Fun thingy.
1) Reply with your name and I'll respond with something random about you.
2) I'll tell you what song/movie reminds me of you.
3) I'll pick a flavor/color of jello to wrestle with you in.
4) I'll say something that only makes sense to you and me.
5) I'll tell you my first memory of you.
6) I'll tell you what animal you remind me of.
7) I'll ask you something that I've always wondered about you.
8) If I do this for you, you must post this on your journal.
I think this will be interesting.
As for my week of absence, it has been a week of business that i wish that my break from would have come sooner. I'll have to explain in a later post, because now i need to work on my final for World Civ one. Anyone know what the major characteristics of earlier religions of Japan are? how bout, what the hell is "Justinian"? haha, this class sucks.

Hey everyone! I'm back, even if it is for only this short amount of time. Things have been going well for me this week, which is a change for the better. I recieved a 94% on my last Positioning test, which i was happy about. On another note however, i keep forgetting to center mid-sagitally on my checkoff, and patients, and well, let's just say that's not good. Other then that, this is my final week of World Civ 1, I have another reseach paper to write, due Thursday, a paper about Gladiator, and then the take home essay which will be due the 27, when i start World Civ 2. haha. kinda wierd eh?
Work has being going alright. I work 26 hours this next week, which will probably be hell. Today was also the last day for my friend to work there, so i'm sad to see her leave, but i'll still see her so it's really no big deal. Just more hours for me, which is a double-edged sword in it's own way.
Did you know your had has 27 bones in it? Yeah, good for you, hell for me to remember them all and all the special processes they have. But hey, as long as they all work, and you don't come bother me, it's all good.
Tonight at the hospital i did 3 procedures. It's very interesting getting used to all the equipment and interacting with all the patients. Such a wide variety of people there are.
Well, i need to write a bit on my research paper, and then head for bed. I work 8-12 tomarrow, then have a baptism around 1, and then hospital from 5-10. w00t. Take care everyone, and have a great week ahead.

Hey everyone. Hehe, I just thought i'd drop by to let everyont know i'm still alive and all that jazz. School has kept me very busy, with writing papers, and going to school, and then working 20 hours a week, i hardly have time to spend with my friends. This weekend is my other friend's wedding. I can't believe it's already here! I bought her some fun gifts, and then made up a fun letter to go with it, sort of explaining them. I hope she enjoys it, which i'm sure she will. I have yet again another two tests this week, a checkoff for lab, and then positioning. I'll have to go into more detail about school stuff later on. The good news is I have found one great song to put on my site, which i shall try to get up later on in the week. Please be patient with the theme change. I'ts not quite how i want stuff to be yet.
As you can see i have taken a lot of stuff out of my intro. If you want something put back up, let me know, and i'll see what i can do. I'm working on something that might work, but might not so i don't know. The theme will remain fallish until i deem it is winter, and then we'll switch back to the "D. N. Angel Winter" theme. Man, i love that one. Anyways, take care everyone!

*hugs everyone and passes out cookies*
Hey everyone, thanks for all your comments on the last post. I haven't tried to talk to my parents about it yet, we've both been really busy, which is fine with me, i'd rather be out then home, there's really nothing to do at home. Anyways, i just wanted to say thanks, you guys are awesome.
This weekend has been fun so far! On Friday, my friend Katie came into town, and we randomly decided very early that morning (around 1am or so), that we wanted to go to the Foreigner concert, they where playing at the State Fair. So, when Katie got in town, i went to her house, and played with the kidos for a bit, and then "mom" made us pancakes and eggs for supper, and we left for Hutchison. On the way there, we listened to a Foreigner CD, (obviously!). We got there safetly, and paid our way into the fair. Then we made the long walk to the Grandstand, where the concert was being held. The lines weren't too bad, and I got us some pretty good seats! Not to bad for last minute, considering we where in row 5 of our section that was closest to the stage. The concert was awesome. We had a lot of fun, and in the end, i bought some signed drumsticks for my dad. Hehe, i almost thought about keeping them for myself, but i thought he'd like it more, so i gave them to him when i got home. He really liked them. ^_^. After we got home from teh concert, i started to develop a head cold. Mostly running nose/stuffy nose, and a slightly sore throat. Nothing too serious, and nothing that an Advil Cold and Sinus can't handle. We had a sleepover, and we watched Kung Fu Hustle. Hehe, i love that movie, so awesome. I almost feel asleep through it though (i'd already seen it twice before), because my body really didn't feel well. Let's just say i slept with the kleenex box next to my bed. In the morning, we had donuts, and i was still feeling shitty. Somehow we ended up in my room, where Katie and Ann read Immortal Rain while i read these books for my paper. I don't know how that ended up happening. Oh well, we where spending time together, that's all that really matters. Soon, Katie and Ann left, but not before Ann locked her keys in her car, and not being able to get ahold of her parents, my neighbor came over, and was able to unlock the door using a hanger. haha. So then they left, and I got ready to go to the hospital.
I have to say, I love being an rad-tech! It's soo much fun! Today was my first day for my technique class as it's called, and i got to take 3 x-rays!! Not to mention i did a lot of assisting the techs. I basically did everything but position the patient, because obviously i haven't learned how to do that yet. It was so much fun, and the people are great too. One of the techs bought me a Happy Meal for my break, and i ate it with her. we watched Law and Order: SUV, in the lounge, and then when our break was over, we went back to work. I have to say that my experience was very enjoyable! I got to see a wide variety of patients, including tiny little babies, they where so cute!! Poor little babies, i wish they all get healthy soon!
So yes, that has been my weekend so far. Tomarrow, i'll probably go to quilt bingo with my family (it's kinda a family tradition to go to the parish bingos), and then write more on my research paper. I want to get it done by monday so i can concentrate on Radiology classes during the week. I have a mid-term in History class i need to study for too on Thursday.
I hope that everyone has an awesome rest of the weekend! *hugs everyone* Take care!!!

Warning: Contents will explode under pressure.
Well, i know it's been a long time since i've updated, but i've got to get something off my chest, but first, i shall update you on school! I only missed 6 on my Positioning Test, and i only missed 1 on my Lab Test, I have yet to recieve my grade for my Intro test, but i think i missed about 4 or so, maybe more. That test was harder then the Positioning test! I hope i did okay, but it's overwith now, and i'm not going to worry too much about it. I have to write a research paper on a religion that's not my own, so i choose Shinto, so if you know any valuable information, fess up! I could use all the resources i can get! Also, i have a mid-term in World Civ next week to study for, but i hope it won't be too bad. This weekend Katie is coming back in town, so we're going to hang out and stuff. It should prove to be fun!
WARNING! THE FOLLOWING IS A VERY PISSED OFF RANT!!!
Now, onto my rant. First off, i would like to inform everyone that there is a law in this country that says it is illegal to open up other people's mail. Now, getting that out of the way, why do parents not obey this rule? Why do they fell it is their need to not only see what you have in the mail, but open it before you even see it? This has happened to me a lot, and it's mostly my bank statements. What fucking business of it is thiers to see what I buy? I make my car payment and car insurance on time, I don't see why you feel the need to read my statement. Besides, it DON"T EVEN HAVE YOUR NAME ON IT! It clearly says my name and my name only, yet they open it anyways. Now today, I recieved a special gift from a special someone that I was really really looking forward to recieving. Unfortutely for me, the mail arrived late, and i had to go off to my night class before getting it. So i come home, expecting it to come since it had been the designated amount of time, and i see my beloved package, however, it is sitting next to very mad looking man. "What the hell is this?" The conversation starts off. I'm sure you can guess where it went from there, i don't need to explain it in detail. Anyways, I was forced to open said package infront of those two, and Even open up the letter inside! Though i wasn't going to let them read it, though i did have to show them how it was signed. HOW FRICKEN STUPID IS THAT?!?! I mean, its none of their damn business! I'm fricken 20 years old! It's none of their fricken business what i get in the mail, and i definately shouldn't have to defend myself to them. WHAT THE FUCK? Well, the converstation ended with, "This better not happen again." All i have to say is, Up yours. It's my mail, and i'll do what i want to it. Opps, i got another package, i guess i forgot to tell them they couldn't send me something. Or wait, i bet they just choose not to listen, because they don't care what the fuck you say. God, i wish i could move out, this is ridiculous. Well, at any rate i'm glad i got that off my chest, and for all you guys, send away, we'll show them!! They can't get ME down!

*waves to everyone and passes out cookies*
Well, it's been awhile since i've last updated, so i thought i'd drop by and see how everyone is doing. Good I hope! My week has been really busy. Let's see what I've done:
~Well, it's now the third week of school. Wow, that went buy really fast...I have two tests this week, one on Tuesday, and the other on Wends. I'm really worried about the one on Tuesday, so right now i'm studying for the Wends one, to get that out of the way, and then spend Sunday and Monday studying for the Tuesday test. These positions are confusing and hard! You have to go off anatomical position, and then you have to tell the projection of the x-ray too. It's so much to remember, though the terms themselves aren't so hard. I have to write a 5 page research paper of Buddism for next week for History class. I think i'm going to put that off till after the tests, cuz frankly, those classes are a hell a lot more important then a stupid gen ed credit.
~Today was my friends bridal Shower. It was a lot of fun, and i got to see some people I haven't seen in a while. Plus, she liked my present which made me happy. Hehe i have to admit those puppy dog slippers i got her where pretty cute. I might get some for myself next time!
~Tuesday I went shopping with my grandma to get my hospital shoes. They are really comfy, which is a good thing.
~Wends. in lab class i got to actually play with an x-ray machine! It was so much fun! I can't wait till this week's lab, when we get to start chest x-rays.
And umm...yeah that's basically it. Lots of school, no time for fun. Though i did get some time to watch a couple of episodes of Last Exile. It's a pretty good show so far. Has anyone else heard of it? Or watched it for that fact? I hope you all have a great end of the weekend, and a great school week this upcoming week! Take care everyone!

Well, i decided to do a mid-day update, since i won't be able to be on the computer when the time changes, heh, hopefully I'll be fast asleep by then. I have to work another wonderful 5am-2pm shift. *note the sarcasm* And then after that, i get to go to my grandma's house to celebrate my Uncle's birthday, which i'll probably go there, eat, and then collaspe on the couch. So much for visiting eh?
Well, my first week of this semester was very very busy. Man, i still think my body is trying to catch up on sleep it missed out on. Don't get me wrong, i like my classes, it's just...well, to put it bluntly....hard!! I think my night class is going to be bad, seeing as how it's 4 hours in a classroom, having to listen to the teacher lecture for half of it, and then watch a movie for the other half. Not only that, having to read a buttload of stuff out of the book, and other books we have to read. To prove my point, i have to read chapters 1-3, and another 80 page book by Thursday. *sighs* This on TOP of my radiology class, where i have to read it just to try to understand what's going on. I mean, i get it in class, but when i try to do my workbook later on it's like my brain can't comprehend what it's saying. I think once i get myself into a studying schedule it should be better. The first week is always the hardest.
Well, i better get back to my homework. If you missed our character profile from last time, please scroll down and read it. Have a great weekend all!
