I GOT A SHINY

Well, I had an award ceremony tonight. And I was one of the two choir singers to get a "Most Improved Singer" award. I was extremely flattered, and I wont be suprised if I get a swelled head from it.

The other singer, Gisele, is pretty good too. She tried out for Chambers, but didn't make it...dissapointing, really. But it doesn't matter since she was one of the singers from our school at the music festival and I wasn't (I made it into Chambers though).

So, I'm gonna be happy now~

   Not much...
All I know is that the banquet's tomorrow, and my brother's coming. He's 16, in ROTC, and a guitarist, which brings me back to a conversation I had with a friend's friend this morning. See, we call him Lightning, because, as lightning never strikes the same place once, he never plays the same guitar solo twice. Here's how the conversation went.

Me: So, yeah, my brother's gonna be at the banquet. He's a guitarist, y'know.
Him: How long's he been playing.
Me: Dunno...two, three years?
Him: HA! Five years for me!
Me: Way to go Lightning. *punch my arm up* Whoo.

You should have seen the look on his face. :D

-My brother's birthday is tomorrow. He's gonna be 11, I think. I forget. Our birthdays are three years apart...so, yeah, 11.

-All the chorus people at my school got a banquet the day after tomorrow. I got to bring chips, apparently...Doritos, anyone?

That's all I can really inform you on right now. I'm just bored. Maybe I'll fill up one of those plastic tote boxes with Pokemon games, lift it up with a crane and drop it on an unsuspecting passerby.

Got that Senior Citizen project thing for Home Ec (Family Consumer Science) done. I did it with my Grampa Vic when we ate at a diner just a few minutes ago. So I'm gonna sum that up with that.

$2.55 'till I can buy a new DS game which I so richly need. I know what game I'm gonna buy, I just...meh, I'm too tired to explain. >>
