Chapter 8
Cerisa and Roselyna stopped their wailing and let go of each after a minute.Cerisa looks back at Tidus and bows down.Isaac does the same as Cerisa.
"Thank you,again.You are a good friend,"Cerisa thanks Tidus,"Now we must leave,back to my realm before something goes wrong."
"You're welcome lil'Ceres,and you're always welcomed here,"Tidus says sweetly.
Sooner than an hour,the group are at the edge of the floating iland.The four-winged bird,Horus,Waited for them to climb on his back.The raptors were minimized again and kept safe in their owner's pockets.Roselyna runs up to Luneitus and tackles him down!
"Wha-!?"Luneitus hits the ground and Roselyna hugs him and smooches his cheek.
"I'll miss you!"She squeaks,as Cerisa glares down at her.
Roselyna looks at Isaac and glomps him down too.She gives him a kiss on his left cheek and smiles and Mia is also glaring at her.
"And I'll miss you too!"She giggles.
Once she leaves,Icurus and some of the village children walk up to them with sad faces.Icurus hugs Luneitus's legs like before,for being so short and the other kids hugged Isaac,Mia,and Cerisa.All of the cry and beg for them to stay.
"I'm gonna miss ya all!"Icurus barely chirps.
"Don't worry Icurus,we'll see you again,"Luneitus says.
The group hopped on Horus and set off back to their world.They reach there within an hour,landing safely,and changed their raptors back to normal.Once Horus leaves,they ride aways,running deeper into the forest.This time they are heading North.Cerisa seemed a bit confused of why they headed the direction and so looked at Mia.
"Why are we goin' North?"she asks.
"hm?...oh,well I have this feeling that we are suppose to go North,its odd though that I'm acting on impulse from a strange vibe,"Mia answers nervously.
Luneitus looks at them,flying besides the both.
"Thats not odd...up North,many water related elements rule over the territory.Plus,there is a temple where humans worshipped the Mercury gods,"Luneitus says.
"So then...it seems like Mia can sense the spiritual energy of the temple,"Cerisa tries to sum it all up,"The temple is calling for her?"
Luneitus nods and Mia looks down,worried.Sickle clicks her tongue as if trying to talk to Mia.She looks at her raptor and cheers up a bit.Taro and Asin sniff the air and start to growl lowly.
Isaac's eyes slant and he glances around.Luneitus grints his teeth as he feels a strange energy.Taro heads toward the directon of the energy source.Isaac sees a figure sitting on a rock with fiery energy surrounding the person.Cerisa and Mia notice that it's Ifrit,sitting silently still with an albow set on his knee and his hand holding the side of his face.
Cerisa approaches cautiously with an infuriated Luneitus behind her.She meerely looks at Ifrit closely then starts to giggle.
"What's so funny?"Isaac asks seriously.
"He's sleeping!"She whispers pointing to his face.
"HM!?"Mia,Isaac,and Luneitus are a bit surprised.
Mia goes up next to Cerisa,also looking at Ifrit closely.
"You're Right!!He's sound asleep,"Mia says,"I wonder how he does sleep and puts up his guard at the same time in a relaxed mood."
"Thats Sunboy for ya,he is the hardest sleeper you'll ever find and yet he is most dangerous when sleeping,"Luneitus mutters,"...I would kill him now but chances are that he'll most likely be on the high defense...and it wouldn't seem fair no matter how much I hate him."
"Lets get going then,"Isaac lightly says.
"Wait!Hold on real quick,"Cerisa pleads.
Just as she reaches over for something,a spark cracks near her,warning that she is too close.The temperature in the air rises and the energy surrounding Ifrit builds up a bit.Cerisa winces but steps a little closer and quickly snatches something next to him.She goes back to the group quickly before she gets burned and hops on Asin.
"Ok we can go now,"She winks and they head off.
"What did you do?"Mia asks.
"lets just say i 'borrowed' something from him that'll be helpful for us,"Cerisa answers.
~To the Sleeping one~
Ifrit's eyes open lightly and he looks around.He looks at the direction where the group had left.
"...Thats odd...hm?"He glances down at an open pockets on his side belt,"...!Wait a minute..."
~Back to the group~
"What did you take?"Isaac asks.
"...You'll see soon,"Cerisa answers slowly.
-'It seems important'-Isaac thinks to himself.
