Oh dear, here we go again.....

I did over 12 hours of community service today....without any break. It was pretty crazy. It's neat work, I suppose. I worked at one of those community spirit tree's where there are tags with kids wishes on them. People pick a tag, then bring back some of the kid's wishes. There are two catergorys, what the kids needs and what they would like. It all goes to kids in needy families. This year they also added in elderly people too, so there was stuff for them too ^^ When the people bring the stuff back, we fill out the paperwork and wrap the presents up and tag them for delivery.
Mostly the workers are older couples, retired or just those who work for fun. Grandma's and such ^_^ They were all really nice. During the day, they come and go in shifts, but I always stay and train the new people.
It was nice, but....It get's very repetitive, and the waits sometimes between a delivery to wrap can be hours *sighs* It can get rather tedious to sit there and look happy. I mean, it's ok to put on a smile for stuff like that when you are talking to someone, or doing something. I dare you, though, sit at a table without moving for three hours looking the picture of happiness. It's hard -.-,,
