This is just a story that I wrote for classes one day, I never finished it, but I will!

‘Why is life so hard for me?’ I though as I walked drearily through the small town, which has respectively earned the name, Dullsville. The only one who truly understands where I’m coming from, my best friend Alexander, who is always there for me, and I for him. Which I think is unfair, because I have so many problems in my life, and he doesn’t. Well, let me rephrase that, we share a common problem. There’s this rumor floating around town claiming that I and Alexander are vampires. Very untrue. I hate people like that. Always assuming things without knowing or willing to know for that matter, the truth in the misleading rumors that believe to be true. But that’s not the only problem I face. My problems started to accumulate after my mother had found out my horrible secret that makes up my morbid DNA. My mother had called me ‘an un-holy, vile, demon child of Satan.’ When she called me that, I had prayed and prayed for Death to come and strike her down with one mighty swing of his great scythe. My prays had been answered. My mother had mysteriously died in her sleep on my birthday. I was turning 4 years old that day. Now the story behind my father isn’t so gruesome. My father had gone on a business trip to Russia, but he never came back. I was only 2 then. I thank God that I had known Alexander before my mother had passed away. Alexander’s mother was kind enough to take me in and raise me as her own. None of my close relatives would take me in. They all had believed why my mother had called me before she died. Since I was 4 years old, I had been living with Alexander. Fast forward 16 years, which takes us to the present day. Now that I’m 18, I live on my own with my 2 black cats, Slasher, and Pink. Alexander practically lives with me, but I enjoy his company. We share the same interests and everything.

Now that you know my life story this is what’s going down. I’m supposedly meeting someone that Alexander had found that can help me with my problems. Yeah, knowing Alexander it will be someone who will be completely useless to me. But I’m willing to give it a shot. Oh hooray, the coffee shop. This is one the best places to hang out at. Especially when there are a lot of Dullvillians, its fun to scare all of the little kids. But that’s another story for another time. As I step into the small coffee shop, I notice that Alexander is only sitting by himself. ‘Great, now what is he dragging me into this time?’ I thought as I made my way over to Alexander who had a small cup of coffee next to him and one on the other side of him.

“So where is this mystery person who is supposed to help me with my problems?” I asked, sitting down on the other side of the table and taking a small sip of the black coffee.

“He’s not going to be here right now. We have to wait until later.” Replied Alexander, who was looking at me deeply with a small smirk on his pale face.

“Why do I have to wait until later to talk to him? And what’s with the goofy look on your face for?

“You’ll just have to wait until tonight to see him, and I think you’ll really enjoy this with great pleasure, Spooky.”
“Will you stop calling me that!? I have a name you know.” I hated it when he called me that.

“But that’s not what you were saying last night.” Alexander said, with a sexy smile on his face.

My pale face turned a small shade of pink. I covered my blushed face with my small, pale hands. “Don’t do that to me!” I said through my covered face. Just then the waitress came by and asked if we needed anything else to go with our coffee. We both declined and said that we were getting ready to go. She smiled and said that would be fine and that she would return with our bill. I asked Alexander more questions about the person I’m supposed to meet tonight, but he simply wouldn’t tell me. The waitress came back with the bill and a small tray to take our coffee cups away. I went to pull out my wallet out of my purse but Alexander stopped me.

“You already have enough problems, let me get this.” He said as he pulled out his wallet and placed $10 on the table. I smiled at him as a thank you as we both got up and walked out of the small coffee shop hand-in-hand.
