Oh, I forgot to mention I got the okay from my coworker to complete her tattoo. When I showed it to her she really liked it so when I finish coloring it and such, I’ll show it in one of my posts so you guys can see it completed.
Question of the Day: Fruit or vegetables?
My Answer: Veggies. I actually don’t like fruit too much. Yet I like fruit flavored things…weird.

So, I had suddenly had this idea for a drawing that I NEED to do! Ah! I don’t want to give away too much detail but you know how Kingdom Hearts is with Disney? Well, I’m doing a drawing that going to be called, Kingdom Hearts: It’s Warner Brother’s Turn. Basically, it’s Kingdom Hearts but with the Looney Tunes characters! Heehee! So much fun, especially since Looney Tunes tends to be a bit more…let us say, violent!XD I drew a quick doodle of Sora in a Warner Brothers-ish style:

I want to have it anime meets classic Looney Tunes. I used to draw them a lot back in the day. They’re so floppy and fun to do!
But I’m surprised Nintendo hasn’t thought of this idea! They could make up the main characters but have Nintendo and Warner Bros characters help you along the way. Like Link can show up or maybe one of your special summons are Yakko, Wakko, and Dot or Freakazoid(a brownie for those who remember that show). I should go to Nintendo now and make them do it! Maybe I could be rich! lol!

And YAY! I got the 19th volume of Fruits Basket!! Kyou and Tohru need to get together already and Yuki needs to make his move on Machi! Get crackin’ boy!
And naturally…the picture of the day will be Fruits Basket. Oh! I only need 3 more people to join the Yuki Club to make it to 200 members! C’moooooon…you know you want to…Yuki beckons you too….

I’m watching the news and they said a kid died on a ride in Disney World. I guess he had a heart problem or something. I remember when a kid was strangled to death on the tea cup ride in Disney World when their scarf or something got tangled in it. Who knew Disney was so dangerous?
Question of the Day: Is there an anime character that you can’t stand?
My Answer: Not really but there is one that is reeeeeally close to me wanting to slug in the face but I dare not say who it is because his fan girls will probably hunt me down and then bury me in the woods somewhere.XP

Many people asked how I got my life-size cardboard cut-out of Jack Sparrow home from work yesterday. He folds up which was good since I’d probably be mugged and have him stolen from me if people could see it. Since this is a movie theater display, these cut-outs are supposed to be sent back to the studios so I can only imagine what this papery pirate is worth. Heh heh.
Anywho, Kakashi Dave burned me a copy of the movie, Shaun of the Dead because he said I can’t talk to him anymore until I have seen it. So I watched it and it was funny. It’s a zombie movie that’s supposed to be goofy so I was entertained. Even more-so since I had some rum and coke. *cough* Sorry, having Jack Sparrow in my room is affecting me.^_~ Plus, I needed a relaxer after all the stress lately.
Kids are out of school now so that means all hell breaks loose in our Barnes & Noble. You guys really have no idea how badly our store is destroyed on a daily basis…How many piles of mangas we find all over the place. It’s frustrating. So please, manga people that read the books in the store, PUT THE MANGAS BACK WHERE YOU GOT THEM FROM!!!!!!!!!

I have a sudden urge for peanut butter Captain Crunch.

87 comments.O_O 87 comments on my last post. Seriously…what the? Why do so many people come to my site? I honestly don’t get it. But…I appreciate it non the less.^_^

So anyway, I had a really crappy day yesterday. I wont get into too much detail but it involved a customer getting so angry at me that he started coming at me and cussing me out till he had me cornered against the information desk. Managers were called, security was there soon after and I just ran into the backroom and cracked. I’ve been having a lot of emotional issues these past few weeks and that was the breaking point. All my coworkers were trying to help me and my manager Kakashi Dave went ballistic on the guy and now they’re reporting this incident to the head managers and all this who-ha and I just can’t deal. Thank goodness for my coworkers who flowered me with candy and funny stories to try and make me feel better. I put on a smile for them, like I always do for everyone but on the inside I still felt like crap. And people wonder why I want to get away from NYC?

Today was better though. There was a light at the end of the tunnel. My day didn’t start off well and I was close to going home from work but then…a life-size Jack Sparrow cardboard cut-out showed up at our store. Well, it doesn’t belong to us, we could tell that since we already have a couple Pirates of the Caribbean 2 displays and this one had no markings or indents in it for shelves or anything. We soon realized that this was probably meant for the movie theater next door. Our managers were like, meh, we’ll just give it to someone. So, Kakashi Dave put an “X” on a wadded piece of paper and threw it in with a bunch of others and passed them out and whoever had the “X” got to have Jack. And, to my shock, I got it!! So yeah, now I have a life-size Jack Sparrow in my room. And it even stopped raining while heading home from work so he didn’t get wet. Kakashi Dave told me he better not see paper cuts on my lips when I come into work tomorrow or they’ll know what I was up to last night.XD

And sorry, no question of quote of the day. I’m tired and don’t really feel like it. I’m going to eat a Twix and then go to bed.^^

I’ve decided I’m not going to visit people’s sites who simply answer my question of the day and leave. It’s kind of an insult that people do that and expect me to go to their sites and read through their daily lives and reply to it when they didn’t bother to read mine. And on that note…
Question of the Day: You’re being forced to change your name, what do you change it to?
My Answer: One of my college suitemate’s name was Coral and I loved that name. She was kind of a stuck-up snot but I liked her name.XD So yeah, Coral Sinclair or something cool like that.

So today, I did the sketch of the tattoo for my coworker I mentioned yesterday. This is the sketch of it:

It’s kind of a weird situation with the person who wanted this. You see, my coworker is a lesbian but considers herself bisexual as well (she has an obsession with Aragorn and LegolasXP) and she wanted me to do a tattoo that had a sexy looking cartoon girl but she didn’t want a truck diver tattoo. I.E., she didn’t want it to be skanky. So yeah, I’m going to show it to her tomorrow at work and if she likes it, then I’ll clean it up and possibly color it.
And some people thought I, myself was going to put the tattoo on her..HECK NO! I’m just doing the drawing for it…leave the tattooing to the tattoo dudes/dudettes. And others thought this was a tattoo for me…again, HECK NO! I would never ever get a tattoo.

Quote of the Day comes from The Simpsons:
Homer: “Oh, this is the worst party ever!”
Marge: Well, at least it’s better the Lenny’s New Years party. He didn’t even have a clock!”

Question of the Day: You’re about to be stranded on an island and you can have only person with you to be around for the rest of your life, who is it?
My Answer: My best friend, Gavin. Him and I are two peas in a pod and he’s also really funny and can do a plethora of voices so I would probably be the least bored with him around.^^

So the stove in my apartment hasn’t been working for the past 3 day and I finally called my landlord. He basically told me, “It’s not working? Well, too bad.” Not in quite those words but that’s the jist of it. Needless to say, I was not pleased. I told him, isn’t part of my monthly rent include these utilities? And he replied that the utilities provided are a privilege. A freakin’ privilege?! So, if the refrigerator stopped working or the sink exploded then that’s a crying shame and I should be grateful for the time that they did work? WTF?! I yelled at him and he said he’ll see what he can do. Freakin’ jerk. 3 days without being able to cook things but via the microwave is getting mighty old and I’m a bit peeved as you can tell.
Anywho, onto something more pleasant, Ouran High School Host Club episode 11 came out recently and I downloaded it and I look forward to watching that. Played more Kingdom Hearts 2 and completed almost all the worlds twice so I think I’m almost done. And I’m working on a tattoo design for a fellow coworker. I’m a bit nervous creating a tattoo for someone…seeing as how they want to have it on their bodies for the rest of their lives!O_O

I have this poster!!! *pets poster*

Holy buckets guys, thank you for over 17,000 hits! Do I feel the love? Aye, I feel it.
Question of the Day: If your house caught on fire and you already got all your loved ones out of the house, parents/siblings/pets but you had time to grab one pocession, what would it be?
My Answer: Without a doubt, my art portfolio.

Well, work was chaos. I realized that I become incredibly stressed and jumpy when I’m surrounded by people. My co-worker, Zizwe(who’s from Jamaica and is a beautiful male specimen^_~), kept asking me if I was okay because I kept flipping out over every little thing. The problem is, at the information desk that I work at, customers can actually get behind me and when it’s really crowded, people will stand behind me and all sides of me and it FREAKS ME OUT!! AHH! I can’t handle it!
Oh, and for all those who said the shoplifter in my last post was being ninja-ish, well, it was actually our undercover detective who was acting like the ninja. And yes, we have an undercover detective. He’s really good too! I don’t think many other Barnes&Nobles has one but in NYC since thievery runs high here and mangas are one of the most stolen item, having him catches a lot of these people. Oh, and many people think it’s the UPC on the books that make the alarms go off, it actually isn’t, it’s something else…but I can’t tell you guys since it’s a secret.^_~
And I finally got Pride Rock opened in Kingdom Hearts 2!!! My error was that I had done levels out of order but I finally got to play it and I think it’s my fave level. Sora as a lion cub…oh gawd, can I even get over the cuteness? I was squealing the entire time.

Quote of the Day comes from Lord of the Rings:
Pippin: "Besides, you need people of intelligence on this sort of mission.......Quest.........Thing."
Merry: "Well, that rules you out, Pip."

It’s all stormy out. Bah. It’s quite humid too. I feel like I could swim through the air it’s so thick.
Question of the Day: What summer movie are you looking forward to the most?
My Answer: Pirates of the Caribbean 2!!!! WAHOO!!! I'm watching Orlando Bloom on Jay Leno as we speak. Yosh!

I lived Dane Cook’s dream today. You guys know the comedian, Dane Cook? If you don’t then, why not?! I kid…but really, he’s hilarious. Anyway, I was about to make dinner and I hear the screeching of tires followed by the CRASH! And just like how Dane talks about in his stand-up, I leaped to my window to see what happened. I didn’t run around like a madwoman for my shoes though like he did.XP So yeah, it was just a small collision but a little brew-ha-ha started up and I stood by my window, eating raviolis watching the whole thing. It was entertaining.^_^
And then at work, I got to see a kid get busted for trying to steal mangas! He was trying to steal Naruto and a couple others. Our undercover detective caught him and I saw him on the prowl too before he got the kid. It was hilarious. He was being all ninja stealthy and ducking behind bookshelves and such to watch the kid without him knowing. So yeah, the kid got caught and he got in big trouble because he was giving the head manager, Matt, an attitude so…things didn’t go too well for the kid. That’s what he gets for trying to steal mangas! Feh!

Quote of the Day comes from Seinfeld:
*Jerry and George broke into Elaine’s apartment to get Jerry’s keys*
Jerry: “Well, they have to be around somewhere!”
George: “Well, what do they look like?”
Jerry: *glares at him* “Keys, George. They look like keys. *walks away shaking head*…”what do they look like…”

Question of the Day: If you could have any anime/video game character as a pet/friend/whatever, who would it be?
My Answer: Shippou from Inuyasha. That little fox demon can transform into anybody! I’d be like, “Become Yuki! Now Kadaj! Now Dark! Now Yuki again!” Heehee, yes, I would enjoy that.^_^

So today, I decided to wear my hair up in a half braid and I walk into the store and one of my coworkers, named Justin, comes up to me and says, “You know who you look like?” And I go, “Who?” He replies, “You look JUST like an Elf from Lord of the Rings.” Haha! Yes, this style of hair is one that Legolas sported around and I’m really tall and thin and my friends at home have dubbed me the elf, so I’m used to it. Well, word spread quickly and for the rest of the day, elf comments were tossed around by my fellow workers such as people paging "Arwen" over the loudspeaker and them asking if the little kids in the store were actually the hobbits in disguise, etc. And then my manager(yes, a.k.a. Kakashi Dave) came up to me and goes, “Oh fair elf maiden. Thank you for pulling yourself from the realms of Middle Earth and gracing us with your divine beauty and wisdom in this shit-hole place, called Barnes & Noble.” Haha!…Kakashi Dave has such a way with words.XD
Oh, and I appreciate the people who actually read my whole posts and don’t just answer my question of the day and leave. You know who you are!

Quote of the Day comes from Animaniacs…yes, it’s one I’ve used before but it’s still hilarious.XD
*The Warners are protecting the King from a viper and are singing him a lullaby to help him sleep*
All 3 Warners: *sung like the Mockingbird lullaby*
“Hush little king, please don’t cry.
We’re going to sing you a lullaby.
A big scary monster-man is coming for you.
He’ll gobble you up like chunky beef stew.”
*All 3 kiss him*
“Good niiiiiiiight.”
Yakko: “We’ll be right outside protecting you from the evil viper who lurks in the shadows to do horrible, unspeakable things to you while you innocently slumber.”
All 3 Warners: “Sleep tiiiiiiiight.”
LOL! My, they’re so calming, aren’t they?O_o

I read my 3rd Tenshi Ja Nai manga and AHHH! I hate when they leave you hanging! *shakes fist of extreme anger* They pushed back the release date for the 3rd one so I’m sure the 4th is going to be pushed back too. Nooooo!!!
Question of the Day: If you won the lottery, what would you do?
My Answer: Quit my job, buy a cottage in the country and enjoy just drawing and enjoying life.

A friend of mine from high school called me today. It was nice to talk to her since we were really close but then, you know, college happens and friends are separated and stuff. She actually went into the military for nursing and now she’s stationed in Hawaii! That lucky girl. She’s doing great which made me happy. I told her about what had happened to me yesterday and she says all signs point to me having a heat stroke. Kinda freaky. She said I should have gone to the hospital. *shrug* Oh well, too late now. But she said to drink loads of water today, which I did. I feel okay but still don’t have much of an appetite and I have to go to work tomorrow…er, today when most read this. Bah.
Anywho, played my Kingdom Hearts 2 today. I’m still waiting to get to the Lion King’s land! I’ve already gotten through the other levels twice but that level hasn’t opened. I’m in the midst of playing Halloween Town again so maybe after this it will open. I wanna see Sora as a little lion cub! Kawaii!!

Quote of the Day comes from Mystery Science Theater 3000:
*The guys are just sitting down in the movie theater as the title of the movie comes up and it’s called, Werewolf.*
Tom Servo: “I don’t know, you had him last!”
lol! Get it?! Oh, the cornyness of it all.XD

My mom called me tonight because she needed me to do some graphics for her for a retirement card she’s doing for a friend’s party. I swear, my mom thinks I’m a technology genius. I’m pretty sure she wishes I’d become an engineer rather then an artist. Feh.
Question of the Day: What’s something that you fear?
My Answer: Kinda random, but one of my biggest fears is tripping and falling and breaking one of my teeth. I’m such a stickler with my teeth that if I were to loose one, I’d cry for weeks.

So today was really hot and again, I loved it. I even walked a few miles to get some summer clothes at Old Navy and to get some more CD-R’s. I dressed myself up really cute too wearing a tank top and skirt. I got whistled and honked at one too many times but meh, I didn’t mind. I expected such wearing such a cute outfit.XD
However, my day went downhill really quick because about 15 minutes after I got home, I got really really ill. I suddenly got very dizzy and nauseous and I could barely stand up. So, I laid on my bed and couldn’t stop whimpering because my whole body just felt aflammed. My roomy started freaking out because I couldn’t keep my eyes open and she was about to call 911! I told her not too and instead she ran to a store next door and bought a bunch of medicines and liquids. It took about 2 hours before I felt okay enough to sit up. I went to commenting on your guy’s sites but I was pretty out of it, so I hope some of your comments I made on your sites made sense. So yeah, I feel fine now, I can’t eat anything though because my tummy still hurts so I don’t know what they heck happened but it blew all my plans for the day. Feh!

Quote of the Day comes from comedian, Mitch Headberg:
“My friend was walking down the street and he said, ‘I hear music.’ As if there is any other way of taking it in. I tried to taste it, but it did not work.”
