book quotes
Currently reading a book called Time Line by: Michael Crichton. The darn book is like 749 pages O_o it's on my summer reading list for school. lol. The book is in large print. :P
Well here are some of my fav. quotes that i've read from books.:
1. "It's weird. Sometimes I feel like my life takes care of itself. I mean, everything just happens, and I go along for the ride. I don't feel like I'm making any choices, I'm just lving kind of accidently. I wonder if anyone else feels like this, or if I'm crazy."
-The Black Book [Diary of a Teenage Stud]Vol 1 Girls, Girls, Girls By: Jonah Black (Jonah Black doesn't exisit. He really doesnt.)
"White!" she murmured. "I don't like white things. Death has white hounds. Mo once told me a story about them." "Ah yes, the white, red-eyed hounds of Death." Fenoglio came over to her. "Ghosts are white, too, and the thirst of the ancient gods for blood was quenched only by white sacrifical animals, as if the gods like the taste of innoncence best."
-Ink Heart By: Cornelia Funke
"You should know that she prefers to fight to death." Kamahl turned, heading backu up the corridor, "I prefer to fight to the life."
-Onslaught Book 1 By: J. Robert King
"Death comes suddenly and life is fragile and brief. No one can altar this, wiether by prayers or spells. Children cry about it, but men and woman do not cry. They have to endure."
-Across the Nightingale Floor By:Lian Hearn
"All parents damage their children It cannot be helped. Youth, like pistine glass asborbs the prints of its handlers. Some parents sumdge. others crack, a few shatter childhoods completely jagged little pieces, beyond repair."
-The Five People you Meet in Heaven By:Mitch Albom
"First you laugh, then you tell a pretty lie, the you stick your tongue in each others' mouths, then you say something hurtful to each other, then you go off to find someone else you want to play the game with. This is an activity for intelligent people? I think not."
-Hard Love By:Ellen Wittlinger
