I’m glad you guys like the new theme! I just did some last minute modifications since there were a few things I wanted to fix. Man, it’s 1:15am and I’m updating. I just got back from my friend’s apartment. Harisson wanted to have me watch an anime that he thought I’d enjoy and you know what? He was right! It’s so cute! It’s called ‘100% Strawberry’ and if I had to compare it to another anime, I’d say it’s a mix of Fruits Basket and His and Her Circumstance. It’s a romancy/comedy type anime but not corny and the story is told through the guy’s point of view which is a rarity. It’s 12 episodes long and we watched the first half and I wanted to watch more but I was tired. One week till Kingdom Hearts 2 comes out! Whee! I don’t think I’ll be buying it right away though. I get 20% off of Gamestop though because Barnes&Noble is branched with GameStop and I get their employee discount! Whee again! Last night, a bunch of us were playing Soul Calibur III and it was fun. Then we played Super Smash Bros Melee and I kicked all their butts. Well, my friend Tiffany is really good too. Her character is Kirby and mine is adult Link so I had a challenge for once^_~ Oh, and what's with this 'Permalink' link under everyone's post? All it does is bring up your post again but minus the profile. I don't understand the point of it at all. The Portfolio one I can understand but my pity goes to the dial-up users since that's a whole 'nother page you have to load to see artwork and such. Theme change! I was going to wait till FMA was done showing on CN to change it so…yeah, now that you guys have finished it here it be! Except some of you have to wait for the movie now or, you could just get it off e-bay for really cheap! Like the music? I was so excited when I found the full version of the Naruto theme. It’s spiffy and makes me want to pick up nunchucks or something. So many of you asked on my last post why we strip the covers off books and here’s why: If a book isn’t selling and Barnes & Noble wants to send the book back to the publisher/vendor, then they often want the whole book sent back. Sometimes though, the publisher has an updated edition of the book or they just plain don’t want it back so to prove that B&N didn’t sell the book, we strip the front cover off of it and send it to them and so that way B&N can still get a certain percentage of money back. And that’s why as employees, we are allowed to keep the stripped books/mangas because they’re just going to be thrown away! And some asked how can my soul-mate be of the same sex? Do some of you not know the concept of a soul-mate? You don’t need to be of the opposite sex to have a soul mate. Silly monkeys^_~ Now that I have DSL and can watch videos you all have posted spiffy videos, here’s my first video share! I had heard about this video on the news and just had to find it. You can just push stop on the music in my profile. This is a real-life version of the opening to The Simpsons: Heehee! Wasn’t it cute?

Thank you guys so much for your support! I really appreciate it. I wasn’t planning to stop drawing based on those rude comments…it just frustrates me and if I make another Sasuke/Sakura drawing, I doubt I’ll upload it here. I can’t handle people who live in their own, twisted fantasy world and freak out if they see a drawing that goes against the way they think they should be. I don’t get upset easily but one too many people crossed the line on this one. Onto some better news…I finally have DSL!!!! Let’s see, how long did it take Verizon to provide this service to me? About 3 months>_< Many people said I should get cable…okay 1)Cable service is not available at my apartment. Right across the street from me has cable but I do not. And 2)I’m paying my own bills and cable is extremely expensive. So far, DSL is working great! It’s really fast! I managed to visit everyone’s site in record time and I finally got to fully see people’s Otaku pages with music, pictures and everything. It’s nice^^ So today at work, I got to work along my soulmate for a few hours which is wonderful. We had somehow dressed exactly the same! We didn’t even notice until someone pointed it out to us. Heh, it’s eerie. Oh, and Angelica(that’s the name of my soulmate) had been doing zone maintenance in the sci-fi fantasy section and when we do maintenance, we scan the books and if the computer beeps at us, it means the books have to be pulled off the shelves and if the computer reads, “strip” that means we have to rip the cover off the book and send the covers back to the publishers and toss the rest of the book away. And as employees, we are allowed to keep the rest of the book and Angelica saw that 2 books by my fave author had to be stripped and she made sure and save them for me and she gave them to me! Ain’t that sweet? And yes, we even have to strip mangas sometimes and that means…we get to keep the mangas! Whee!

I got a tummy ache. And I’m cold, tired, lonely and homesick. I got paid today which is nice but too bad all that money is going to my landlord for rent>_< I’m very upset with some of the responses I got on my latest drawing of Sasuke and Sakura. Even though I clearly didn’t want people commenting on the coupling, some people just couldn’t keep those thoughts to themselves. Many people just went on and on saying stuff like, “how could you?! Sasuke shouldn’t be with Sakura! I hate Sakura! Sasuke should be with me! Or having wild gay sex with Naruto!...oh, and nice drawing.” C’mon people, what planet are you living on where a comment like that is appropriate? I’m glad I spent hours on a drawing only to have it be the afterthought. *heavy sarcasm there* On top of that, people just had a field day criticizing the fact I had drawn Sasuke’s headband logo backwards. Seriously, is it that big of a deal? It may be a shocker to some but I AM HUMAN and I DO make honest mistakes so calm the freak down! Will people lay off me if I simply flipped the drawing in photoshop? I honestly, thought it was amusing that people even noticed…at first, but then it just got annoying. I sound like a total ass right now which is unlike me but the one thing I don’t tolerate is immaturity towards other people’s artwork. And I highly thank those who left true constructive comments on my drawing. I’m sorry to those people because you had to sit through that rant. Don’t think you went unnoticed! *hugs* Now that my eye is slowly de-twitching, I’m going to read a little then go to bed since I have to go into work tomorrow. Oh gawd, I think I just saw another mouse…unless it was a ghost. I think I’d rather it be a ghost.

Well, I finished the drawing! Here’s a link to it if you want to check it out: I think it’s pretty self-explanatory…I like Sasuke and Sakura so…yeah. I hated Sakura at first but later in the series she starts proving her worth.XP I had uploaded it and then deleted it because when I looked at it, something was off…turns out Photoshop had stretched the image a little bit and it was bugging me to no degree so I ended up resubmitting it so I lost all the previous votes and comments. Sorry to those who had commented! There were like, 10 or so I think. You may notice that it has a really poor rating. *shrugs* I think some people just loathe this pairing so much that they take it out in the ratings part hence why I asked people nicely to vote on it based on the piece itself rather then the subject. Didn’t work…big surprise all the people who have been voting ‘no’ haven’t left a comment which leads me to believe they’re just being spiteful. Although, I really don’t care…know why? Even though they’re voting ‘no’ on it, they’re still voting…hence all they’re doing is boosting my popularity ranking not only on the drawing but on me, the artist, as well.XP Haw haw! *points and laughs at them* Hopefully, this Friday I’ll have DSL!! I can’t wait! I’m tired of this dial-up crap since so many people have videos and such on their sites that I never get to see. I had gotten my DSL modem though last week but I was told March 17th after 6pm is when I should have access. It kinda sucks having this modem here that provides faster internet but I can’t use it!! Bah, I just sliced my finger on the kitchen faucet>_< I didn’t notice how bloody it was until I finally looked down at it. I’m glad I noticed before I started touching my drawings! Luckily, the cut is on my right-hand so my lefty drawing hand is nice and cut-free. Whee! More often then not I injure my dominant hand. Feh! So, I did laundry today. How exciting. I need to go grocery shopping SO bad. I have like, no food. My parents called me because they tend to send me care packages a lot with food in it because they know me…I have a bad habit of not really eating. And no, I don’t starve myself or anything, I just eat very little and tend to forget to eat when I get myself into projects…i.e. my drawings.XD My parents call me all the time to make sure I’m okay but it’s because they’re scared that I live in NYC. I think they believe I’m going to get mugged, raped, and thrown in a dumpster somewhere. I’m also the youngest of 4 so I’m the spoiled rotten baby of the family that they don’t want to let go of. Ah well, it has it’s advantages.^_~ And I did a lot of work on my new anime drawing. I got the characters all drawn and their skin colored. This is a close-up shot so the skin was going to be the most time-consuming part. I hope to have it done sometime tomorrow(Tuesday). One of the characters I have drawn before but not the other. Yep, I just HAD to make an avatar of that Sasuke screencap I had taken. I just cropped it and added the text in Photoshop. Heehee! Today, I didn’t do much but draw 3 more character in my LOTR/Animaniacs parody and I started an anime drawing too that I had the biggest urge to draw. I don’t know when I’ll finish it, but I’ll tell you guys when I upload it. Oh, Saturday at work, I had assisted a customer and after he left a few of my co-workers came running up to me asking, “Do you know who that was?!” And I was like, “uhhh who?” And they go, “The guy you just helped!” And I answered, “uhhh, no.” And they replied, “That was Gabriel Byrns!!” And I think I gave them the Sasuke ‘WTF’ face like I have above and they say, “You know, the actor? He’s in Man in the Iron Mask and like a 100 other movies?!” Heh, I still don’t know who he was but apparently I helped a celebrity and didn’t even know it.XD Heath Ledger has been known to show up in our Barnes&Noble too from time-to-time since he lives near there. Now, if I had seen Heath, THEN I would have known who he was. Elijah Wood supposedly doesn’t live far either. If Elijah came into my store…I’d probably jump him yelling, “FRODO!!!!” Quote of the Day comes from the stand-up comedian, Mitch Hedberg: “I wish they’d make cinnamon roll scented candles. I’m glad you guys like my sneak peak Lord of the Rings/Animaniacs parody I posted the other day. It’s going to take me a long time to complete it so I have my work cut out for me. I don’t know if I’ll upload the final product here though since it being not anime and all. And I’m glad you like Sasuke’s ‘WTF’ face in my last post too^_^ Yes, he really did make that face. It was in the 12 minute Naruto special that they had before the Naruto movie. I just laughed aloud when I saw him with that expression and just had to make a screencap of it. Whee! And they were having a race in that special for those who were confused by the ninjas behind Sasuke. Anyway, so on my way to work today, I saw a guy get hit by a car. I’m telling you right now, it’s true what they say about NYC drivers…they don’t slow down for anyone! The guy got hit on the hip and flew sideways. The driver kept on going too! A whole bunch of people went and helped the victim. He wasn’t seriously hurt. I think more shaken then anything. And then at work there was some little girl that was running around the store and my co-worker, Merv and I kept yelling at her to stop running. Well, we say it for a reason because not too long after, she tripped and did a face-plant on the floor. She cried but was okay. When we saw it happen, I was like, “OMG! Is she okay?” And Merv just looked down at her and started laughing.XD Merv is so evil, I love it. And I have another recommendation of a manga I read the other day. It’s called ‘Tenshi Ja Nai.’ It’s steller and totally worth a read^^ Quote of the Day comes from Fruits Basket: Minagawa: “Prince Yuki, this is our high school’s existing Yuki Sohma fanclub. I finally made a button for myself! Took me long enough and I’ve had so many people asking me for one so I got my butt in gear and made it. And naturally, I used my fave picture of Yuki. *grins* But I colored those eyes me-self in Photoshop. Lots of people have been commenting to me lately that I haven’t done any drawing in awhile. *hangs head in shame* I know, I’ve had an artist lap lately. If anyone has been on my DeviantArt account, you may have seen my Animaniacs parody of the Matrix called, ‘The Real Animantrix’ and that had such a good response to it. Since I first saw Lord of the Rings back in 2001, I’ve wanted to make a parody of that. You guys will get a sneak peak of one of the character parodies too: Yes, that is Yakko Warner as Legolas^_^ I’m going to make it look like the cast poster from the Fellowship of the Ring and I have all the characters planned out but Yakkolas is the first one I drew out. It’s going to take me awhile to finish it though but I can’t wait! Oh and Yakkolas was outlined just using a standard Bic Pen(I always get asked that so I thought I’d beat you to it^_~). I haven’t drawn the Animaniacs in so long. They’re ever-so much fun. And I need to tell people that my Private Messages aren’t working properly. I had responded to over 40 PM’s and I don’t think they have reached anyone but a random few. People have been commenting that they’ve gotten messages from me dated back in early February and I’m not receiving messages properly either. So, I may refrain from sending notes till I think it’s fixed. And now…. Sasuke proudly presents the classic face of ‘WTF?’

All I did today was watch more Naruto. Man, that big battle with Konoha village and then Orochimaru and Sasuke and Gaara(again) and then Naruto and oh! Oh! OH! It was grand. It took like, literally 14 episodes though! Thank goodness I have them on DVD. I would never have the patience to wait between each episode. And Sasuke finally calls Naruto and Sakura his “close friends.” AH!!! *glomps Sasuke* I knew he had a soft spot in there somewhere. I have another mouse in my apartment!! Last night, it had gotten into a box of cookies and it got itself trapped in it! The poor thing was spazzing out when it saw me…not that I blame it. But I got the box open and it dashed out. I think this one is a baby and my roomy was like, ‘why didn’t you wrap tape around the box and toss it out the window?!’ O_O Hell no I’m not going to do that!! Plus, it was like 4am when I heard it stuck in the cookies so I wasn’t all mentally there. And I wasn’t going to take the mouse outside in my pajammies at 4am in the streets of NYC and release it. It would just come back to my apartment anyway! I put out another mouse trap though and got it. Again, the guilt overwhelms me. I know, just a silly mouse but I can’t help it! It’s not the mouse’s fault! It needs a home too and things to eat plus…I think they’re so cute. I’m sorry Yuki! Yuki is probably shaking his head in disgust at me right now. *wheeps* …and I threw those cookies away too. Poor cookies. Poor mousy and poor cookies.
