Mmmmmm…spicy nacho Doritoes…I love these.
Well, I was planning on lying by the pool all day but instead I sat on my butt and drew. Which isn’t a bad thing because I got another line-art piece done! You know, it looks like it could technically be finished but I’m a nut and need to complete and color it. This drawing is of Tohru, Yuki and his older bro, Ayame from Fruits Basket. I had realized that I never really drew a picture of my 2 fave Fruba characters which are the brothers! For shame. And I want to point out that I was NOT attempting to make this looks exactly like the anime and/or manga. I was sorta stylizing it but still making it looks like them, you know what I mean? And this was also outlined using your everyday Bic pen that everyone has lying around their house. Enough babbling, here’s the LINK!
Animaniacs Quote of the Day:
Michelangelo: “I am the great Michelangelo and this is the Sistine Chapel!”
Yakko: “Oh yeah, if you’re so great what did you do with the other fifteen chapels?”
Heehee! I was rummaging through my pictures and relocated this banner that my friend had made for me after I made the mistake of telling him my fave Fruba character was Yuki...some of you may remember this one:

Wow! I’m glad that so many of you recognize the new music on my site! I actually didn’t think you guys would really notice but those who did were like, OMG!! Yes, it’s from Edward Scissorhands and kudos for those who knew it! Then again, I think the title appears after awhile and tells you but, meh, it still impressed me^_^
Guess what I found out about the Kingdom Hearts 2 game?!!! You know how in the first KH, you would visit different worlds that revolved around Disney movies and one of the characters from that movie would help you fight? Well, in KH2, one of the worlds is Pirates of the Caribbean!!! And Jack Sparrow is the character that fights alongside you!!!! SCREECH!!! I CAN’T WAIT!!!! I really hope they nab Johnny Depp to do the voice for it too.
And I would like to point out that my dear Otaku buddy, Jigglyness is holding an Otaku contest and anyone can join!! Just visit her SITE and find out more details!
Animaniacs Quote of the Day:
Yakko has just been appointed King of the country, Anvilania and is giving his first speech to his people:
Yakko: “Ladies and Gentlemen of Anvilania, I stand before you because if I stood behind you, you couldn’t see me.”
*Ba-doom-domp-chink!*…my attempt at the drum-beat after a corny joke.
Chrno and Rosette went roller-blading and didn’t invite me? Feh!

Wohoo!! It’s Friday!!! The one day a week I go skipping to work because it’s PAYDAY!!! Plus, I don’t have to work overtime this weekend so I actually have 2 full days off which will be splendidly pleasant.
For those people who commented on my site on last post, don’t worry, I shall get to you all. I usually can make it to everyone’s site who come to mine in a span of 2 days but I went to a friend’s house for the evening so I wasn’t around. And for those who asked who are the voices behind the Willy Wonka Welcome Song…they are actually NOT the Oompa Loompas. They are these creepy as hell, old-looking animated, dolls. This part was supposed to be a parody of the dolls that sing ‘It’s a Small World After All’ at the Disney theme parks. Except these guys had the Tim Burton touch that had a rather demonic, pyro twist to it at the finale^_^
And I should have guessed that this question would be brought up a butt-load of times which was, where did I find the song and how did I get it on my site? Well, I have the soundtrack and I have a program that rips the audio of my CD’s and converts them into MP3’s. Since MP3’s are often too big to plop onto websites, I import them into Adobe Premiere, compress them, and export them as smaller windows media player audio and then I upload them onto a private audio/video sharing account that gives me the html code I copy and paste into Otaku and it will play. Allllllrighty then?
So what are your guy’s plans for the weekend? Mine is too relax by the pool and read…and wear LOTS of sunscreen…and maybe draw^_~

Well, since SO many of you told me to put the Willy Wonka Welcome Song on my site, I shall do just that! But I have it so you have the *option* of listening to it rather then forcing you to. I’m warning you though, this song is INSANELY catchy and it’s probably 98.999% guaranteed you’ll have this song stuck in your head for a day or two. If you don’t have Windows Media Player, then you wont be able to listen to it, sorry! If you don’t have it you SHOULD get it because it’s free and fan-diddly-tastic. You can just push stop on the music in my profile and then push play on this one below:
And because I know all of you enjoy typing parts of this song in my comment box, here’s the whole song for you…all I need is that little bouncy thing to follow the words so you can sing along^_~
Willy Wonka, Willy Wonka…
The amazing Chocalatier.
Willy Winka, Willy Wonka…
Everybody give a cheer!
He’s modest, clever, and so smart,
He barely can restrain it.
With so much generosity,
There is no way to contain it…
To contain it…to contain…to contain…to contain.
Willy Wonka, Willy Wonka…
He’s the one that you’re about to meet.
Willy Wonka, Willy Wonka…
He’s a genius who just can’t be beat.
The magician and the chocolate wiz…
The best darn guy who ever lived…
Willy Wonka here he is!
And those who have seen the movie know the hilarious ending to this little song...heehee, c’mon! You know you were hoping that would happen^_~
Whew! My post looks longer then it really is now thanks to those lyrics. Anywho, speaking of music, at work, the head-hanchos have been going around the building so that means that they turn off all the music in the rooms to make us look professional. Which SUCKS!! 8 hours of listening to nothing but the hum of the machines and the hiss or the air locks. Wohoo. So instead of listening to nothing, many of the people I work with decide to sing instead. So, I get to listen to quite the variety from Brittany Spears to 100 Bottles of Beer on the Wall. And I should add that not all of them have the best voices. I’m trying to decide which is worse? Listening to nothing or listening to a bunch of adults attempt to sing…hmmmm...
And a random cute picture of Inuyasha and Miroku to end this post:

Yes, people. An 80 gig hard drive + an 80 gig hard drive makes it 160gigs. *gives cookies for those who figured that out.*^_~
I’ve had the Willy Wonka Welcome(whoa say that 8 times fast) Song stuck in my head ALL day. I had bought the soundtrack and you better believe that song is on there. I should torture you guys and make that the song on my site^_~ For all those who mentioned how much they loved the music in the movie, it’s by Danny Elfman and he does the music for all Tim Burton movies from Edward Scissorhands to Beetlejuice to Big Fish, he does them all!! And for those who haven’t seen Tim Burton movies(for shame) he has done the theme songs for The Simpsons, Futurama, and did the music for the Spiderman movies. Elfman is awesome and I always can recognize his tunes. They’re very surreal and fantasy-like. Oh and many said I should see the original Charlie and the Chocolate Factory…c’mon people, what do you take me for? Of course I’ve seen the original! And I have read the book. Feh!
My grandmother’s 90th birthday was Saturday and thank goodness my 2 brothers and my sister were there or else I’d have no one to talk to under the age of like, 50. The best part of the party was at the end when we were cleaning up and one of the helium balloons got loose and was stuck on the ceiling and what were the men’s bright idea to get this balloon down? Why throw knives at it of course! And better yet, why not try and catch the knife as it falls back down?! *shakes head* All the women were like, “what the hell?” But don’t worry, no one got hurt^_^
I have this wall scroll^_^ It’s one of the faves that I own I may add:

I got my new computer!! Wohoo!! I love it so far, well, then again I’ve only had it for 2 days now but still! My old computer roared like a jet plane taking off and this one purrs like a kitten. So long Comcrap!! *waves goodbye* The guy at the computer store told me if I wanted to keep the old one or let them have it and use it for spare parts. He said if I kept it I could use it as a nice paperweight. *snicker* And he had transferred all my files onto this one for free and installed my old hard drive so I still have all my documents as well as an additional 80G added to this already 80G hard drive which is pleasant. Let’s hope that this was $800 well spent! *pets it*
I saw Charlie and the Chocolate Factory today, er, yesterday by the time most read this and I really enjoyed it! I mean, it wasn’t a movie that involved much “thinking,” in other words, you could just sit back and enjoy the show. Johnny Depp is my hero, he really has the ability to pull off any character and I love the parts when he kept on slamming into the glass elevators. There was a group of teenagers behind us that got a total kick every time that happened so it made it even more funny. Plus, it just kept reminding me of how this one bird kept slamming into our sliding glass door^_^
Animaniacs Quote of the Day:
In this episode, a pilgrim was after the Warner’s pet turkey to serve as their Thanksgiving meal…you can bet how well that went^_~:
Pilgrim: “Give me the bird!”
Yakko: “We’d love to, really, but the censor’s won’t allow it.”
For those who don’t know, to ‘give the bird’ means to give someone the middle finger^_^

The Yuki Club has 130 members!!
WOHOO!! We could be one hell of a cult...but I’m not that psycho. I changed the 'taking over the world' banner in my profile too. I figured every 20 members I would upgrade the banner just for the hay of it. And I changed my quote of the week to a teary Yuki quote to mark the occasion^_^
I officially have a nickname at work. It’s Olive Oil! *snicker* One of my co-workers was looking at me and says, “There is some cartoon character you REALLY remind me of…” And I said, “Is it Olive Oil?” And he goes, “OMG YES!!!” Ha! Olive Oil is from Popeye for those who don’t know for some reason. That was my nickname at my 1st job back in the day when I worked at Burger King...yes feel free and laugh. WORST JOB EVER! Anywho, I’m tall, scrawny, and have black hair so people just associate me with her. And then another coworker thought I looked just like her niece while another thought I looked like a younger Cher because of my big eyes and long hair...I’ve been told I look like SO many people it’s scary. The biggest compliment is when I’m told I look like an elf from Lord of the Rings which I get a lot. That makes me grin. But I think I have a face that for some reason can look like many. I wonder if I could use that to my advantage…starts plotting evilly.
What about you guys? Are you told that you look like someone?
Animaniacs Quote of the Day:
Ned: “Why are you acting like this?!!!”
Yakko: “We’re not acting, we really are like this.
In honor of all the love I’ve been getting from my latest D.N.Angel drawing, here’s a kickin’ D.N.Angel picture! This has always been one of my faves. Don’t know why, I just love it:

*Falls on floor*
I haven’t looked at my stats in awhile and nearly passed out when I saw what my numbers were up too! Yes, I know the stats are right there in front of my face in my backroom but I’m not very observant. Thanks guys! *HUG*
Thanks so much for your comments on my latest drawing! Holy moly!! It seems like this has become a favorite of many and that makes me happy. And many have said that it has inspired them to work on their own artwork and that’s the deepest honor to me. I always try and help people out and encourage people to work on art and if this is the way to do it, then it’s a-okay with me! And it’s nice to see that in a world that’s becoming dominated by computer-created artwork, there’s still a high respect for those who do artwork entirely by hand. *HUG AGAIN!*
Man, I’m all sappy today what the heck is going on?
The weather was so gorgeous Sunday!! Most would find it too hot but apparently I’m from hell or something because I enjoy the unbearable heat. I went swimming in our pool and you better believe I slapped on 80 layers of sunscreen. I learned my lesson! It’s highly amusing to look at my legs I must admit. The day my legs got scorched, I was wearing a skirt and there’s a perfect line that separates where my skirt ended and my sunburn began. It’s like WHITE LEGS and then...not to be racist but then BLACK LEGS! I hope it de-tans a bit because it looks really funky to me.
Animaniacs Quote of the Day…and read it carefully or you may miss why it’s funny:
Dr. Scratchnsniff: “Okay, we will now work on our diction. How do we avoid bad elocution?”
Yakko: (raises hand) “Stay inside during a lightning storm.”
Hahahaha! *wipes tears* Oh dear, Yakko’s retorts are so lame I love it.
I know I usually post anime pictures here but I found this picture to be highly amusing:

I watched a lot of Rurouni Kenshin today. Like the gif I made? It comes from the ending titles later in the series and I thought it was such a spiffy shot of him. That anime is another one of those kinds that just suck you in. I finally got to the episode where we meet the one girl Misao. Boy is she a riot!! She called Kenshin, amongst other things, "carrot-top!" Heehee!!
I finished the D.N.Angel drawing!! I uploaded it yesterday around 4:30pm or so and I know some of you already have seen it. *thanks by the way to those who left those wonderful comments!!* It took me forever to do. This one probably gets the award for taking the longest of any anime drawing I have ever done. Here’s the link to it: Here!
Comments and votes are always highly appreciated^_^
And I know some of you have asked for larger versions of my artwork and the much bigger version of this piece can be found in my DeviantArt gallery right Here!
And, obviously, you can see more details in the DeviantArt piece as well. The only thing that disappoints me about this is not the drawing itself but the scan. For some reason, no scanner I have ever used has been able to scan the color purple properly. In the original piece, the lavenders are much bolder and less blue-ish. You can see it the most in Dark’s hair. Ah well, what can you do?
Animaniacs Quote of the Day:
This episode is a parody of Beauty and the Beast and Dot falls in love with the "Beast" who happens to be the Tazmanian Devil from Looney Tunes:
Dot: "C’mon, admit it!! We’d make the perfect couple! Like Bougart and Boucaw! Romeo and Juliet..."
Yakko: "Timmy and Lassie."
I’ve always loved this picture of Kenshin and Kaoru:

My sunburn from Sunday is feeling better and thanks for everyone’s sympathy. It was horrible though the past few days after that post. I could barely walk and couldn’t wear pants or anything. Now, they itch like a mother trucker. Oh and for those who bragged about how they never get sunburns, well, I *used* to never get sunburns either...I also used to love eating eggs. Your bodies change people!!! I *used* to be able to be out in the sun for hours and never get burned. *sigh*
I’m almost done with that D.N.Angel drawing!! Remember the line-art piece I posted in my gallery? I finally took the time to start coloring it. I have it all done but one wing. The other wing took me about 3-4 hours to do! I told you guys I’d be kicking myself for adding those wings into the piece at the last minute and I sure am. I think it’s turning out awesome though if I do say so myself and I often do not enjoy gloating about my own art. Anywho, I hope to have it done by Sunday’s update^_^
So, I was listening to the radio on my way to work and I hear this new song that I thought was really nice and I actually enjoyed. I then learned the title which is ‘Incomplete’ and then I learned the performers of it...the BACKSTREET BOYS!!! Holy schiznet! Talk about a blast from the past. I haven’t heard that name since I was in high school. I think BSB 1st appeared when I was in 7-8th grade and then they disappeared around my senior year when Nsync took over their popularity. Man, if Nsync begins coming out with new songs, I’m going to swear I was abducted and thrown into a time portal.
Animaniacs Quote of the Day:
Brain: "Pinky, are you pondering what I’m pondering?"
Pinky: "Eh, I think so, Brain. But me and Pippy Longstocking? I mean, what would the children look like?"
I always thought Yuki looked spiffy in this shot^_^
