of the nights to do her own post. She'll have lots to tell if she finds the time.

   ta ta for now!

saturday was really fun! ^^ i went to a b-day party. all the girls there were 12-13, and yet i fit in, i guess i really am just a little kid ^^ we went to the mall (i think that was the 4th or 5th time going there in my life) and went to that build a bear workshop thingy! ^^ i made a bear, and dressed him in a karate uniform, he's so cute! and snuggly *hugs bear* i wuv him ^^ and...O_o today is dooms day....*cries* i'm going to band camp...this is terrible, i'm going to be the laughing stock of the band >.< without an audition piece, i'm doomed to be last chair...and in my band, i'm first...my section will never respect me at this rate... hopefully, i'll be able to post throughout the week. i heard that there's a really nice computer lab somewhere on campus ^^ (this camp is at a college) but i'm really gonna miss coming on here every other second *cry cry* oh yea...*sighs* happy father's day to all those fathers out there... wish me luck in my auditions! ^^ i'll need all the luck i can get! have a great sunday, and if i can't get back, have a great week!

   i'm sorry for being so down, i'm back now

i'm very sorry for those last few posts *hangs head in shame* i just wasn't being myself...i'm sorry if i worried any of you today was much better ^^ i didn't have to go down to paint again after all. instead i stayed home and worked here cleaning up. we're going through a MAJOR remodel, so there's never a shortage of chores to do >.< ok...i went to go pick my sis up from kindergarten today...and before i got there (i'm pathetic, and can't drive yet, so i walked) some guy on a motorcycle drove up...he offered me a ride, but i told him no thank you (although, it was one of the coolest motorcycles i've seen! ^^) he kept asking if i was sure, because it was really hot, and it would be alot faster with a ride, but i just said that i had to get my sis, bye! and kept walking... but i don't know who it was on the motorcycle...they had one of those black thingys on the helmet when i got there (i was pretty early) i sat under a tree, when i heard...mooing! like a cow! ^^ and guess what? there was one, a cow in the road in front of the school! some guy had parked his trailer down the street, and somehow the cow got out! ^^ it was a weird site, seeing a cow playing around in front of the school then, i went to a suprise going away party for a foriegn exchange student...it's going to be so sad when she leaves *cries* at the party, i played this really fun game! it was donkey konga! ^^ fun fun, drums and clapping, it reminded me a bit of playing ddr and i don't think i'll be sick to long this time ^^ *crosses fingers* i have to much to do to be sick, so i'm just ignoring it! (although...i got pretty bad for a bit at the party >.< they all made me sit down, and made a big fuss over me >.<) i hope you all have a really great saturday! p.s. does anyone know who that was in my chat box? the first time someone was mean, i at least knew who it was, but it couldn't have been the same person this time, i know...who was that?

   why....

i went painting again all day >.< and i know alot of you said not to work to hard...but i did...and now i'm getting sick again... i don't have time to be sick >.< i'm to busy for this here was how the day went, not good.... 1)right when i got there, i grabbed the hose to rinse out my paint brushes, and felt something on my hand...it was a black widow 2)i kept falling off my ladder again today >.< and i think i twisted my ankle wrong... 3)we went to a hardware store, and i thought it would be about half an hour, so i waited in the car. i fell asleep, and woke up two hours later, with no windows down...it was so hot, i almost baked...big headach >.< 4)all the fumes from the paint and ammonia really got to me...and i was acting a bit "tipsy" 5)i kept telling my mom that i was feeling sick...but i still went on working...till i really got sick X_X and threw up... 6)there were so many nice oppertunities to make my wish come true...and yet they all backfired >.< the spider could have bit me, i could have cooked in the car, or fell on my head instead of my ankle, or really gotten sick bad from the fumes...but, no, of course not >.< for some reason i'm still here... 7)and...today i'm going back there again...*cries* i'm really not seeing much point... but, i must not be being myself, i'll come back soon, i promise. i'm sorry for troubleing all of you with this... ummmm...to say something good...i got to listen to the radio all yesterday ^^ have a nice friday, stay away from paint fumes
