So, I have a Fruits Basket calendar and I flipped it over for May and I couldn’t help but grin…this month, depicts the image of when Yuki, Shigure, and Kyou transform back into their human forms so…yeah…lots of Sohma skin! If only that smoke would clear away a little more…feh.
Question of the Day: Do you have something from your childhood you refuse to let go?
My answer…indeedith, I still have my baby blankey my grandma knitted for me. I still sleep with it to this very day. *blushes*

So, at work, I was on the phone helping a customer and so more customers who were in the store began gathering around my information desk. So, I get done with the customer on the phone and help the first person who was waiting in line. I get done with her and this lady, who was about 40 years old and African American, looks over at the other girl I just helped and says obnoxiously loudly and full of sarcasm, “Oh yeah, I see how it is. Help the white girl first since they’re superior, huh?” I just gaped at the lady and said to her, “Ma’am, this isn’t a racial issue, she was first in line!” The girl I had helped turned to the lady and basically said the same thing. The older lady got all huffy and left. I mean, seriously…what is wrong with some people! The other day, a lady called me a “white bitch” because we were closed and she refused to leave! I just don’t understand it…why bring up racial issues at all? I have no problem what-so-ever with black people until they get mad and then start calling me racist names but am I allowed to say something back? Heck no, I would be splayed all over the floor if I were to say something.
I hate to bring up racism but it’s just something that I don’t tolerate well. *hands everyone cookie dough ice cream for listening to my rant*

Quote of the Day comes from The Simpsons:
Homer: “Kids, you tried your best and you failed miserably. The lesson is…never try.”
