"What's wrong? "she muttered slowly, backing away. The laughter was gone from her face, replaced by fear, as she readied to run. This was not her friend.
Jonas strained furiously, but could hold it no longer; the hunger had scratched at him, torn at him, and he no longer had the strength to hold the beast back.
"It's okay," he said in the soothing voice used on his most frightened victims. The ones who were too ignorant to see the deathbringer for what he was before them.
But she was no fool. Jonas watched as she open her mouth to scream, but before a sound could escape her throat, his teeth were apon it. He bit her flesh and tasted the sweet, coppery substance he had been denied for so long. She struggled to fight against him, digging her nails into his shoulders, trying to pull away.
But Jonas, realizing how much the thirst had grown in him, held on to her tightly.
"Jonas," she moaned, and gasped as he bit deeper.
The ecstasy that flowed through him was so overwhelming, he barely noticed he was slowly killing her.
