Grwar. It's friggin' 3am. And I can't get to sleep. =0 I keep thinking sum damn snipper's in my house. Gahh.. I've been watching too many horror films lately. x[
But anyway while I'm up I should post about what I've been up to lately...
Well I've finished watching all the Eyeshield 21 episodes that I could get my hands on, and I've started watching the GinTama anime that I put on pause about half a year ago. I also have been reading the Bleach manga, since the damn fillers are becoming more and more stupid each waking moment. And I've finally been able to get Angel Sanctuary volume 18! ::throws left over new year's confetti:: It took forever but I found the damned thing! x] So I finished reading that a couple hours ago. ::whee::
Also I started talking to a few old friends again, too. Like my ex-girlfriend and my friend John. I've also been talking to my friend Top and Matt alot too. =D On Wednesday I'm planning on going to the mall with Top and John. Perhaps see the Simpson's Movie, ne? =]
But besides that, my dad kindda pulled a Houdini [sp?] on us [again]. We can't get in contact with him or anything. It's like he friggin' vanished from the face of the earth. I hate when he does this... =[
So I guess I'ma go sit up in bed and read or sumthin. I'll visit ya'll later when I get the chance. =D

Sunday, July 22, 2007 @ 10:35pm [EST CST] Back From Otakon! >=D I had lyk da best time eba down thar. Okay so my week sucked [last week]. But the best part started on Thursday morning when we left for Baltimore, meaning Otakon. So we got there by evening, and when we saw the convention center, it was packed on all sides with pre-registered people. Since my parents were retarded and didn't let me get pre-reg, I had to get there at 5:30am on Friday to be sure I got in at a decent time. But my feet hurt real bad. =[ So Friday was kick ass, 'kay? I was able to find a Yoruichi plush [::insert fanboy squee::], I waited in a fucking 3 hour long line to meet Vic Mignogna and Aron Dismuke. I was excited to meet them, really, I was. But Aron needs to get a personality check. He sucks. And poo to all you Aron fans. >=P And when we were waiting for / fighting for Vic, Funimation announced that they licensed Ouran High School Host Club. Oh the noez ::sob::. So after waiting forever for Vic, we basically went home. On Saturday we had to get to my friend Meg's D.Gray-Man photo shoot since she was cosplaying as Rabi. I got pics of them all! XD My fav one was with all of the Allens cowering at the hands of the two General Cross[s]. After the photo shoot she ran down to get the Godzilla dood's autograph for her sister. I got to roam around into the Otachan center and make a Meowth thingy. x] Such fun. Also on Saturday I got to get Fred Gallagher's autograph [::insert fanboy squee::]. And I got to get a pin set with Junpei and Largo!! XD We also got to go into the Artist Alley. Surprisingly, I found a bunch of Eyeshield 21 art. x] So I stocked up. Speaking of Eyeshield 21, there were, I guess, two Eyeshield 21 cosplayers there. They were cosplaying as Ishimaru and Komosubi. But I didn't get to see them... T_T And Sunday was basically a broke day after spending all of my money... =0 So pardon me for not visiting your sites in a while. I can't remember when the last time I posted was... x[ But anyway, since I last posted nothing has speacial has happened. Counting down the days to Otakon. ::joygasm:: I haven't gotten out of the house much, except for having to go to work. =[ And that's not all that fun. Oh yeah, does the site look okay? I'm trying to get it together for Jungy's site contest. [for contest, visit link in nav] But I think it was on Wednesday that there was a huge thunder storm up where I live. Our electricity went out for 3 hours or so. I was so fortunate as to be home alone at the time. x[ Just my luck, eh? So to pass time I sa in the hallway with the most [but very minimal] light in the house coming from the hallway window. And I sat there and read Hikaru no Go, One Piece, and Trinity Blood. x[ I was so bored. And I think I killed my eyes. Anyway, recently I've been trying to catch up to Japan on the Eyeshield 21 episodes. I'm on episode 90 I think. Just like 20 more or so I think. Last I saw it was up to episode 112. =0 Since I've been watching Eyeshield 21 alot recently, I've been getting annoyed with it, too. [SPOILERISH RANT SECTION] I find it amusing that when the Deimon team went to America, everyone in America were so fluent in Japanese. Wtf? I know I'm not fluent in Japanese! And they kindda make Americans out to be tough and sorta stupid people. T_T Not only did that annoy me, but the episode dedicated to the last two seconds of the Poseidon vs Devil Bats game amused me as well. I love how they can make 2 seconds seem like 5 minutes. x] Speaking of Poseidon, that bitch Kakei really annoyed me, too. I got so annoyed by the guy I had to draw a mean comic about him. I've never gotten so angry at a character that I had to draw an angry comic about them. Never! So the comic wasn't too nice. I also had to draw a mean comic about football players always tackling poor Sena. It's like a free rape-fest. =0 lol And the only other thing I can say that truly annoys me is Riku. I dislike him and his resemblance to Toshiro. >=0 [END OF SPOILERISH RANT SECTION] So other than that nothing much has been going on. Just waiting for Otakon as patiently as possible. How was everyone's holiday week? Good I asume. Mine was eventful you could say. We caught my shed on fire with bottle rockets, fire crackers, and sparklers. But we swear it was an accident! No one was hurt [except for a few spiders]. Well also This week I had to read volumes 4-7 of the Yu-Gi-Oh first series. x[ It was really bad. I wouldn't recomend it. I had to read it for my friend Meg. I had to read that and the first two volumes of One Piece. Oh and I got to download the Bleach Beat Collection. Or at least most of them anyway. The only one's I didn't get were Ukelala, Grimmjow, and Aizen. =[ But I want them the most... Speaking of Meg, we met up today and saw a movie. We first went to her house and we were bidding on her D.Gray-Man Black Order badge for her cosplay. Then we had to travel downtown to this old Asian theatre that was probably founded in the 60's. We saw Paprika. And OMG was it awesome. I was amazed by the animation. And the music was wonderful, too. x] Anyone know where I can download the soundtrack from [besides limewire]? Anyway, Paprika was not dubbed in English, wich is probably the major reason why I liked it so much. I love original Japanese VA's. They're just better than most English ones [no offense]. I also just liked the random gayness of it all. It was overall awesome. And fawk the critics who give it bad reviews. =p They say it's confusing 'cause they're too simple minded. But after the movie we got to go to an ice cream shop and get smoothies/ice cream. x] So today wuz lyk ttly awesome for me. And we also got to play her DS's JUMP Ultimate Stars game, too. x] I wunt 1 now. I wish I had a mini Gintoki who constantly tripped over himself... Oh and does anyone watch Prince of Tennis? I was thinking about getting into that... Anyone recomend it? =0 !WARNING BITCH RANT! So today I also checked on TheOtaku.com's homepage. I saw that they posted the final set for the Hare Hare Yukai dances. That's great. But they used my picture again. x[ I wish they'd stop... There's so many other Haruhi works on this site. Use them instead of that damned picture. Or at least ask, meh? I dunno... I'm weird I guess. I just don't like my art being used for things I don't really know about... I'm posting... Again! [wow...] Though I doubt most of you will pay attention to this [a week from now I'll look back on this and lol xp], I felt like updating. Umm... Today's my two year anniversary on MyOtaku under the name EdwardElricThe2nd, if anyone cares. :] But anyway, who cares, right? Since I've last updated, my otaku life has been filled with joy! First of all on Sunday I downloaded Naruto the Movie 3! Rock Lee and Naruto were beast. >=] And I was also able to find the opening/ending/insert songs for ES21! >=D Fawk yeah betch. Just being able to get Blaze Away on my iPod made my life I think. I also got Tsubomi [sp?] and Home Sweet Home on my iPod, too. x] And on Monday I ordered pizza. And worked. And it sucked. Tuesday was sweet, 'cause I got to sleep in until 3pm. And then I got to go out to Barnes & Noble to see if they had updated their selection. Lyk omfg, Barnes & Noble actually had new releases! It's like God loved me on Tuesday! x] So I got Ichigo 100%, GinTama, Lines, Trinity Blood [3], and Tactics. Later I got to watch Naruto the Movie 1. It was cool. The second one this week! >=D I think the world I just about doomed, ja? Well anyway, life's sucked ass since I last updated. Yay! Just wanting to say one thing before I get started on the post: Anyone who's up to date on the Bleach anime [seiyuu], who agrees that they need to kill teh filler? On with the post... Well let's see... Yesterday I was having a long depression. I haven't really had one of those in a while... But thank God for Eyeshield 21, eh? =D Anime cheered me up. Until I got sick from eating something I most likely wasn't meant to eat... =[ So this morning/afternoon I spent organizing my book/manga collection. I started at 1pm and ended at 4pm. =0 I have to many... Speaking of which, Friday night I went to Barnes & Noble and was amazed to see that they finally got volume 6 of Death Note! Zomgwtfbbq yay! That meant that my collection was finally complete. After months of searching for that single volume I found it! I even went to the trouble to look in three book stores in Florida for the damn volume. But when I was skimming through the ads in Death Note volume 12 I saw that Gintama and Ichigo 100% was finally out. Yosh! I'm tired of reading the crap fan scans online. It's hurting my eyes from staring at the monitor too long... x[ So that's basically what's up. Oh yeah I also got to see the movie Dodge Ball for the first time. ::lmao:: It was highly amusing. x] Oh, and here's a treat that I normally don't do! Alls I have to say is 'Damn you, Matsuda'. But anyway, this past week I can't say I've done anything all that exciting. I've started watching the Eyeshield 21 anime rather than go on a hunt for the manga [to big a hassle]. I'm on episode 24. I expected to go faster than this.. =0 Also I got into an anime similar to Tenchi Muyo, but more.. um.. perverted[?]. It's called Amaenaideyo!! Also It's been hot as frick these past couple nights. D= I can't seem to be getting any sleep...::sob:: So that's basically all I've been up to [I think].Oh yeah! I remembered somthing eventful about this past week... I failed Science. D= So rather than taking summer school I have to take Science 9 and Biology next year instead of painting and ceramics. My art can be put aside for a year I'd think. =[ So I'm gonna go I guess. I've returned from what seemed to be a never-ending birthday vacation. I think about a week ago I went to Walt Disney World for my birthday on Sunday. I was excited for the trip itself, but not who I was going with. My dad went with us and was a fucking nag/bitch the whole time. Trying to be a 'dad' with telling us to eat right, and don't eat cake and brownies and shit like that. He was just so annoying. We had to do everything he wanted, and he ate every goddamn thing in sight. And he was just non stop bickering. So as you can imagine, I didn't get to do ANYTHING I wanted to do for my birthday besides going to Ohana to see Stitch and Lilo. So on my actual birthday, I went to the breakfast buffet with my brother and mom. Before I went down there, I drew a picture with Lilo and Stitch on it, hoping they'd sign it. So when the characters came around they signed my picture and wished me a happy birthday. =D My brother and I also got birthday cards and cupcakes from the resturaunt [sp?]. Then we went over to the Magic Kingdom, and went to Cinderella's wishing well where my grandfather last sang happy birthday to us [when he was alive]. After that we went over to Epcot, and then everyone was dragged around by Dad and did everything he wanted to do. And he also ate a larger-than-my-head turkey leg right before we went to a buffet dinner. OMG who the hell eats a massive piece of meat before a buffet dinner!? So as you can imagine, dinner sucked horribly. Father's day stuff was going on left and right, and my dad wasn't even speaking because he didn't like how it was a 'family' dinner. He didn't enjoy any of the little kids dancing around with their dads or anything. So that tore me apart for the rest of the day. My dad is nothing like any of the other dads. And last night when we were supposed to leave for Pittsburgh at 9:00pm, they moved our flight back to 12:55am, so we didn't get in until 3:30am. I didn't get to sleep until 5:30am. So that was my 'fun' vacation. But thank God I'm back. I couldn't survive another day down there. First I went to the movies with my friend Meg. We got to see POTC3 [again]. Last time I didn't get to see the end credits, but this time I was able to. ::lol:: I wasn't sure if 'it' was a boy or a girl at the end. I thought I saw it wearing a dress... XD But anyway, yesterday I spent the whole day watching Pokemon and old movies from my childhood. Like when I woke up, they had all the original Pokemon episodes on [¢¾], and then I decided to watch the Pokemon Movie [1], Pikachu's Pikaboo, Camp Pikachu, etc, etc. And I also... ::embarassed to speak:: watched... The Swan Princess. DX Oh gawd that's not right. But yeah, I watched that, too. It was amusing. lolerz. I also was disapointed that I didn't get to see any awful [OMG FUCKING WRTECHED] Bleach dub last night. =[ I live for the days I can mock the English Bleach cast. It's not fair... But I still enjoyed watching the Futurama Marathon or whatever. But anyway, back to what I was originally meant to post about... Since I'm feeling better, and not being all EMO, I'm planning on judging ppl's work for the Sasunaru FC's Fan Art. Okay, one of my questions/concerns/annoyances: WHEN PPL SUBMIT FOR THE CONTEST, WHY IS IT THAT NO ONE PUTS SNFC!?!? It's just really annoying me. I'm seeing a few of the SasuNaru Contest entries, but I'm confused if they're for our contest or not! And I know it said in the rules, that if it's not marked as SNFC, then we're not judging. But I'm such a freakin' softy, I wanted to make sure that everyone who really wanted to enter had a chance. DX And notice we're being leniant on the due date. We extended it to around a week. So ppl, for godsake, enter ur art and put SNFC...! Okay so that's what I wanted to get off of my chest.
