What?! It’s a Sunday and Elves is updating? The world must be ending. Heh. That’s a lie. No, I didn’t get through all the people who had commented on my site the other day so I took another day off so I could catch up. Man, dial-up kills me! I try not to go more then 2 days in a row without updating because people will literally, PM and e-mail me making sure I’m okay and not dead in a ditch somewhere.XD

Anyway, I have a lot to talk about recently with some job opportunities thrown my way but I’m going to wait since more people are here on the weekdays.
I started a new drawing though. It’s a sequel to one of my earlier drawings…those who stay in tune with my DeviantArt account can probably guess what I’m talking about. I have 4 of the 7 characters drawn so far. Bah…so many…what was I thinking? But it’s a funny drawing. I think I’m going to stick with doing humorous pieces for awhile since people really seem to like me sense of humor when it comes to drawing funny situations with anime characters. Teehee!
And I finished a book today but to my dismay, found out this was the first book of a trilogy. BAH! That sneaky devil, now I’ll have to hunt for the 2nd one and then wait for the 3rd to be released. And I completed my Animaniacs game for Gamecube. Man, I feel so accomplished.^^

Question of the Day…don’t ask why it’s all the way down here: If you were a fighter, what would be your weapon of choice?
My Answer: Stick to my elvish roots, bow and arrow. Totally.

Wow! Thank you all for visiting my friend, Angel! She got 40 visits and 6 pages of Guestbook entries! I think that’s a record for a person updating for the first time. I didn’t even get that many! I think she was a little overwhelmed though because I got an email from her that started with, “OMG, HELP!” Haha! I ran her through though on the most efficient way to visit people and such though since she’s on dial-up as well. So, she will get to all of you who visited her but it may take her a couple days to learn the Otaku process.^^ If you haven’t visited her yet, then please go say howdy since she’s one of my best friends: Suyari.

So today, my friends “dragged” me to go see Pirates of the Caribbean 2 again. Yes, it was really hard to convince me to view that movie a second time…heavy sarcasm. We came to the conclusion that Will Turner was a hamster twice in that movie. First in that rolly cage thingy and then on the wheel type thing. Heehee!
Oh, I forgot to mention that since I’m on dial-up now, I asked my friend, Tyler if he could download me Ouran High School Host Club since I wanted to keep up with the latest episodes since he’s on cable. He agreed and he actually watched episode 15 & 16 and asked me if I had all the ones prior. I told him I did and he asked if he could borrow them because he actually really liked it! He said it was really funny and he liked the style of animation. So you see? Even guys can enjoy this anime although, Tyler said this: “If there’s one thing I’ve learned from watching this show, is that there is no limit to the female imagination.” Haha! Too true.

Okay, today’s Quote of the Day comes from Animaniacs and this is one I used a long time ago but I thought it should be shared again since this truly shows how far this cartoon pushed their sexual reference jokes in a ‘G’ rated show:
Teacher: “We will now move onto sentence structure, first, verbs. Yakko, can you conjugate?”
Yakko: “Who me?” *gasp* “I’ve never even kissed a girl!”
Teacher: “No no no, it’s easy. I’ll conjugate with you.”
Yakko: *waves at camera* “Goodnight, Everybody!”
Teacher: “You don’t understand. Let me go to the board and show you.”
Yakko: *whispers at camera* “Don’t look.”

*Sorry, no picture. Photobucket is being a turd burglar*

Bah, my friends dragged me out of the house again last night so I didn’t get to come onto myO till today. Low-and-behold, 86 comments awaited me. Lol! And I’m glad so many of you liked the quote of the day in my last post. Yes, just one of the many quotes that makes Animaniacs amazing.^_~
Question of the Day: If you were warped into a certain anime, what anime would you want to be in?
My Answer: Ouran High School Host Club. Especially if I could take Haruhi’s place. Yesssss.

GUESS WHAT?! My non-twin, twin, Angel has finally got her site up and running and has updated!! YAY! Actually, she updated Monday but I wasn’t around. Boy, some friend I am. Anyway, I bow down to all of you to go and visit her since this is the first person on myO who’s joining that I know personally and she’s one of my best buds and oh-so awesome so please go visit! Just click her name: Suyari

So, my friends took me to the A&W restaurant. Ever been there? It’s kinda cool because you order your food via a phone that’s at your table. The food was good and cheap. I got a cup of coffee and let me just say, worst. Coffee. EVER! I had to steal some ice cream from my friend, Phil to put in it to taste better. We then went mini golfing at a pirate golf course. Aye, pirate golf course. It was fun and I won. Arrrrrr!
We then went back to my friend, Gavin’s house and a few of them were drinking alcoholic beverages but I did not since I was driving home however, it’s HIGHLY entertaining to be around drunk people. Everyone becomes philosophers when they’ve had one too many. Gavin is convinced that there’s this one water bottle that’s always being ganged up on by the other water bottles and pushed out of the fridge because whenever he opens the door, it’s always this ONE bottle that falls out. Heehee…that amused me.

My back hurts for some reason. I think I pulled a muscle when I started choking on a mocha while watching COPS. I’ve come to the conclusion that I can’t chug liquids. My throat muscles don’t quite cooperate. Feh!
Question of the Day: What’s the last NEW anime that you’ve watched. As in, new to you, it doesn’t have to be a recently released anime.
My Answer: Fushigi Yuugi. I’ve had this series in my possession for awhile but didn’t start it till today. It’s cute!

I got a bunch of mangas the other day. Whee mangas! One of them including Absolute Boyfriend Volume 2. About time the 2nd was released! I don’t like how they’re releasing them 4 months apart. I want the 3rd one NOW but I’m going to have to wait. Phooey. I also got a new Pirates of the Caribbean shirt. It has Jack and Will on it and along the bottom it says, “Never Trust a Pirate.” Good word of advice.
So, I chatted with my friend, Angel the other night and she’s going to start updating her site very soon! YAY! She’s the person I worked with in NYC who’s like my twin except she’s a talented writer while I’m the artist. I found out she’s been reading my posts daily but hasn’t commented on them yet because she didn’t want to start luring people to her site until she was ready. That sneaky monkey ninja. She told me that she has an idea for a fan fiction based on my latest drawing of Tamaki and the twins. Heh heh…that would be dandy. Anywho, I’ll link you all to her site when she updates so you can visit her! She already has many Kakashi Dave stories up her sleeve.XP

Quote of the Day comes from Animaniacs:
*The Warners are helping Michelangelo paint the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel*
Michelangelo: “You’ve ruined it! It is supposed to look like this! *whips out smaller drawing of the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel*
Dot: *covers eyes* “Oh, more naked people!”
Yakko: *looks at drawing* “I wouldn’t go flashing that around if I were you, Mike.” *whispers* “This is a church.”

Man, some of you flip out when I don’t have a question of the day. If I think my post is running too long, then I tend to either get rid of the quote or question of the day or both. Hope that explains why sometimes one or the other is missing once in awhile.^^
Question of the Day: What’s your favorite hair color to see on an anime character?
My Answer: Mostly silver hair. Silver hair means the character is usually cool.^_~

So, a couple of my friends, including Gavin came over today and we watched some Animaniacs on my new DVD set. It was fun. Gavin can sound JUST like Yakko and Wakko. It’s amusing…especially when he makes them say explicit things.XP
Oh, and some may remember how I said that I’m a perfectionist? Well, that holds very true and today is an example of how crazy I am:
In my room, I have my little anime/video game statues posed exactly how I want them to be and my friends know this, so to screw with me, they slightly varied the pose of one of my statues while I was running downstairs to answer the phone. They changed the pose of my Cloud from Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children one. So, I come back upstairs and within 3 minutes, I look at my Cloud statue and go, “All right, who touched my toy?!” Oh man, my pals just cracked up. They didn’t think I notice so quickly and they had truly, barely moved the position of him too. Haha! You see, one of the small things that make me crazy.

Quote of the Day comes from Animaniacs…and this is truly one that they probably couldn’t get away with in children’s cartoons these days:
Beethoven: “I am Ludwig van Beethoven, world famous composer and pianist!”
Yakko: *gasps* “You’re a what?”
Beethoven: “A pianist!”
Yakko: *blows kiss* “Goodnight, Everybody!!”
Beethoven: “But that is what I am, a pianist!”
Yakko: “I think we’ve heard enough out of you!” *proceeds to wash his mouth out with soap*

Jimminy crickets, thank you all for over 18,000 hits! Sheesh!
And thanks to all who commented on my latest drawing! Almost everyone has said this is my best one yet! YAY! People seem to really like the coloring of this one. And a special thanks to Pyrinsomniac who always leaves amazing critiques on my drawings! She always manages to spot every little detail I throw in…like how I kept all 3 of them in their Ouran uniforms. She’s the only one who noticed that!
And if you haven’t seen it yet, I would be ever-so pleased if you check it out. Just click the thumby and it will open in a new window.

Today I went to my grandma’s house. I like going to this grandma rather then my other one because this is the supportive grandma that thinks it’s wonderful that I want to pursue a career in art while the other looks at me as the failure and thinks it’s a mistake I want to do art. Feh! I’ll show her! Anyway, we went out for Chinese food and I got my fave dish which is the Singapore Mei Fun. Yummy yumm. It’s loaded with curry and it has leeks in it too which makes me giggle since most of us know how much Kyou from Fruits Basket hates leeks and how much Yuki enjoys using this to his advantage.XP I like leeks though. My grandma always comments on how thin I am and then when she asks if my parents are feeding me I’m like, “nope, they don’t believe in feeding their young.” I’m kidding, of course.

Quote of the Day comes from Animaniacs, and thanks to raven_fire93 for reminding me of this one:
Yakko: “We protest you calling us ‘little kids!’ We prefer to be called ‘vertically-impaired pre-adults.’”

Sorry! I didn’t mean to not update the past few days. Blame my friends for dragging me out kicking and screaming. I wanted to finish my drawing, dangit! But, I got a chance to finish it today and I just uploaded it so if you would check it out, I would appreciate it! Just click the thumbnail and it will open in a new window:

I had a blast with this drawing and it was my first attempt drawing something from Ouran High School Host Club…and my first attempt at drawing twins. Wasn’t as challenging as I thought. But yeah, just like it says in the drawing description, I’m convinced the twins are Tamaki’s shoulder angel/devil.

So, I got Animaniacs Season 1 on DVD Tuesday!! WHEE!! Actually, my friend Tyler and I went to Wal-Mart at midnight JUST to get Animaniacs. Yes, that’s how insane I am. And the set is 5 DVD’s!!! Yes…FIVE!! Oh-ho-ho *wipes drool* I actually watched Animaniacs while coloring my drawing above. I was entertained and giggling like a nut throughout it too.
Last night, my friends and I went to a bar. I don’t really like bars but there was group trivia night and my pals wanted me to go since they think I’m smart or something. So I went, and got myself an Irish coffee which is basically alcoholic coffee. They put WAY too much alcohol in mine though so it tasted like crap. We ended up getting 3rd place in the trivia contest out of 11 or so groups. Our prize was 2 pitchers of beer. Yeehaw…I hate beer.

Quote of the Day comes from Animaniacs:
Yakko: “Wakko, as king of Anvilania, I appoint you general of the armed forces. Prepare the troops!”
Wakko: *salutes and runs off*
Yakko: “Dot, I appoint you minister of girly things that I don’t understand.”
Dot: “Well, that covers a lot of ground.”

I started a new drawing today. It’s Ouran High School Host Club, and it’s going to be called, Tamaki’s Shoulder Angels. Heehee! Those who know Emperor’s New Groove may get the reference but anywho, I have it all outlined and such and now I just need to color it in. Yesssss…me loves to color.
Question of the Day: If you could spend the day with one anime character, who would it be?
My Answer: Yuki Sohma from Fruits Basket…boy, what a shocker, aye? I just want to sit him down and say, “Okay, tell me how you feel.” Since that boy keeps his emotions bottled up! AH!

I saw the movie Monster House with a bunch of my pals and that move was so good! I was surprised since most CG movies are crap…like what lordsesshomaru and I discussed on messenger…it’s as if most companies just don’t try anymore. But this one was great! The characters moved so life-like it was eerie. But yes, good movie and very funny. My pals started calling me Jenny because the little girl in that movie reminded them of me. Heh.
We then went to a diner and had quite the conversation about what cars Lord of the Rings characters would drive. Yes, we have interested discussions.^_~ We all agreed that Legolas would drive a green Mustang convertible. The hobbits would drive Volkswagen Beetles. Gandalf would have a Buick…the classic car for old folks. And we couldn’t decide if Gimli would drive a Hummer or a Jeep. Both are pretty macho and tough.XP

Quote of the Day comes from my pal, Gavin while playing the boardgame, Sorry:
Gavin: “Curses! I was foiled…like a baked potato!”

Glad you guys like the new theme! Yes, I know, it’s quite bright and such but that’s why I enjoy it. And I will miss the Kadaj theme but I had that one since…March or so. I think I’m allowed to change it.^^ Oh, and my music server stopped being a turd burglar so I got the new music up! Can you recognize it without looking at the Media Player box?^_^

Anywho, I went with my friend, Gavin to this big mall in Syracuse and it was a fun time. I bought a couple pants in the Delia store and I was making my purchases and the clerks and salesgirls were so overly loud and bubbly and flakey and after we left, Gavin turns to me and says, “I think I just got dumber by listening to those girls.” Haha! We then went to get some lunch and I was waiting in the pick-up line for my order and this kid standing next to me was examining something like it was the greatest thing in the world. I look closer at what he’s looking at with such interest and it turns out…it was a spork. I found this amusing and I told Gavin about it and he thought it was hilarious. Gavin then proceeded to impersonate the kid and such. Gavin is amazing at doing voices. He can sound EXACTLY like anyone from Legolas to Mickey Mouse. It’s entertaining.
And I have a word of advice, don’t attempt to drink Mountain Dew that’s been sitting in a hot car all day. Gavin warned me not to do it but I’m daring and did it anyway and boy…it was just…gross. And then Gavin drank some too just because he wanted to try it. His face of revulsion was pretty classic.

And with my last post when I talked about how a bunch of my artwork was stolen freshman year of college, many asked how many were taken. Well, it was from only one class that they stole all my work from and it totaled about 13 original pieces of art they got away with. It was a very devastating experience to say the least and from then on, I’m very untrustworthy of people and leaving my artwork anywhere, hence why it’s mostly only prints that I showcase in public.

Theme change! I’m sure you guys are totally shocked that I made it Ouran High School Host Club.…that was heavy sarcasm in case you didn’t pick that up.XP But I’m pleased with it. It took me quite awhile to make all the graphics and such. I have the perfect music for the theme too but my music server is being a butthead so I guess the true completion to the theme will have to wait. *pouts*
Question of the Day: What’s something embarrassing that’s happened to you?
My Answer: Both my parents were 5th grade teachers and one of the many classes that my mom taught was…puberty. And sure enough, in 5th grade, I had to sit in my mom’s class while she taught us about that. Embarrassing? Yes.

I had an eye appointment this morning. Exciting. I was waiting in the waiting room…a good place to be waiting…and a girl about my age walks in and she was wearing a Pirates of the Caribbean shirt. Aye, I spotted Jack and Will a mile away. As she walked by me I told her how awesome her shirt was and that sparked a small conversation about the awesomeness of those movies.
I think a visit to the eye doctor is nice and easy…except that test where they blow that puff of air into your eye. Gah, I hate that! And I need a new prescription of contacts because I guess the astigmatism in my left eye has gotten pretty bad and apparently, my left and right eye haven’t been working together. Hmmm…that’s interesting, shows how much I noticed that problem.

Oh, and for those who asked, I did not give my original Sasuke, Sex Me drawing to that anime store for judging. I only gave them a print. Keh! I rarely bring the originals with me anywhere. My freshman year of college, ALL my artwork from one of my classes was stolen. No one else’s work was stolen but mine. I was quite upset. My college paid me about $300 for the stolen pieces since it was their fault that they weren’t locked up properly but still, it was sad.
