Gah! Is it just me, or is something going funky with Otaku? *sniff*

Tomorrow(Monday) I have that interview with the AMC Theaters. I hope things go well and the stinkin' MTA subway workers better not decide to go on strike again or else I will be totally SCREWED! I will have no way to get to work if they go on strike again. Anyway, Saturday evening I got a call from Barnes and Noble and they want an interview with me as well! I would prefer to work at Barnes and Noble but it wouldn't be as fun as working at the AMC Theater and I doubt it would pay as well. It would be closer though so less travel distance but we'll see how things go.

I had was thrown a house warming party last night and it was SO much fun. It was sad because my really close friends from back home weren't there for obvious reasons, but instead, my buddies from college all came and I forgot how amazing these people are and how much fun we have together. It's also nice because they ALL like anime in some form or another. We drank quite a bit(but we're all legal so no probs) and we played Super Smash Brothers Melee for a long loooooong time. I guy I sorta have a crush on was there. *blushes* He's really nice and intelligent and handsome and the best part...HE'S TALL!!! I'm 5'9" so finding a guy tall enough so I can wear high heels and not tower over them is often tough. Now, I'm amazing at Super Smash Brothers but I have to admit, these group of fellows I played with are seriously good and I actually had a challenge. I still whooped them a lot though. Gotta keep the guys in their place^_~
A couple pals who were there are Asian and one is a total and complete riot and he was doing his impression of white people and then he was bragging how Asians have the wide-screen vision due to the shape of their eyes. Oh man, I was cracking up to no degree. This was the same guy who dressed like a giant Pikachu for Halloween and walked around with a cigar in his mouth and a boom box so he could have theme music for himself while dressed as Pikachu. Oh, I giggle at the memories.
I have SUCH a story to tell you guys though that involves a roof, a tarp, and the police but I'll save that for my next update^_^

I'm SO sorry for being gone so long guys!! I'm now living in New York City and had it set up so DSL would be hooked up in my apartment by the 12th. Well, little did I know that that was just step 2 of a 4 step process. I now have to wait for Verizon to send me the modem and THEN I have to wait till they call me to let me know that I am now okay to start using my internet>_< When I ordered DSL 3 weeks ago they never informed me I wouldn't have DSL till about the 30th of January. I was uber pissed though let me tell you. I picked up an alumni card(which cost me $25) for my college I graduated from in May(since I live about 2 blocks from campus) so I could use the internet. Man, gotta love living in NYC where you have to add an additional few weeks to anything you want accomplished. I say FEH! in their general direction.

Anywho, it's 12:50 in the afternoon which is a real odd-ball time for me to be updating. I look forward to visiting all of you guys though since I want to read about what everyone has been doing in my absense. I also have 70 comments from my last post but the campus has fast internet so it wont take nearly as long to answer them as back home.
So far, I've been spending a lot of time applying to jobs to help pay the rent till I land something more permenent. I applied to like, 11 places and finally, yesterday I went to Times Square and started applying there. I applied to the AMC theater and within 2 hours I got a call back from them and I have an interview on Monday! I hope I get that job since the AMC theater is where they hold premiers of movies and such in NYC and that would be so awesome to work there! *crosses fingers* Plus, seeing a movie for free rather then the whooping NYC price for movies which is $10.50 would be marvelous.
Anywho, I have tons more to talk about but don't want to bore you all in one sitting so I'll be sure and come back soon to fill you guys in with more^_^

Since I haven't had internet for awhile I've been watching tons of my Naruto DVD's. I'm up to episode 60 something now and boy-howdy is it getting good! So...
Quote of the Day comes from Naruto:
Kakashi: "Now then, let's return to our original mission."
Sakura: "Now?"
Kakashi: "Don't worry, it wont take long. We can eat at Ichiraku(the ramen restraurant) afterwards."
Naruto: "All right, I'll do it!!"
Kakashi: "I'm not going to pay for you though."
Naruto, Sakura, Sasuke: "......CHEAPSKATE!!!"

Thanks everyone who commented on my Kingdom Hearts drawing! I always appreciate it since comments help me out with what people like and/or don’t like so I can use that for future drawings! There’s still a link on the post below to the drawing if you want to see it^_^
I spent most of the day packing. I’m moving to my apartment in New York City Wednesday morning. The landlord finally painted the walls and got the radiator put in so it’s all set to move in. So, I wont be here Wednesday at all but Thursday Verizon is coming and hooking me up for DSL!! Bye bye dial-up!! I’m trying to decide whether or not I’m going to take my Inuyasha DVD series with me. I’ve already watched the entire series and they take up quite a bit of room but what if I want to watch them later?! Ah well, they’ll probably stay behind.

Sunday the group of us got together for my friend, Tyler’s birthday. It was fun! We played Mario Party 7 and Mario DDR and then we went and saw that new horror movie, ‘Hostle.’ People were saying how scary and gory it was and I wasn’t scared one bit nor was I that grossed out. Except for one part involving an eye *shudder* The first like hour of the movie involved nothing but sex and naked women…something I’m sure some people didn’t mind but I was tiring of it real quick. I was sitting right beside 2 guys who I didn’t know and they were making the most demeaning comments towards women I’ve heard in a long time. At one point when they were showing a naked girl, one of the guy’s says, “Now that’s Grade-A meat.” >_< Later my pals and I were discussing those guys and Tyler said, “I should have made you sit away from them because as you were walking towards them, their eyes lit up like candy.” Gah, like they had a chance with me talking like that about women. It’s not impressive.

I LOVE THIS PICTURE!!

So yeah, I got the drawing done yesterday afternoon. Thanks to those who commented on it already! That makes me happy! I would be ever so pleased for those who haven’t seen it to take a look at it since I worked hard on this one.
Just clickey the thumby:

A few people have asked me if I work for DisneyO_O…ha! I wish! But no, I take it as a compliment though so thank you^_^ Especially since I haven’t drawn anything Disney since I was like…8 years old. I actually found all the characters relatively easy to draw.
And some people have commented on this…about the fact that Sora has a dorsal fin in the game so why didn’t I draw it? Well, if you look at the angle I drew Sora, his back is arched and his butt is facing the wrong way so you wouldn’t be able to see it. Trust me, I tried to draw it in there but it didn’t look right since the angle was all wrong to see the fin^_^

Anyway, I went birthday shopping for a friend of mine and I bought him a Trigun calendar and a Sonic the Hedgehog keychain. I also bought myself an FMA Edward figure and the 2nd D.N.Angel soundtrack since people mentioned the 2nd one had the pretty instrumental music so I’ll listen to it and see which one I want to put onto my site.

Quote of the Day comes from Animaniacs:
Yakko: “All for one and one for all!!....and one plus 80 divided by pie equals…wait, what’s that equal?”
Wakko: *with a cup of coffee* “No, it’s Sweet & Low.”
AHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Get it?! Equal? Sweet & Low? Ha! Pure genius…*wipes tears*

The Kingdom Hearts drawing is almost done. I could actually get it done tonight(Friday night) and I probably will but I don’t want to scan it and upload it till tomorrow(Saturday). By the time some of you read this, it may have been uploaded. Wahoo!
EDIT:// I just uploaded the drawing but will talk about it more on tomorrow's post^_^

I keep waiting for my landlord to get the apartment ready and he’s sure taking his sweet-ass pimp time to do it. He still needs to re-paint the apartment and install a radiator. And it better be ready before the 12th because that’s when Verizon is coming to install my DSL! And if it’s in NYC and if they can’t do it that day because I’m not moved in yet then I’ll probably have to wait another 8 days! Bah! I shake my fist in anger at the landlord.
I still haven’t decided what music I’m going to put onto my site. Man, why is this so hard?! I know a few mentioned using the main theme song from the D.N.Angel anime, ‘True Light’ and I do have the full-version of that song but it’s a little too…guitar-ish. I like to keep songs soft and fluffy on my site…like what fabric softner does^_^

Quote of the Day comes from Fruits Basket:
Shigure: “I’m about to wet my pants!” *opens bathroom door*
Hana: “Didn’t you see the cleaning sign?”
Shigure: “Ah, sorry, sorry.”
Hana: “I’m cleaning this right now.”
Shigure: “I’ll do it really quick!”
Hana: “They say you can understand how an electric wave flows by watching how water flows. There is a reason for that. You know that 60% of the human body is composed of water, don’t you? In other words, minus the flesh, humans are only water. Despite that, I think people underestimate miso too much. The real fault is inexperience by having obsession with eating…”
Shigure: *slams door*

Well, I’m glad my hints in the last post finally clued some people in on what world from Kingdom Hearts I’m drawing from. Even those who’ve never played the game guessed it right and it was The Little Mermaid but the level in Kingdom Hearts is just Atlantica so yeah…that’s what I’m drawing. I’m not just drawing the scenery though like someone thought, I’m you know…drawing the characters^_~ I already got most of it done! It saves a lot of time not having to draw clothes! Heehee. I am so pleased with how Ariel’s hair came out. Those reds always blend so nicely…only problem is, red stands out so much I’m going to have to try and brighten Goofy(who’s on the opposite side of the page) to help balance the colors out. I hope to have the drawing done by Saturday or Sunday^_^

Wednesday, I went to my friend Tyler’s house and he had gotten me a surprise! He bought me the new Animaniacs game for Gamecube! SCREECH! I had heard about this game a couple months ago but had never seen it released but he managed to find it and he bought it for me. What a doll^^ The game is fun! They got the original voices back for the game too! *sigh* How I miss those good cartoons. I missed Yakko, Wakko, and Dot^_^
We later watched Duck Tales and Home Movies and his dog came in and jumped on the bed and I was petting her and she was leaning in and closing her eyes and Tyler says to me, “Man, my dog hates everyone but you!” Tyler then went to pet her and she growled at him. Haha! I have that magic touch with animals, I guess.

Quote of the Day comes from the Animaniacs game for Gamecube:
Yakko: “Hey, have you seen my siblings anywhere?”
Sheriff: “Um, I’m not sure, what do they look like?”
Yakko: “Well, one is short and cute and the other wears a red baseball cap….and he’s really weird….and he doesn’t wear pants.”

Wow…okay, only ONE person truly guessed what world in Kingdom Hearts I’m drawing from correctly. My clue was ‘forks.’ Let’s jump up a digit…keep in mind the worlds from Kingdom Hearts are based on Disney movies. Let’s go from ‘fork’ to ‘dinglehopper.’ Anyone know it yet? Comes from the world where the seaweed is always greener in somebody else’s lake? C’mon! If you haven’t guessed it by now I’m so pinching you!

Anywho, my brother sent me this program where I can crack the codes of copyrighted DVD’s and burn them! MWAHAHA! I mean…crack the codes of my DVD’s I purchased and make DVD back-ups of them…*shifty eyes* I mean, why ELSE would someone want a DVD burner and a program that cracks copyrighted movies? Heh heh.

Quote of the Day comes from Fruits Basket manga, Volume 16:
Ayame: “Tori-san, that was a marvelous dance! Not to mention that Momiji’s youth and Tori-san’s bitterness coupled together caused a miraculously wonderful flavor to float to the surface. If only a more challenging foundation was extablished…I’D HAVE TO EMBRACE YOU!!!!”
Hatori: “Could you please not make me feel more miserable then I already am?”
Shigure: Good job, Tori-san! Aren’t you glad that serious dance is over with? You’ll have to do next year’s too, you know.”
Hatori: Shut up!”
Ayame: “That’s true, next year you’ll be with me!! The two of us together shall be the ‘Hugging Team!!’”
Hatori: “Stop babbling like an idiot and go!!”

Oh and the game, Bujingai, I’ve been yapping about for the last couple posts is for the Playstation 2 console. It’s so much fun! I have a feeling I’d be playing it non-stop if I didn’t have a life^_~ And I mentioned that the main character of the game was modeled after the singer Gackt and he’s also voiced by Gackt too. Here’s an image of the main character and you can see for yourself that they REALLY made the character look like Gackt…it’s pretty eerie:

4 ½ hours later, my dad and I just finished watching the extended version of Lord of the Rings: Return of the King. I’ve already seen it many MANY times but my dad has been bugging me forever to watch the Ext.Edition. I didn’t mind watching it again but I’m in the middle of the Kingdom Hearts drawing so I didn’t want to break away from it. Ah well. Oh, and I'm still not telling which level I'm doing the drawing based on. Heehee! It's too much fun having people try to guess. So far, not a single person has guessed the right world. Perhaps a hint? Hmmmm...the world it's based on has a lot of singing in the original movie? Ha! Doesn't help, does it? Hmmmm...here's one! Forks. Yep, forks.

Today, I picked up a piece for my costume…oh wait, I forgot to tell you guys I got my Tifa costume!! I actually got it almost 2 weeks ago. The day after my birthday no less! The costume is AMAZING! Everything fit great except for the white shirt that goes under the black vest. It was too wide so I went to the same seamstress I always go to for alterations since I’m a string bean and nothing ever is small enough to fit around my waist. She altered that part with no problems though^_^

After that, I went to the mall to pick up that game I was talking about yesterday called Bujingai and boy, was it hard to find. But everytime I asked a worker if they had it, they got all excited telling me what a great game it was but it’s a rarity. I did find it though and I’ve been playing it and it’s so fun! They really made the main character look like Gackt…but with red hair. I also went to the calendar store(since everything is 50% off) and bought a FMA, Pirates of the Caribbean, and an all Legolas calender^_^ I got them just to pull out the pictures inside and hang them up. I have my Fruits Basket one to use as the regular calendar^_^

Quote of the Day comes from Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring:
Elrond: “Nine companions…so be it. You shall be the Fellowship of the Ring.”
Pippin: “Great!.....Where are we going?”

Lookie, new theme! I loved the old one but I had that Inuyasha theme for a few months so I thought it was time for a change and D.N.Angel entertains me^_^ I’m going to be putting up new music but I have yet to choose just the right song^^

I got bit by the Artistic bug today. Out of nowhere I got the biggest urge to do a drawing from the video game, Kingdom Hearts. I got a few of the characters drawn and it is set in my favorite level in the game. But which level? Heh heh…not tellin.’^_~ I think I may have mentioned which level in Kingdom Hearts was my favorite but I doubt any would remember. All I know is that most people hate this level but I loved it! I hope to have the drawing done soon^^
I had a great time at the New Years party at my friend’s house! I was there till 4:00am. My friend(the Johnny Depp looking one I mentioned before) was showing me this video game called Bujingai and it is so fun! I mean, it’s basically just going around killing things with a sword but they made it all pretty. He later told me the main character of the game was modeled after the singer, Gackt and they had video interviews with him on the game and we watched them. My friend, Gavin had seen a picture of Gackt once before and didn’t believe he was real. He thought he looked too perfect. Then while watching the video interview with him, Gavin was still sitting there saying, “No, he’s not real. Can’t be. No way.” Haha! Silly boy.

Quote of the Day comes from Mystery Science Theater 3000:
Woman: *wheeping* “He died! He died! He died! He died!”
Mike Nelson: “Did he live?”

I support the Sasuke/Sakura relationshop^_^

Cripes, it’s 2am! I just got back from a friend’s house and knew that I wouldn’t be home Saturday evening so I figured I should update now so I’m not missing from Otaku for 3 whole days. Does anyone have any plans for New Years? I’m going to a party at my friend’s house…which happens to be the house I was just at tonight. Heh. But it will be ever so much fun and since I doubt I’ll be updating on the 1st so here’s a cute New Years picture Chrno Crusade style!

Friday, I spent a good 4 hours on the phone with the Verizon Company trying to get an internet hook-up for my new apartment I’ll be moving into soon. I wont get into the specifics since it gives me a headache just thinking about it but I will have DSL and I’m now $218 in the hole since I need to pay for the hook-up fees and all that crap>_<
Oh, tonight at my friend’s house, we watched FFVII: Advent Children since I have the DVD and a bunch of them never have seen it and they’re all guys so they thought the fight scenes were awesome and naturally, they thought Tifa was hot. My one friend who we call Mr.Jones, looks like Johnny Depp. I need to post a picture of him sometime for you guys to see…it really is amazing how much he looks like him…not that I’m complaining of course^_~ But he said he wants to get his hair cut and colored to look like Kadaj’s…DROOL! I told him I would love him forever if he got his hair done like that.

We then discussed how great it would be if Captain Jack Sparrow was in Lord of the Rings. I’m thinking of doing a little comic based on that discussion since it’s just so great. One part would involve Jack Sparrow going up to Legolas saying, “You look familiar...” Heh…I hope you guys get that reference:-P

And also…
