I’m so sleepy. So so sleepy. I had to open at work this morning so I had to lug me butt outta bed at 5:15am. I had gone to bed a little after midnight. Didn’t fall asleep till after one and then I slept like total crap because there was a big thunder storm outside that kept waking me up and on top of that I kept having nightmares that the girl from The Exorcist was attacking me and cornering me and trying to gouge out my neck. Yeah, so I didn’t sleep very well.
Question of the Day: Who’s your all time favorite cartoon character? And yes, it can be an anime character^_^
My answer: Yakko Warner from the Animaniacs. His cheesy puns and slap stick humor never ceases to entertain me.^^
So at work, I was heading up the escalator and a lady in front of me turns and asks, “Where is your DVD and music section?” I tell her, “We don’t have a music section. We only have books on music but not the music itself.” She looks totally puzzled and said, “But…Barnes & Noble has a music section.” And I reply, “Yes, some Barnes & Nobles have a music department, this one does not.” She looks quite dumbfounded and asks, “Are you sure?” My patience at this point was beginning to diminish and I reply, “Yes, I’m sure.” She stares at me and says, “No really, I know there’s a music section here.” *smacks forehead* I tell her, “Ma’am, I work here, there is NO music section.” Once again she asks, “Are you sure?” Gah! My head. And I tell her, “Ma’am, unless I pull back one of these bookcases and find a magical vortex that leads me to an unknown realm that somehow has a music department on the other side, then we do NOT have a music section!” She laughed then pranced away to the café. I can’t handle common sense illiterate people. Asking me if I was sure? What the hell…
Quote of the Day comes from Jack Handey:
“Broken promises don’t upset me. I just think, why did they believe me?”
