SCHOOL CLOSING!!!!!
Yep my college was cancelled at 5:00 am today. There is SNOW EVERYWHERE! This morning about 6:00 the power went out (we kept hearing our printers turning back on and the fire dectors in each room beeping) My sister and I were like, "What is going on?" Then we looked out our window and all you could see was WHITE. I couldn't see anything farther than a block!
Then one of my friends came to our room and he was like, "SCHOOL'S CANCELLED!" Other people started flowing out of their rooms and were like, "really?"
It would have sucked if they had school still, but every school in Lincoln (where I live) is closed. That's like 5 colleges, 6 high schools, and tons of middle and elementary schools. That's not including the private schools are here either. And what's even more crazy is that the interstate is CLOSED!!! Yeah we got hit pretty bad with that snow storm.
My dorm didn't have power for about an hour. It may not be long, but you have no heater and no lights at 6:00 in the morning and it's cold outside and still very dark out. People were trying to use the bathroom and well everything else. You'd probably have to eat in the dinning hall in the dark. CRAZY!!! Well that's my story for the day! ^_^
