I forgot to mention in my last post, that after I bought my new coat, I stopped at the Claire’s store because I wanted to buy new earrings. It was here that I saw Pirates of the Caribbean chapstick. Allow me to repeat that, Pirates of the Carribean chapstick. WTF? I mean…what? Huh? Why? When Jack Sparrow was deserted on that island I don’t recall him having chapstick. I think Disney went a little overboard with the merchandising for the 2nd movie.
I finished the inking of my drawing for the Halloween contest. I get to color it now. Sa-weet! My favey part. But I have to go back to work tomorrow. Boo. I don’t feel like counting money! I’d rather be home coloring. *pouts in corner* Ah well, getting paid is a good thing but I should have the drawing done at least by early next week.
Oh, I forgot to mention that when I closed the vault the other night at the casino, I was out in the parking lot scraping the frost off my car, *grumbles about how much I hate winter and the cold* and it’s pretty dark in the parking lot and it was about 3:15 in the morning and I suddenly see this dark figure walking towards me. I froze and went into panic-ready-to-bolt-mode and then I realized…it was my brother! Lol! He’s the food manager at the same casino I work at and had just gotten out too. Oh man, I was relieved because it truly freaked me out. I need a strapping, strong, handsome security guard to walk me to my car at night…heh heh.
Scwee! I love this picture of Yuki! I like how out of it he is in the morning and I loved this part in the manga too because that’s when Yuki was awoken by his fellow classmates on the class trip and once he rolled out of bed, he proceeds to run into the wall. Lol! The prince ain’t too graceful in the A.M.

Thanks for the cards and well wishes and such for my Otaku anniversary! Most thought I’d been here longer then 2 years. Nope, *gets out pointer stick* the proof is right there in my profile thingy on the left. It tells people how long the person has been a member here.
I went coat shopping today. How exciting. I love my old coat black peacoat, wanna know why? Because it’s the EXACT same coat that Yuki wears in the anime and in the manga! Lol! It’s just a coincidence we have the same coats, I assure you but I wanted a new coat because I wanted one that was longer. I found an awesome full-length black peacoat and bought it. I’m really tall and thin so this coat looks super hot on me...lame pun intended.
Aaaaaaand today, I got 3 more characters drawn for the Otaku Halloween art contest. It’s pretty challenging because the rules if you’re doing a drawing is, that you have to draw an anime character dressed as another anime character. Doesn’t sound too tough, right? Well, the thing with anime characters is, what separates them from one another is their hair and clothes! Their faces are pretty similar so it’s tough to dress one character as another and still make them look like themselves...but not. I think I pulled it off though with my drawing but I probably wont have it done till next week for you guys to see for yourselves.^^
Quote of the Day comes from the movie, Adams Family Values:
*While waiting in hospital waiting room for their mom to have a baby*
Young Girl: ...and then Mommy kissed Daddy, and the angel told the stork, and the stork flew down from heaven, and put the diamond in the cabbage patch, and the diamond turned into a baby!
Pugsley: Our parents are having a baby too.
Wednesday: They had sex.

I didn’t jinx myself in my last post when I said I’d be out of work by around 3am because I actually was done by 3am. Sa-weet! It’s only because I perfectly balanced the vault at the end of the night so my supervisor and I didn’t have to go on a massive hound hunt to find the errors.
Heh, I came to the conclusion that I enjoy telling people I work in a vault. Mostly because it makes me feel like Uncle Scrooge from DuckTales. Remember that giant money vault he had and he used to dive into his mountain of money from that diving board placed by the entrance? Oh man, they should build a diving board to the vault at the casino I work at. That would be a fun way to start a work day.
Oh, snap! I just realized today is my 2 year anniversary here on Otaku! *hands out Reeses Peanut Butter cups and mochas to everyone* I accept forms of presents in Yuki, Inuyasha, Tamaki, Kaoru, Kenshin, Sasuke, Ritsuka, Soubi, Train, Link, Cloud, Dark, Legolas, Jack Sparrow, or Kadaj form. *waits patiently at end of driveway by mailbox*
I enjoyed my day off today. I slept in, finished a book, drew a couple characters for my Halloween art contest piece, and watched the movie, Ringu. I know Ringu was made before The Ring and people always told me that Ringu was scarier…I didn’t think so. It was good though but not as scary.
AH! I loved this part in Ouran!! *pets Tamaki*

Again, it's after midnight and I'm still here at work. I'm getting mighty sleepy. I should be out by 3am for sure tonight though since I'm in the easier vault...I'm trying not to jinx myself again. Hee...I remeber when kevmart83 asked me if I was a drug dealer because I was sitting in a room full of over half a million dollars in cash and was allowed to browse on the internet.XD No, I'm not a drug dealer or else all this money would be for me and not the casino.
Anyway, I have the next 3 days off and I'm hoping to finish a drawing for the Otaku Halloween contest. I'm excited to do it.^^
Oh, I forgot to mention here at work that I met 2 other people who like anime! Hee! It all started when one of the girls saw my watch(which is an Animaniacs watch) and then she said that she used to love that show but watched anime now. A few days later, we were discussing Inuyasha and I was complaining about how that anime was 167 episodes long and it had such a terrible, disapointing ending and one of the young security guards overheard us and then he told us he loved anime too. Haha...amazing how we find one another, neh?
I found this caption and needed to share it once again. My friend, Tyler made this for me after he found out my all-time favorite anime character was Yuki and I'm slightly obsessed with him...okay, not slighty obsessed, super duper extreme ultra obsessed. There, I admitted it.^^ Anyway, caption he made:

So, how many of you are on Fall break? Or have one coming up soon? And when the heck did they come up with the idea of a “fall break?!” *goes into old granny mode* Back when I was a kid, Fall break didn’t exist. You started school in the fall and your next day off wasn’t till Thanksgiving. Feh! I’m so jealous. Do people even need a Fall break? Didn’t school like, just start for most of you maybe a month ago? *grumbles since I still have to go to work*
Anyway, I finally got to watch the final episode of Ouran High School Host Club. I had to wait to see my friend, Tyler to give them to me since he’s the one who has the cable modem. You should have seen the fancy-pants DVD case he made up for it too. He even printed me out stickers of all the characters! Ain’t that cute?! Tyler liked that anime too, despite the suggestive yaoi moments.XD Anyway, good ending. I wont spoil it for those who haven’t seen it but it ended well. It certainly was a dramatic last 2 episodes which I just KNEW they were going to do. It’s like Fruits Basket, that anime is pretty funny and light-hearted but, oh man, those last 2 episodes were over the top emotional and Ouran started diving into that as well. I like how they pretty much show you which guy Haruhi chooses to be with. That made me grin.^____^…see? Grinny face.
Oh, and I watched the horror movie, The Village. Ehhhhh…that movie was, interesting, to say the least. I predicted that entire ending a mile away though. I guess I’m just too smart for my own good…or have no life and have nothing better to do then guess endings to movies I should be enjoying.>_>
Quote of the Day:
“A good friend will pick you up when you fall. A best friend will laugh and trip you again.”

So, on my last post, I had estimated that I would be done with work by about 3:30am…heh, I jinxed myself with that thought. I didn’t clock out of work till 4:50 in the morning. Oiy, I was beat. I had Monday off which was good but then I had to be up in the morning on Tuesday to go into orientation for 8 hours.>_<
Anywho, tonight, I met up with my pals, Gavin and Tyler and we went and saw the movie, Employee of the Month. We thought it was hilarious despite the bad reviews. I mean, one has to expect this movie isn’t going to have a complex storyline or anything and it’s going to be full of lame humor…which it did but it had some of the best one-liners and all of us has worked in retail before so we understand more-so the humor of it all.
Oh, and do you guys remember that super-hot bartender I talked about the other day that had called me, Sweetie? Well, he was at the orientation as well and I got to talk to him for a little bit while we had to introduce ourselves to people and throughout the day, he would talk up and ask the speaker questions or make comments, etc. And it was because of this, I realized something…he’s a big doofus. And then I saw the biggest turn off EVER… he’s a smoker. Bleh! Smoking is so dirty. So not only is he stupid but he smokes too so yeah, I have zero interest in him now. He’s still eye-candy but that’s about it.
Oh, and I was telling that story about the hot bartender I found out was a doof to Gavin and Tyler and they thought it quite amusing. But then Gavin asks, “So, I have a question for you…if you met a hot elf BUT he was a doofus and a smoker, would you still want him?” Oh man, such a conundrum!! I explained to him that first off, elves don’t smoke and second…they aren’t doofuses either but I went along with the question and after a little thought, to my dismay, that yes, I’d still want him. Lol! My morals can be so low sometimes.

Glad that you guys understand why I'm taking the Question of the Day away...total rhyming right there...if you're dying to know why I'm taking away the daily questions, then you can skim my last post. I'll probably post a good quote now and again though because quotes can be ever-so amusing.
Anywho, I'm at work right now. Yep, at 12:05am.>_< I'll be here till around 3:30 in the morning. I have tomorrow off though! Whee! Well, today when most read this. It's been slow tonight here at the casino so less work for me! Yosh!
One of the security guards is making me laugh. In the room I work in, there's a window in which a guard will sit there and watch you...creepy? Yes. However, most guards will play with their cell phones or cruise on the computers and what-not rather then actually stare at me for 10 hours which isn't too entertaining. Anyway, this one guard is reading a newspaper, and he cut 2 eyeholes in it. lol! It's like a corn-ball private-eye cartoon. Everytime I look up at him, he'll hold up his paper and bug his eyes out so it's hilarious looking at a newspaper with 2 huge eyeballs looking at me. I think this also helps show how much free time these guys have to play.^^ And yes, he's doing it just to be stupid, he's not trying to be seriously conspicuous or anything.XD
Tip of the Day:
If you frequently have the urge to run around naked, take a dose of Windex. It will keep you from streaking.

Thank you to the people who looked at my latest drawing and commented. *hugs* The thumby is below if someone wants to look:
I’ve decided to get rid of the Question of the Day. I originally started doing it because I thought I’d enjoy some of the responses. Which I did, but…it was most obvious in my last post, I got over 75 comments but only about half of which actually took a look and commented on my drawing, most just answered the question of the day, and left. So, bye bye question of the day! I’d rather get 20 comments from people who actually gave a hoot about my life then 70+ comments in which many show no interest in anything I have to say.
Ha! I sound like Yuki Sohma..can’t tell friend from suck-up.XD
Anywho, I’ve had a tough few days. I found myself staying an additional 2 hours at work the past 3 days. That’s 12 hours a day I’m spending at my job since my work days are already 10 hours. The overtime pay will be nice but damn, I want a life again. After work, I come home, have something to eat, take a shower, read a little, and then it’s time for bed in which I get up the next day to do it all over again. Bah.
But one of the good things about work…there are a few really cute bartenders and since I’m the banker, I get to give them their money and such and it’s a small plus in my day. One of the guys, who is mega-hot with a beautiful smile and I think was flirting with me, handed me his end-of-the-day paperwork and says, “Here you go, Sweetie.” Boy-howdy! *fans self*

I finished the art trade with CERM and here it be, you can just click the thumby:
Keep in mind those characters are CERM’s characters, not mine. I just drew them for her in chibi form. CERM is probably going to bonk me because we told each other we wouldn’t go hard-core with it…and I went hard-core with it. Lol! Sorry, CERM but after I drew them in I was like, ”I MUST put them in a field…WITH flowers…AND make a sky, dangit!” So yeah, if you guys could take a look at it and comment, I’d be pleased…especially since chibis are not something I work with often.
Oh, and I wanted to show CERM’s drawing she did for me of my OC characters:
Ain’t it cute?! And keep in mind, that is HER drawing! I know how some of you skimmers are and will say something about me drawing both of them…then again, the skimmers might miss this too.XD Anyway, the drawing on top is mine and the drawing under that one is hers.
Nothing much else going on. I had a hair appointment today. Just a trimmy trim. Gotta keep my locks long! And I rented a bunch of movies and I just finished X-Men 3. Where the hell is Nightcrawler in that movie?!
Question of the Day: What kind of hair style do you have?
My Answer: I have long and straight hair and it’s layered too.

In my last post, when I mentioned Sarah Brightman as the original Christine from The Phantom of the Opera, I was amazed how many of you were like, “Oh yeah, she was great in that movie.” Ehhhh…*eyebrow twitches* The Phantom of the Opera movie is based on the Phantom of the Opera Broadway musical so I was referring to the Broadway show, rather then the movie. It made me chuckle though because it reminded me of the FoxTrot comic series where the one girl was in love with Legolas and didn’t realize that the Lord of the Rings movie was based on a book.XD
I’m feeling snackish. I want some spicy nacho Doritos more then anything! Waaah! Yeah, I’m still limited to what I can eat from my surgery since the stitches still remain in the front of my mouth. The ones towards the back have already dissolved away. I really want cereal and chips. Ah well, I think I’ll have some ramen. That’s soft and yummy…but which flavor do I want? Oh man, the choices in life!!
Today, I worked on the art trade with CERM. I’m hoping to have it done by Tuesday. She drew my original character in chibi form so I’m drawing her original characters in chibi form.^_^
Oh, and I read more of the Café Kichijouji De manga series. Man, that manga is so funny. It’s like Ouran High School Host Club meets Looney Tunes.^_^
Question of the Day is actually going to be a quote. Ha! And it comes from the Café Kichijouji De manga:
*Minagawa, a character who loves being creepy and doing voodoo type works, has attempted to make a spell that would keep certain people from leaving a specific location but it turned out to keep EVERYONE from leaving*
Maki: “What’s wrong, I thought you could pass through?”
Minagawa: “The directional effect seems to have changed.”
Maki: “Huh?”
Minagawa: “In other words, the spiritual intensity amplified by this sardine’s head has produced a side-effect, causing the power originally intended to generate in a bi-directional pattern to overload by producing three-times the normal resistance, thus…”
Taro: “Uhhhhh…could you make that easier to understand?”
Minagawa: “The gist is that I messed up.”
