Hey guys. just finished watching Fullmetal Alchemist. Hate that episode. why? i dunno... But neways just sitting here talking to ck as usual (she's being meanie beanie to me again! ::sobs::) i'm now watching s-Cry-eD... i just noticed sumthing... Riuho's hair's green... weird... the clorine from the pool probably got to it. he should get some shampoo and wash it out. That new Hairapy stuff from that comercial works. my sister tried it. she says it works. tho i don't get the difference between shampoos... shampoo is shampoo in my opinion.... i dunno. I also finished writing chapter five to my story ::jumps for joy:: w00t!! and again it's not a happy happy joy joy chapter, but still it's got sum humor in it. n_n well neways i really have nothing left to say i dont think. i have nothing special planned for today other than just sitting at home wasting my life away day by day. lol usual stuff i guess. well right now my post has turned into nuthing but a rant, so i suppose i'll leave it at that. ttypl!

Chapter Five


Winry got right to work on EMO Boy's arm. While she was waiting, Kitty decided to talk to Edward Scissorhands. She sat down beside him on the sofa and studied his motions. He was very quiet, shy - almost like a little lost boy searching for his mother. He gazed at the television in amazement hoping that Elmer Fud wouldn't shoot the rabbit.

"So, do you like Bugs Bunny?" Kitty asked.

"Who?"

"Bugs Bunny. You know, the show you're watching?"

"I suppose. I just hope that the rabbit gets hurt..."

"Don't worry he never does." Kitty smiled.

"How do you know?"

"These are all repeats from when my parents were kids. I've seen them all before."

"So the rabbit never gets hurt?"

"Nope. Even though sometimes Ed likes to joke around saying that he does get hurt. I swear, Ed can be so mean sometimes." Kitty laughed.

"Ed? I'm not mean… Do you really think I'm mean? I don't remember saying mean things about the bunny...If I did, I'm awfully sorry..." Edward cried.

"Oh, no! I didn't mean you. I was talking about the other Ed I know." she reassured him.

"Another Ed? Will I get to meet this 'Another Ed'?"

"Yes. In time you'll meet him."

Hours passed after that conversation. Kitty grew tired. It was close to four a.m. She knocked on the door to Ed's room to see what was going on. Before the door opened she heard a painful moan. It came from Edward (EMO Boy).

The door opened and Winry snuck her body out of a small opening, and shut it behind her.

"So how's it going in there?" Kitty asked.

"It's actually doing well. He's just as strong as someone else I know who had to have the same surgery done." Winry answered.

"I'm glad. I don't know what I'd do if anything ever took him away..."

"You know he's doing this all for you. He loves you. He said he wouldn't be able to live with himself if anything ever happened to you because he wasn't able to get this surgery. He wouldn't have been able to protect you."

"I thank him for that, but I just want to know if that's what he truly wants done."

"I’m sure it is." Winry smiled.
"Alrighty then, I guess I'll get some shut eye. 'Night." Kitty yawned as she walked away and slumped onto the sofa beside Edward Scissorhands.

When the day reached the hour of eleven a.m., Kitty woke up to Winry standing over her, poking her with a wrench. Kitty opened her eyes wider to observe the clock on the wall. She then turned her attention back to Winry.

"So, have a nice sleep?" Winry asked.

"Yeah... How's Ed Doing?" Kitty yawned.

"He's doing fine. He just finished with the surgery an hour ago. He’s sleeping now." Winry smiled.

"Oh that’s a relief." she sighed.

"Yup, he survived! But he won't be able to move around for about two days. The old process of this surgery caused the healing time longer. It used to take two to three years before a patient could move, but since we created an easier surgery, the process healing time decreased rapidly as you can see."

"So then that means we can leave in two days?"

"Yes!"

"Oh no, now I have to find a hotel to stay at..." Kitty sighed.

"Oh, don’t worry! You can stay out my place for two days! Same with Edward Scissorhands, too! And I'll also show you around town if you'd like! Oh, and tomorrow Ed's coming in for a repair, so you get to meet him!"

"That's great! I get to see your town. I've been wanting to do that for a while now. And I'd love to meet your Ed! I'm sure he's very kind since he's your friend." Kitty smiled.

"Yeah, he is kind. In his own way I guess. That's why I love him..."

"Your in love? That's great. Two foolish girls in love with Ed! Ha! We were meant to be friends." they both smiled.

"So you said you wanted to view the town right? Well let's get to it! And Edward, you can come along, too." Winry smiled.

Winry left Edward under Garfiel's care. All three of them walked out of the shop. They walked along the sidewalks passing into shops and cafes along the way. After a full day of shopping and sight seeing, they returned to the automail shop where they had left Edward.

Winry went into the room to check on Edward. He was fast asleep and his I.V. was still connected, and his pulse was normal. She left the room.

"Can I see him?" Kitty asked.

"I'd probably have to say no. He's had a long day, and needs sleep. Let's wait until tomorrow. You can stay in my room tonight. And Edward can stay in the guest room across from Garfiel's." Winry yawned.

"Alright then..." Kitty sighed.

Kitty and Edward followed Winry up the stairs to the rooms. Winry showed Edward to his room. Once Edward was comfortable, she left him alone to sleep. Then she and Kitty went to her room.

Winry's room was tiny. It had automail designs hung up on her walls. Her desk was lined with doctor books and mechanical references. Kitty was amazed at how much Winry put her heart & soul into her automail studies.

Winry pulled out a mattress from underneath her own bed. She put sheets on it and fluffed some pillows as well. She laid a blanket over the mattress and smiled at Kitty.

"All done! Here's where you can sleep for tonight." Winry said.

"Thank you. I really appreciate this." Kitty smiled as she laid down on the soft mattress.

As soon as Kitty's head touched the soft cotton pillow, she was out like a light. She dreamt of Edward. They were both in a park sitting together on a bench. Kitty moved her hand onto Edward's knee and kissed him. Right when they were kissing, Kitty pulled back.

"You're breath stinks, Ed!" Kitty yelled as she bombed Ed's mouth with Tic Tacs.

When they were about to kiss again, Kitty was woken by a soft hand on her shoulder. She opened her eyes and saw Winry standing above her... again.

"Rise and shine sleepy head!" Winry sang.

"What time is it...? Kitty asked.

"It's about twelve p.m. You've slept in a while. Edward's here."

"My Edward or your's?"

"My Edward's here! He just got here a while ago. I want you to meet him, so hurry up and get dressed!" Winry jumped.

Kitty hurried up and got dressed into her clothes. She knocked on Edward Scissorhand's door to see if he was still asleep, which of course he was. She skipped Edward and ran down stairs to meet Winry's friend.

She reached the bottom of the stairs and saw Winry. Standing next to her was a boy with long blonde hair. He wore it in a braid. He was wearing black clothes and a red jacket. He turned around and smiled at her.

"Hey! Name's Edward. Heard good things about you." the boy said.
