Ok, WAY too many people misunderstood what I was saying in my last post about the whole comments thing. I was NOT ranting about lack of comments as a whole. I was NOT ranting about people not updating their sites. Here, let me map out a scenario for you guys to clear things up: Let's say you and your "friend" update on the same day. You go to their site and comment but then they never come back to you. And then the same situation happens over and over with them not coming to your site even though they have updated the same day as you. Got it? That’s what I was ranting about. Okey dokey, ardichockie?

Anywho, I was asked by the Historical Society to create the illustrations for their special Halloween brochure. It’s cool because I was given the stories and asked to illustrate something based on them. There are 3 stories all together and I’ve finished one so far and here it is:

This story is called ‘The Devil’s Elbow’ also called ‘The Lady in White’ and it’s based on a ghost story of a girl who will hitch hike rides and then disappear in the vehicles leaving flower petals in the place where she was sitting. Pretty spooky but I’m excited because this is my first truly published work and I’m hoping it will lead to more job opportunities. I’m also happy because they had seen my work amongst a gallery of about 20 other professional artists and they all liked mine the best and asked me to do it! That makes me feel all warm and fuzzy^_^
