   Greetings, Earthlings!

Well, thanks to my buddy Jaxx I finally got me some music up and running. (Please be patient with the loading, heh.) Hopefully this doesn't slow my site down too much... Well, in other news, I've got a new theme in the works. It's about 80% finished. I only needed a few more details, which I was able to get when I came online. I'll finish it sometime in the week. Oh! I'm going camping tomorrow, so I'll only be back Sunday night. I know, it's a short stay by the river... basically one night only. ACK! It's going to be so COLD...    Sunday.

Nothing much happening really. Gaia's having some problems, as usual, so I thought I'd pop in for a post early. ... ..... My life snucks. In terms of interresting things happening, at least. ...    Whoooooo...

Yarrrrg...

That was horrid. I spent the entire day cleaning out my room... Not pretty. I've never really paid much attention to my room. I sleep there. That's it. So. I had a bit of a challenge today... Wooden floors are a bitch to keep clean. -_______-+ Now all that's left is my closet. But I'm putting my foot down. It's dark outside, damnit! They can't expect me to keep working, can they? Heck no. No one's here, anyway. XD Home alone... Oh the silence. The sweet, yet undeniably creepy silence. *Pumps up teh volume* YEAH! ROCK ON!!!

The Music

Darn... I guess I should've posted earlier. (Not that I have anything interresting to say...) Recently I've been having one helluva time getting music up on my site. As soon as I get really exited about a song that fits with my theme, something goes wrong. ... I'd hoped that I would be able to put up The Last Train Home by The Lost Prophets, but it doesn't seem to be working. Again. I don't know why, but the song makes me think of the last chapter of HBP. I've darkened the site in my petty little attempt to honour the memory of a certain recently-deceased wizard. And that's my bit for today. ... I've been catching up on my weekend Quizz quota, and it's actually pretty interesting when I start comparing the reaults my username gets with the results of my given name. I guess they reperesent the two parts of me... I'm sometimes a whole other person online. I guess this proves it.    Oh, the Crap that is School.

Well, Monday was the start of the new term for me over here. School still sucks. Believe me. I checked. This was not a good week for me, even if it did have it's good points... Yes Mercurian Adept, I finished HBP Monday after school. No, I'm not telling you anything. XD I found out that honours for academics will be harder to achieve than I first thought... 85% is quite the task for me. I'm close to saying that I don't have a chance now. That kinda bummed me. HBP wasn't what I expected... I guess I should have waited before I started, instead of jumping in Sunday afternoon. Oh well. It's too late now. I'll just have to re-read it. The last two days at school were blissfully quiet with the teachers and students all getting ready for the grade 7 students who were coming to check out our school Thursday afternoon. I must say, all those exibits they put up in the school hall makes the school look heavily cooler than we actually are. 0_______0 So Thursday and this weekend turned out to be relatively homework-free. BooYA.

   MERLIN'S BEARD!

..... The launch was today. It went relatively quietly, with me staying at home in fear that I would waste my money on a copy of HBP. Spent the day alone. Waiting for everyone to come home... And now. 9:30PM My mom walks in the door. WITH A COPY OF HALF-BLOOD PRICE! ZOMHFG! Thank you, Mom! I never thought I'd get my own copy this soon... I'm absolutely extatic! ... Here! Have the smexiest James pic I could find. I swear I'd start reading right now if I wasn't so tired... I'm over the 12hours awake mark... I just can't get my thoughts together to figure out exactly how long it's been... *Twitch* *Breaks out in a Happy Dance*

   Hellooooo!

Only a few hours untill the launch of HBP... I'm all exited. Not that I'm going anywhere, but hey. I might make it into Cape Town tomorrow, even though it might be best if I not go. I promised myself I would wait untill the book got cheaper before I did anything... It's just so darn tempting! T____T I've got enough money, I just don't want to waste my savings if I could save it. So. I think I'm staying tomorrow. Yup. Can you believe the launch made it to the cover of the newspaper? Go figure. An anouncement that everyone's welcome. You will now officially be allowed in if you're wearing your pajamas. WORD. XD Exclusive books will only be open for an hour though... so I guess I'd miss it anyway. ...Wow. I seem obsessed, don't I?    Hell YES.

Today was nice. We went to Cape Town for the day, and Elske got a chance to spazz out some money for a change. ...I can dig it. XD I finally got my paws on my first Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards! I'm jumping up and down here! I had to fork out R35 for a pack of only 13 cards, since that's all I could afford. Now... let's see... R35 is roughly... $5.19. 0_________0 That doesn't sound like much now, does it? Well, it is to me, sice that's about 35% of my allowance right there. Of course, I'll never be able to afford a booster pack, but that's another sad story alltogether. I'm poor. WORD. Of course, I've never been able to find a shop that sells Manga is Canal Walk, so that was also not something that I could put on my list... But I did buy my first Terry Pretchett book! I decided in Pyramids, and I can't wait to get started on it tomorrow. I'll probably finish it in a day, but what the heck. I just love that man's work. (The books are nice and short for the read-shy people too... please try to check it out!) XD For now, Elske is a happy girl. One that's off to see why the Hell Jaxx managed a post. Cheers! ...
