Boy, I’m already sick of construction. There’s this one road in one of the towns near me that every year, they tear up and re-pave. Every year! C’mon people, just do it right once so you wont have to do it every year!
Question of the Day: What’s a personality trait that annoys you?
My Answer: People who need constant attention. My roomie in NYC was like that, it drove me craaaazy.

My friend, Tyler and I went to a local anime store called Made in Japan. I love this store! They’ve done a lot to it since the last time I was there so it looks uber nice. Tyler bought some Trigun merchandise and I was so excited to see the amount of Gackt albums they had! YAY! And they were only $10.99 too. That’s what I love about this anime store, things are all reasonably priced. I bought 2 albums of his I didn’t have and I also bought a new Inuyasha poster. It’s so pretty and I’ve seen virtually every Inuyasha picture ever created but have never seen this one before and it’s so peaceful and happy and lovely that I had to get it. This anime store also has a monthly art contest where you can win $10 credits to purchase items in the store, so I entered my Sasuke, Sex Me drawing and the owners were dazzled by it so I think I have a good chance of winning.
And since I have my new bookshelf I’m finalizing my room. People who know me, know what a perfectionist I am and I don’t finish projects until they meet my standards. And since my room is my fortress of solitude, I need to make it juuuuust right. And yes, I’ll show you pictures of it since lots of people asked for pictures of me room…you nutters.

Quote of the Day comes from Pirates of the Caribbean:
Mr. Gibbs: “Then, on the fourth day, he roped himself a couple of sea turtles, lashed 'em together and made a raft.”
Will Turner: “He roped a couple of sea turtles?”
Mr. Gibbs: “Aye. Sea turtles.”
Will Turner: “What did he use for rope?”
Jack Sparrow: [from beside them] “Human hair.” [pause] “From my back.”

AH!!! GUESS WHAT MY FRIEND, PHIL TOLD ME?!!! Animaniacs Season 1 is coming out on DVD next week!!! *screeches!!!* Finally!! I’ve seen all sorts of crappy old shows put onto DVD and was wondering when they’d do Animaniacs. *does happy dance*
Question of the Day: What’s your typical breakfast?
My Answer: I don’t like eating breakfast because I always feel sick in the morning for some reason so a small bowl of cereal is all I can handle.

My BBQ party went well. My pal, Gavin(the one who dubbed the Black Pearl from Pirates of the Caribbean the “Ferrari of ships”) came early in the afternoon though just to hang out. He helped me put my new bookcase together too! What a man. While in my room, Gavin saw a booklet from one of my Gackt CD’s and asked me, “What video game is he from?” And I reply, “Who? Gackt?” And he answers, “Yeah, the character on this cover?” And I laughed and go, “That’s not a character, that’s a Japanese singer.” Gavin looked totally dumbfounded and goes, “Wait…he’s real?!” lol! Like I’ve always said, Gackt looks like a video game character brought to life and this confirmed it.
Anywho, like I said, my party went well. We went swimming and watched movies and ate and had some Arbor Mist so it was all dandy! We watched the movie Dawn of the Dead. It was pretty good. The zombies freaked me out. I don't like when they move fast!

Quote of the Day comes from when Gavin and I were playing the video game, Guitar Hero:
*For those who don’t know the game, Guitar Hero is like DDR except…for a Guitar*
Me: *hands Gavin the guitar* “Do you want to sit down while you play so you don’t have to stand?”
Gavin: “Psh, standing is for ROCKERS, sitting is for…Jon Denver.”
Lol…if you don’t know who Jon Denver is…eh, just ask your parents.XP

Man…Tamaki(the tall blonde) looks uber scrumptious here:

Some people seem confused on my last post so I need to revamp…I’m now moved OUT of New York City and am moved back to my hometown of Upstate NY. Keep in mind that NYC is not NY State. If NY State was one big city like many think…hot damn, that would be a HUGE flippin’ city!
Question of the Day: If your best friend murdered someone, would you turn them in?
My Answer: Yes, yes I would.

I thought it was funny how so many of you on my last post where like, “WOW! You had deer in your lawn?! AWESOME!” Haha…well, it made me laugh because deer are very Very VERY common here. We have deer like NYC has pigeons…except deer are prettier and cuter.
I spent my Saturday hanging up my posters and animation cels and wall scrolls and such on my walls. My room looks ever-so much prettier now. I even got my life-size standee of Jack Sparrow up! *le sigh* It’s nice to turn around and have him there looking all smexy…although I know that would creep a lot of people out…especially when getting dressed and such. Meh, doesn’t bother me any! I hope my standee enjoys the show.^_~ And my bookcase is supposed to arrive today! I’m happy. I already have one bookcase but it’s full but this one is 6 ft tall that’s coming in. Yosh!
And I’m throwing a BBQ today with my pals. It’ll be fun since we have a big inground pool and a big backyard. So yes, hot dogs, wine, and swimming. Now that spells party!

Quote of the Day comes from a conversation with my friend, Gavin:
Gavin: “There was one thing in Pirates of the Caribbean 2 that they still haven’t explained.”
Me: “And that is…?”
Gavin: “Why did Jack Sparrow want the Black Pearl raised from the depths of the ocean?”
Me: “Hmmm…you’re right. They haven’t explained that. Maybe in the 3rd one they will.”
Gavin: “I don’t see why Jack wanted it so bad….except that it’s like the Ferrari of ships.

Okay, since I’m on dial-up again, I’m kinda doing a new system to be sure and reply to comments left. I used to be able to visit you guys throughout the day but can’t do that anymore or else I’d be tying up the phone lines. Most likely, I’ll either be going to your sites by mid-afternoon or really late at night. So yeah, it’s after midnight and I’m getting through the last of you. Many said that it’s okay if I don’t visit them which is nice but, I believe it’s only common courtesy to visit those who visit you so I’m still going to be sure and get to everyone who came to my site…even if it means it will take me a day to get there. Someone said on my last post I must have the patience of a saint to be able to reply to over 70 comments a day while on dial-up. Haha! Well, I suppose so.^_~

Anywho, I just finished watching Superman Returns on my computer. Kakashi Dave had managed to get a near-DVD quality copy of it and burned me it onto DVD. Hey man, although I hated living in NYC, it is the best place to get your boot-leg products.XD I actually really enjoyed the movie despite what many others thought. Yeah, the story had some so-so parts but I couldn’t help grinning like an idiot during some heroic Superman parts. Plus…the guy who played Superman…humina humina. To ask if I thought he was hot is like asking if Inuyasha has a temper. Some nice eye-candy is always pleasant. And to think I had gotten all my eye-candy from Pirates of the Caribbean 2.

Well, today I did something that I could never do while living in NYC...sit outside with peace and quiet while reading a book. It was so relaxing and it was a beautiful day. The only thing that interrupted me was a deer and her twin fawns grazing in our lawn. The fawns were so cute! I wanted to deer-nap one and keep it as a pet.

Ow. Moving does not do a body good. It’s mostly my forearms that hurt from all the lifting and moving of the furniture and such. Bah. Although, I’d rather have my forearms be hurting then my back. When your back or neck hurts you just want to lie down and groan.

So yeah, I’m all moved back to beautiful upstate NY. Bye bye New York City and good riddance! Well, I’m not totally moved in yet. I still have quite a few boxes to go. Phooey. I realized I needed to buy more shelves so I went to Staples and found this really nice bookcase that was cheap and when the worker went back to get it, just my luck, they didn’t have any more. I’m having the bookcase delivered to my house but I probably wont get it till Monday. Nooo! I’m bummed because I don’t want to finish un-packing until I have all my furniture in my room and since a bookcase can store mucho stuffo, what’s the point of unpacking stuff that’s just going to be put somewhere else in a couple days? Man, the hardships in life.^_~ And…I need a bookcase since being employed at Barnes&Nobles has, you know, greatly increased the amount of books I own.^^
I feel 107% better being away from the city though. Just breathing fresh air…man, makes me feel like frolicking. And it was cute because as I was driving to the store, a little flock of geese(not Canadian geese, like…Goose thingies) started walking across the street in front of my car. It was the classic scene where everyone stops their cars so all the cute geese and their goslings can cross unharmed. Ah, it’s good to be home.

Oh yes, but the crappy news about moving back upstate is that I’m back to dial-up. *falls on knees* NOOOOOO!!! Dial-up is better then nothing though, I suppose and soon, a cable line is going to be run up into the hills of our neighborhood. But, since I range about 60-70+ comments a day…it’s going to take me awhile to catch up to people and sometimes I may miss a few but I will try my darndest to keep up AND have a social life too.XP

Thanks for all the welcome backs on my last post! I didn’t update for a whole…what? Two days? lol! But really, it’s nice to know I’m missed when I don’t update. *wipes tears*
Question of the Day: What’s a habit of yours?
My Answer: I compulsively twiddle with my hair. Even when I have it up I’ll play with the bottom of my pony tail or braid or anything.

So, today I started the process of packing my life into boxes. It’s pretty easy though when you’re moving out of an apartment though rather then moving into one. When you’re moving into one, you have to make sure that you pack anything and everything you think you may possibly need for the next year or so. When you’re moving out it’s just a matter of putting all you crap into a box and not leaving anything behind. I’m almost done though except all my posters, animation cels, drawings, and wallscrolls are still on my walls. Those are always the last thing I pack because a naked wall makes me feel…weird. I dunno, makes the room feel cold or something and my room is very bright and festive. I took pictures before I started packing. Maybe I should show you guys what my room looks like one day. Yesssss…show you my fortress of solitude…
Oh, and I got Angel’s account made but I wont link to it yet because I have yet to complete the theme. She’s going to send me her profile and everything but her internet is on the frits right now so it may be a few days. She’s so excited to meet you guys since I blab about some of you to her a lot.^^ And it’s interesting since we’re so much alike except she’s a fantastic writer but can’t draw and I can draw but can’t write so with our powers combined we have many cool projects up our sleeves.^_^

And I keep getting thank you’s left and right for telling people about Ouran High School Host Club! When I gush about an anime, it’s for a good reason! But you’re welcome however, the thank you’s should be given to Angel since it was her that told me about it to begin with! Heehee.^^ And lookie! Tamaki! *glomps*

*Yawnith* It’s after 1am and I just got home from my day shindig with my pal, Angelica who I am now calling Angel because it sounds cooler. We went to China Town and got anime goodies and then we met up with her sister and a friend of hers and we went and saw Pirates of the Caribbean 2. Whee! I loved it. Now…when’s the 3rd coming out?! I know they already filmed it so I’m guessing by next summer. Bah. And so you guys know, just like with the 1st one, stick around after the credits with this one because there’s a little extra.^_^

Well, I had my last day at work on Saturday. It was sad saying bye to everyone and I got many glomps and hugs and good lucks and farewells and I hate goodbyes so I don’t say it. Rather I tell people, “I’ll see you later.” I gave my business cards to people so we can still keep in tough via e-mail and phone and all that. I took a lot of pictures too including one of Kakashi Dave. Angel brought a Naruto bandana for him to wear too but I let him keep his pride and didn’t make him wear it.XD
Oh! And Angel has given me all her info and such so I’m going to be making her an account here! Whee! She’s been wanting one for awhile but doesn’t even know where to start so I’m going to start one up for her, make her a rockin’ theme and hope that you guys go and say hi to her because like I said, she’s just like me so it’s double the fun like double mint gum! Plus, she’s going to continue the Kakashi Dave and psycho B&N customer stories since she’s remaining there.
And for those who don’t know or need a reminder, I’m moving back home to upstate NY this Wednesday and I’m getting a transfer to the local B&N there. I can’t wait to go home! Nature! Wahoo!!

And one more thing…I couldn’t help but squeal when they ripped Will Turner’s shirt off in POTC2. Many girls in the theater did. It was amusing. Now…Jack Sparrow’s turn! Heehee. So dirty.

Everyone at work is convinced I got taller suddenly. I really don’t think I had. A coworker named Martha asked, “Are you taller?” Me: “No.” Martha: Are you sure?” Me: “Yes.” Martha: “You got new shoes didn’t you?” Me: “No.” Eh, I mean, I’ve always been tall…don’t know why suddenly they look at me as a giant.
Question of the Day: What was your favorite animal as a kid?
My Answer: Anything that had a fluffy tail, I loved. Squirrels, skunks, raccoons. Fluffy me likey. Then around 2nd grade, my fave animal became the ostrich…don’t ask.

My coworker got the tattoo I drew for her done today and she showed it to me. It looked really cool…except, it was really REALLY bloody when I saw it.O_O She said it was because they did a lot of detailed shading to be as close to my drawing as they could but she said by tomorrow it wont be bad. And I finished the photorealism drawing of another coworker’s niece and gave that to her today and she loved it. She was amazed how much detail I got into it…this was said because the picture she gave me to reference was really small, really dark and really blurry so yeah, it was a bit challenging on my part but I did my best and she adored the final result so that’s all that matters. And I got paid well too for both that drawing and the tattoo design.^_^

Okay, lovers of my manager nicknamed Kakashi Dave, an incident happened today that I think you guys will thoroughly enjoy. So, an irate lady customer was getting a bit peeved at Kakashi Dave(I wont go into all the small factors that escalated to her getting mad) so she finally asks, “Where’s the manager? I want to speak to him NOW!” So Kakashi Dave looks at her and says, “Sure, just hold on.” He then walks around a bookcase comes around the other side stands in front of the lady and asks, “Yes, may I help you?” Hahahahahaha! Oh man, I just about died. I was laughing SO hard you have no idea. Even the lady laughed at that one. Oh, Kakashi Dave, how I will miss having you as my manager.

Glad you guys like the tattoo for my coworker in the last post! I’ll let you know how it looks once she gets it tattooed onto her.
Question of the Day: What’s the scariest movie you’ve ever seen?
My Answer: The Blair Witch Project. What made it really scary was that my cross country team had a camping party(we were a close bunch) and we dragged a battery and TV out into the middle of the woods and watched it there. It was funny that we were all sprawled out in the beginning of the movie but by the end we were all huddled in a little ball…and somehow, all the guys ended up in the middle with us girls on the outer rim. Feh!

So, I’m working on another commission piece for a different coworker. She’s having me do a photorealism drawing of her niece. This is going to be my last week at work since I’m moving back upstate next week so I need to hurry and get it done! I actually got it almost done today. I’ve realized that I can complete drawings a lot faster then how I used to. Wahoo!
I just can’t wait to move back upstate you have no idea. New York City has killed my inner child and made me weep for the human race. Plus, I miss seeing the stars and moon! The buildings are so high, that seeing the moon is extremely rare. And I look forward to be awoken by coyotes howling rather then car alarms and people fighting.XD
And people have asked me where I get my episodes of Ouran High School Host Club? I download them using bittorrent from mininova.org. I just watched the 13th episode. So creative…Haruhi in Wonderland. Ha! How did I guess they’d make the twins the Cheshire Cat and Tamaki would be the Mad Hatter?^_^

Quote of the Day comes from a stand-up by Mitch Hedberg:
An escalator can never break: it can only become stairs. You would never see an "Escalator Temporarily Out Of Order" sign, just "Escalator Temporarily Stairs. Sorry for the convenience."

Wow, I figured all I had to do was mention people joining the Yuki Club to make it to 200 members and it worked! We now have over 205 members!Yosh!
Me: “You see, Yuki?! Aren’t you honored that so many people like you!”
Yuki: *huddled in corner* “You’re nuts, you know that?”
Me: “Heh heh….”*shifty eyes*
Question of the Day: Are you ticklish?
My Answer: Oh man, you have no idea. You so as much touch me and I’ll start giggling. Touch my feet and my whole body convulses in ticklish spasms. My brother used to torture me…that cruel boy.

So, I finished up my coworkers tattoo! Here’s the finished product:

Like all my other drawings, that was done using prismacolor pencils and a bic pen for the outline. My coworker is going to have this tattoo done on Thursday so I can see it on her Friday. It’s going to be so weird to see my artwork permanently inked on someone’s body.O_O

So, I was talking to one of my coworkers at work the other day, her name is Elisabeth and you know what I realized…she’s a close talker! Anyone get that Seinfeld reference? For those who haven’t, to sum it up, it means when someone’s talking to you and they stand REALLY close to you. So yes, Elisabeth is a close talker and it made me laugh when I thought of it. She gets so close to me that if I were to bend forward just a smidge, our heads would bump. But I randomly asked her one day, “So, how does it feel to watch Pirates of the Caribbean and hear Orlando Bloom say your name in that totally, husky, twiterpated tone?” And she replies, “I'd be lying if I said it wasn't wonderful.” I wish Will Turner would say my name like that. Better yet, Jack Sparrow! Then again, it would probably just be a tangle of slurs.XD

Ouran High School Host Club episode #13 just came out! YAY!
