   Emmah's Random Ramble

Time: 6.28 in the pm Mood: OW! Song: Never Gonna Take Me Down - Beyblade It hurts. Really bad. My wrist is completely fucked. Well, at least it’s my left wrist and not my right. I’m right-handed, y’see? But now it’s harder for me to spell (even though I’m writing this up on word) because I can’t use my left hand as it hurts every fucking time I move it. I do have a bandage on it, though, so it should heal soon. Also, do you know what this means? I’m gonna have to have a list of people to comment again, as somehow I don’t think I’ll get very far with a fucked-up wrist. I do tend to use my left hand more when I’m typing than my right… dunno why. Actually, my injury reminds me of Natsuki Tayaka’s injury and she had to go to hospital to have her drawing hand operated on. Ironically, it was her left hand she hurt, too. But this was years ago. And for those who don’t know, Natsuki is the mangaka of Fruits Basket. I was going to write this post later when I’m completely wasted. I woke my Dad up with the chinking of my alcohol when I got home XD So, yeah. It’s all gonna be drank tonight *nod nod*. But then my wrist fucked up, and I thought, eh, I may as well post now, and so here I am. Nothing to write about though. *Thinks of another question* erm… cam you remember your first favourite band? Heh, I can. Other than Bon Jovi, of course, my very first favourite band was The Pet Shop Boys. CRINGE. My Dad just walked into the living room “clearing his throat” and I looked at him, and he has that stupid bloody smirk on his face, and he was EATING my chocolate! Then he was like “I hope you don’t have alcohol in that cup. You’re not old enough to drink”. Father, I am 18, you were the one to buy me my fist LEGAL drink (heh) so you can’t actually say that to me. And for anyone who asks, I actually am old enough to drink alcohol lmao. How else would I have got the alcohol? You got remember here in England you only have to be 18 to buy alcohol. It rocks =3 AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!! I moved my fucking wrist and now it’s killing me. I don’t think I’ve done too badly spelling-wise (heh, spell check XD). Time: 11.39 in the am Mood: Happy Song: November Rain - Guns ‘n’ Roses Heh, I liked reading all your answers to that question of mine yesterday XD I dunno. It felt nice, because I wasn’t reading comments on how my day went and stuff. It made a change. Shall I talk about work? I think I’ll give it’s own little paragraph in each post, just to make it feel… Loved. Me + Nat = disaster. I bought eyeballs. Do not even ask. Nat dared me to, so I did. I don’t even like the damn things! Anyway, Nat found a leaflet on dance classes. Including cheerleading. She got all excited and said we should go. Only problem is, it’s £24 a class, and it’s on a Wednesday, 6pm until 7pm. I’m at work then, so I can’t go anyway XD I didn’t get home until 20 to midnight last night. I wasn’t impressed, and I’m not gonna go into details, but it was all Andrea’s fault. I have another question for you, and then I shall end the post XD Can you remember your first crush?? If not, can you remember who your earliest crush was?? Now, oddly enough, I can remember my first crush, vaguely, but I can’t remember what happened 3 days ago. My memory’s so fucked up. Anyway, I was in reception class (or was it Year 1...?) so I would’ve been about 5. Yeah. And I remember this dude I really liked. I think he was blonde, and he wore classes. And I vaguely remember cornering him behind a bookshelf and then he cried because I tried to kiss him. I can remember playing kiss chase with all the guys as well. Time: 11.52 in the am Mood: Tired Song: Stay Together For The Kids - Blink 182 (I lobe this song XD) Well, hello! Today, I WILL get round to commenting you all back ^^ Also, I have realised my posts are full of random crap and my nights at work. You don’t want to read about that (or do you? XD). And OHMIGOD, what happened to my post yesterday? It’s never done that before. And I found 26 more cents last night at work XD So, today. I have a question for you. How did you find out about MyOtaku?? Well, I had a friend on MySpace who was a DragonBall Z fan (strangely enough, he was from America XD), and he posted DBZ quiz results from MyO in bulletins and on his MySpace site. So I clicked on the quiz results, which obviously brought me to the MyO quiz page, and I did some of the MyO quizzes, too. Then I realised MyO was a site for people who love anime, and you could join up, and have your own site. I distinctly remember getting all excited about it (LOL!). Which is amazing, since it was over a year ago, now. Also, the first site I made, I broke XD I tried putting HTML in the wallpaper URL bit. Yeah, I was REALLY retarded back then XD But now I have this one and it’s super-duper ^^ Also, can you remember who your first friend was?? I can, but she doesn’t talk to me anymore =( I can’t remember how she spelt her name but it was something like kaizdarkangel (on MySpace her name was Squirrel - I think I have her still added).    Emmah's Random Ramble

Time: 1.21 in the pm Mood: HAPPY! Song: Buried Myself Alive - The Used Heh heh. Thank you for your comments ^^ Heh. My Furuba mangas didn’t arrive yesterday, but they HAVE arrived today =D That ish why I am so happy =D I heard the letterbox flap and I went “ooooh post!” (I seriously get excited every time there’s post!), and I ran into the hall (I was in the kitchen washing up XD), and there were two letters on the floor (both for Mother), and I went “ooh nooo, the mangas haven’t come”. So I put Mum’s letters on the living room table (where I am now, actually - I’m not sat on the table, but I’m in front of it, lmao), and then I thought to myself “but the letterbox flap made a really loud noise, as though someone had used it to get our attention or something”, so I peered through the door window down onto the path, and the yellow bucket (which is outside, God knows why) was right in front of the door. So I thought to myself “I’m sure that wasn’t there earlier”, so I unlocked the door (I keep the door locked all day until Mum comes home - I trust no one. And am very paranoid lmao) and opened it, and there was a parcel leaning against the door, and the bucket was there to hide it (so it didn’t get stolen in case we were out - which I’m not) (I also think I’ve just left the bucket there LMAO) so I picked up the parcel, re-locked the door and started dancing around the kitchen, and to be honest, I wasn’t listening to music that was very danceable to. I do believe I was listening to Always by Bon Jovi. Oh well XD As for that dream, the one where I got shot, now I think about it, it was pretty damn funny. “Do you want a cup of tea, oh wait, it might just fall out of you”. My Dad would actually say that in real life, though XD OH.MI.GOD. I was looking for Kai fanfics yesterday (obsessed?), and I found one with Tala in it (and everyone else of course) and Tala and Kai were sharing a flat or something. And. It. Was. So. Funny. It’s possibly one of the funniest fanfics I have EVER read. If not THE funniest. The first chapter, “Fun With Mr Red”, well, I was quite literally wetting myself at… The second chapter was funny, too, but the third and fourth chapters… Well, it still had SOME humour, but took a more serious turn, lol. And I read it after I got home from work last night. I am not joking… Talking of work, actually… Last night it was me, Steph and the boss, Tony. Steph complained that Tony was in too good a mood. He said it was because she was working. She then said he was always miserable when she was working. He replied with “no, I’m happy when you’re working, I’m only miserable when you’re not working”. He then said to me “how could you?” I was completely and utterly bamboozled and said “how could I what?” and he goes “not bail me out last night. Why did you have to leave me stuck with your mother?” I told him I didn’t want to work a Monday night XD When Steph left, she paid for some things with her bank card, and when I took it out of the swipey thing (I actually don’t know what the swipey thing for cards is called 0_o) and said “Steph, why is your bank card bent?” and she goes “oh, that’s because I sat on it”. I was quite literally wetting myself. Tony then said “you know what that means, don’t you? It means you’ve got a big-” and at that point Steph went “oh shut up”. We laughed. And laughed. And laughed . Later on, went I got kicked off tills by Tony (he does it all the time lmao. Kicks me off to face up the entire shop *rolls eyes*) I was going around facing everything, and I got to the milk, and the bell rang. So I went to see what El Bossio wanted, and all he wanted was to ask “how far have you got?”. He does it ALL the time. Well, I’m not getting very bloody far with him ringing the effin bell all the time, am I? Anyway, I returned to milk… Went to face up the 4 pint greeners (semi-skimmed XD), and made a horrifying discovery. Some milk had leaked. Scrap that, A LOT of milk had leaked. At that point I completely lost my head and was going “OHMIGOD! I need tissue! No, a mop! No, I do need tissue! Oh my God! Where’s the leaking carton! Ahhh!” the poor customers must’ve thought I was mad. I went and got some tissue, but the was so much milk I just went and got Tony to do it XD Neither of us found the split milk 0_o We actually couldn’t find it. Tony said someone must’ve bought it, but I thought “well, if they’d’ve bought it, it would’ve leaked all over the tills when being scanned, right?”. There was no milk on the tills, and I don’t ever remember there being any milk on the tills 0_o So it’s possibly still on the shelf somewhere, left for the people on the early shift this morning (I.e. Richard, my Mum, and mad-as-a-hen-who-quit-smoking-yesterday June). Then there was the magical elves thing. OhmifuckingGod that was hilarious. After I finished facing the entire bloody shop, I went on the hunt for the Magical Elves (that isn’t as weird as it sounds and I wasn’t wasted or stoned XD). The Magical Elves are these little chocolates, a bit like Freddos, but in the shape of Elves, and they have that popping candy within the chocolate. I’m sure you know which popping candy I mean. When you eat it, it pops in your mouth. Anyway, the Magical Elves are Christmas stock, so I was looking all around the top shelves and the Christmas stands and I just couldn’t find the bloody Elves. Then I returned to the tills. And found them. They’re below the bloody tills, aren’t they? So of course I wouldn’t have seen them XD Anyway, I started singing about the Magical Elves. Of course, Tony thought I’d officially lost it by then and he was like “what the hell are you on?!” then these two chavs came in the shop, and I was still looking at the Elves, and singing about them, and Tony goes “she’s a raving lunatic, this one” to the two chavs we don’t even know!! Thank you. Anyway, I persuaded Tony to let me buy an Elf, and he goes “yes, ok, as long as you’re going to pay for it”, and he goes to scan it, and I go “can I go get my purse, first?” and he just shouts “OH FOR GOD’S SAKE!”. I love winding him up. He also loves winding me up. Anyway, I bought my Elf (and 4 pints of milk and some hot chocolate - bloody Mother ringing me up to tell me to buy some bloody milk, but I bought hot chocolate because I wanted to) and then still stood there looking at them, and I go “wow! They’re all different! There are different Elves!” and Tony goes “yes. That’s why they’re called Magical ELVES. If it was just one elf, they’d be called Magical Elf, wouldn’t they?”. I have to admit, that shut me up. Lmao. Anyway, when we’d closed the shop, Tony was about to take off Till 2 (meaning he was about to close it, and note down how much money was in there and stuff) and he took out a silver coin, that was the same size as a 10p, but wasn’t a 10p. It was a quarter. From America. That got me all excited again because I was like “it’s a quarter! From America! Where Americans are! And they use these!”. I was completely and utterly mad last night XD Anyway, a quarter is 25cents, right? Which means I now have (Tony let me keep the quarter XD) about 27cents. As I have one or two other cents. I’m well on my way to coming to America. With my 27cents XD … What can I buy over there with 27 cents? Not a lot, I’m guessing XD Well, I’m off. I need to read my mangas, get ready for work, and find food *rolls eyes*. Oh no, wait. I have another can of lung tubes in the larder. I’ll have that before I go to work. Time: 9.09 in the am Mood: Rushed Song: Stay Together For The Kids - Blink 182 R.I.P. Blink 182 T_T Tom Delonge is evil. He stole 30 Seconds to Mars’ bassist. Lmao. Argh, thank you for your comments. The list of people to comment has now grown to a page long (I’ve written a lot of people down on Microsoft Word XD), and so after this post, I shall make haste to comment you all back XD I have never said “make haste” in my life. So, my busy busy busy schedule today… I have to write this, then comment back, then I want to sign some guestbook’s (there won’t be many, since most people will be asleep when I post this, and I need to wait for my mangas to turn up (HOORAY! FURUBA 7 AND 8!! It arrived on a Tuesday last time, so hopefully it‘ll arrive today ^^), then I need to walk into town, get £60 out of the bank, come back home, have a bath, attempt to get cats in cat boxes, take them to the vets with Mum (they’ve gotta have their injections - and I’m paying as my parents are skint *rolls eyes*), then come back with the unimpressed cats, then I have to get ready for work… Gah. Also, me and Mum think Fudge has worms. She was sick the other night, and Mum was like “it looked like worms”. Mum got the cats some worming tablets now, anyway. It’s lucky Fudge looks so fat. Mum just hopes the vet doesn’t examine her, because then we’d have to pay more money for treatment *rolls eyes*. And I am not doing that. Smudge was so cute last night. Fireworks were going off near our house, and Smudge came into my room, and I was about to put my jumper on, and then Smudge crawled into it. So I was carrying her around the house with her head poking out of my jumped. It was cute. Also, for the past week, she’s come to my bed with me when I go to sleep. Must be because it’s getting cold. She came on my bed last night, and cuddled right up next to my face, and was licking my arm. She is the cutest XD Oh, I had a really bad dream last night. I had a dream that there were these people we had to kill, and they had funny shaped heads. Only, the one that was attacking me and my sister wasn’t dead, I’d only knocked it out. So I gave my gun (Wtf?) to my sister and told her to shoot the bad person. I went into the shed to get a spade (why? Possibly to bury the body =S) and just as I picked it up, I heard the gun go off. I remember smiling and thinking “good girl” (dude, I THINK in my sleep!), but then I realised blood was dripping from me. So I looked down and realised my sister had shot me instead, only, she wasn’t my sister. She was one of the bad people imitating my sister. So I ran to my house (and the hole where I’d been shot wasn’t small, I remember you could see right through me!) and it was about 3 in the morning. So I woke my Dad up and was like “Dad, I’ve been shot!”, so he got up and made himself a coffee and was like “do you want a cup of tea? Oh wait, it might just fall out of you” and I distinctly remember saying “Dad, do not make jokes right now, and can you please take me to hospital as there is part of me missing!” (The thing is, something like that would actually happen in real life - I mean the conversation between me and my Dad XD) So then my Dad was like “do you want fireworks?” (I am not joking, this really happened in my dream, and I blame Bonfire Night last night XD) and I was like “oh yeah, we can get some on the way to the HOSPITAL” and so Dad agreed, and he was driving through town and we stopped at the shop and he was like “do you want the Big Shots?” (the Big Shots are the big boxes of display fireworks) and so I was just like, whatever and just hurry up. So Dad went into TESCO, got a box of fireworks, and complained they only had one left (they’re buy one get one free, which is why he was complaining). Then we started driving along again and I go “are we going straight to Worcester Hospital?” and Dad said “No, you’re going to Pershore Hospital” (we do have a hospital, but I think it’d be better to go to Worcester in those sort of circumstances…). So we got to Pershore Hospital, and I get out of the car, and Dad hands me the fireworks and goes “oh look! You’ve bled in my car!”. Charming. Anyway, we walked into the hospital, and I don’t know whether I recovered or not, because them Mum woke me up saying she was going to work XD So… Yeah. Pretty scary dream. It scared the fuck out of me, anyway XD *Strokes screen* yummy Kai. I also keep having dreams about him. It’s weird. Kai mode has returned XD Oh, and I’ve been downloading Beyblade tunes off Wimelire. Ok, I managed to get 2. The others either don’t want to download, or they take too long *rolls eyes*. What I need… Is the Beyblade album… *Goes to Play.com* Guess how much the Let It Rip! Album is? £3.68. Three pounds fucking sixty-eight pence. I so have to make an account on Play.com and buy it. And once I make an account, my father will ask me to get stuff for him. I can just see it now. Time: 9.58 in the am Mood: Tired Song: The River - Good Charlotte One day, I will get round to commenting XD Do not fear, I have made a list of all the people I need to visit and comment (and the list will steadily grow…). XD Anyway, thanks guys for your comments. To be honest, I don’t think I’ve ever laughed so much at comments. Aki Kozu, it wasn’t your comment that made me laugh, it was your picture. I LOVE the Charlie the Unicorn video XD Twists of Rain, I seriously laughed and laughed because you said you thought your computer was gonna blow up. Heh. Talking of my music. I put the Beyblade play list up, but it doesn’t seem to work for me… Does it work for you guys? If not… Back to the one song I go *rolls eyes*. Also, Ikyuu-Nyuu-Kon, I wish I could make my post box bigger, but I don’t know how XD I’ll have a rummage around, though (oo-er). I’m a little annoyed. I’m re-watching Beyblade (I’ve become really obsessed again, I even took out my old Beyblade toys last night and looked at which Beyblades I had!), but the episodes on Veoh, well, they get stuck, but the sound carries on, then the pictures starts again, and it’s all out of time! It’s SO annoying. And it’s not just the one video, it’s ALL of them! I’d like to point out that my list of anime I’m attempting to watch is now: Bleach Sailor Moon Fruits Basket Dragonball Z Beyblade (the original season, then I’ll go onto V-Force, then G-Revolution) Throw in a couple of Ouran High School Host Club episodes here and there XD Y’know, my top priority should be Bleach, considering I’ve only watched up to episode 102, and all the other animes, well, I’ve already seen, I’m just re-watching them XD So yeah, I didn’t download any music off imeem (play listed some thing, though!), so I returned to good old illegal Limewire (or Wimelire as I keep accidentally calling it - and it’s just kinda stuck LMAO). I was looking for somewhere LESS illegal, but… Nope. Oh well… For some reason, it’s stopped working on my desktop computer. It’ll loads up and everything, but won’t download a thing. And now I’ve put it on my laptop (which I’m on at the moment - downloading XD) and it works fine 0_o How peculiar. Also. I was very sad to see a certain person delete their site. Who? Old 311 of course. She was number 1 on the Top 500 (I’m sure you’ve all seen her). And she wrote a post to say she was deleting her site, and I get online today, and she’s just… Gone. Now Elves is at Top spot XD Hmm… Well, nothing more to say XD Except I WILL comment people today XD At some point. And I’m going to have a delicious bowl of lung tubes for dinner (please tell me you all read the explanation on lung tubes, otherwise I’m just gonna sound mad)(I do anyway)(short explanation: lung tubes = macaroni cheese).    Emmah's Random Ramble

Time: 5.09 in the pm (though it may be a lot later than that when I get around to posting this XD) Mood: Psychotic. But happy Song: All Across The Nation - The Black Europeans (Beyblade music! Woohoo!) As you can blatantly see, I have changed my theme XD I may need to change the colour of the text or something? I dunno, guys, what do you think?? Yeah, I’m having an immense Kai mood recently XD No idea why, I just thought “Ahhh I remember the days when I liked Kai…. He’d be a good new theme”. Yeah. I’m currently making a new Beyblade play list of music, too, on imeem, hence why this post may be posted at like, 6 or something ridiculous XD Erm… Not really much to say, only, it’s very difficult to get a guestbook signing, Y’know?? I’ll go and sign a few people (I sign at least 10 a day) and only about 2 or 3 (if that) come back. I mean, dude… Heh. Oh yeah, my Nan’s house got burgled last night. Well, someone broke into her outhouse (she leaves the door unlocked, she’s too trusting). So technically, the didn’t break in, but Y’know, it still counts as breaking it. They’d opened one of the cupboard doors (she used to keep coal in it, but they no longer have an open fire anymore) and obviously found nothing in there. So they went out the back garden, and literally peeled open the shed door (it’s metal and has a padlock on it) upwards, and they stole my Granddad’s chainsaw and hedge trimmer. Bastards. I’ve inherited the Bayles temper, as well, so I’d better not meet them XD Anyway, we know who it was. The police know who it was. And the one policeman last night said to my Granddad “We don’t want to hear what happens to Shram (the guy who everyone thinks stole my Granddad’s stuff), but whatever you guys do, make it good”. I mean, LMAO! You’re the police, you shouldn’t say stuff like that! But everyone in the town DOES know us. Quite literally. So all we have to is ask anyone if someone’s tried to sell them a chainsaw and stuff, and Shram and co. are fucked. We went looking for Jimmy last night, too. We originally thought it was him who stole the stuff. And he might have had something to do with it. And Jemma (Jemma, Shram and Jimmy are all drug-addicts [heroin, and Jemma’s pregnant] and they nick stuff. Jimmy stole stuff from his own Mother’s house) came round my Nan’s house because the police had broken into her flat and searched the place. Guilty conscience much? So, yeah. When I see one of them, I’ll kill them XD Dad was like “what if you found out they’d nicked something of yours from down your Nan’s?” (I tend to leave stuff down there) and I replied with “I’ll fucking kill him” (my parents don’t seem to care when I swear anymore - like when we were in the car looking for Jimmy and co. and I said “he’s just a piss-faced bastard”, my Dad laughed). I’m just seeing if I can download off imeem without paying… Also I wanted to watch Fruits Basket episode 9. Veoh have DELETED the episodes!! And I ordered Fruits Basket volumes 7 and 8 from Waterstones.com XD I think that might be all. Time: 6.52 in the pm Mood: Giggly Heh. Thank you for your comments. I feel much better today. I ranted about everything that was going through my head in another blog, so all is good. Sort of XD Also, comment box still won’t work 0_o WHY? Oh yeah, it was my Granddad’s birthday yesterday, so we visited his grave. Oh, yeah, he died in 2002, so we went and put some flowers on his grave. I bought the new issue of HEAT magazine today, and read my Horoscope. It began with “As a natural scatterbrain…”, and then I was absolutely pissing myself laughing. Just because of the word “scatterbrain”. So anymore Libras out there, we’re all scatterbrains *nod nod*. So I got back from work at 11.15 last night, and decided to go on MSN and here and so on. I ended up talking to Haley (Alphonse122) until 2 in the morning *laughs*. I also managed to walk into the fridge. Just do not even ask, lmao. It was dark and I was trying to find the light switch. Heh. I have nothing more to say. Except I GOT PAID! WOOHOO! £525!!! Ok, admittedly, I only have £495 left, as I took out £30 to buy some shopping essentials (teabags [see, I AM obsessed!] with the free monkey, chocolate [one bar has already been eaten - not just by me], macaroni cheese [hahaha lung tubes], Jelly Tots [they’ve been eaten] and the new HEAT magazine and the new Kerrang! magazine).    Emmah's Random Ramble

Time: 12.40 in the pm Mood: Ill. Sad. Depressed. Dizzy. Bleh. Song: Chasing Cars - Snow Patrol Have you noticed, the song I listen to relates to my mood?? And why will comments not work for me?! I managed to see my own comments, and I go to post comments to other people, and then they don't work. I fucking give up. Just scanning another Fruits Basket fanart I drew a few days ago. Dunno why I'm bothering. And also, there's a hair in the scanner, and I can't get rid of it, and it keeps showing up. Like last time, there turned out to be a fucking cat hair. So. I managed to catch another cold. Fucking brilliant. And I'm feeling really fucked off because of someone else. Bleh. You don't want to see this side of me. You guys heard of the dolphin killings by the Japanese fishermen. Yeah. It's brought my view of Japan right down. But I still love them. But I hate that they're killing the dolphins because according to them "they should be treated like any other fish". It just reminded me horribly of the cat being drowned again. It was on thenews (not the cat, the dolphins), and where they were killing the dolphins in the cove, the sea had turned red from all the blood. It's enough to make me turn vegetarian. Except I hate vegetables. Hence why I can't. Erm... Work last night... Well. It was Halloween. We had no trick or treaters (we even had sweets ready for them), and no kids trying to buy eggs or flour (or toilet roll, Talim Soul LMAO). Ok. I just attempted to go see the fanart so I can get the thumbnail, and apparently I've followed an invalid link or the artwork isn't up on the site anymore. Yeah. Everything's just going from bad to worse, isn't it? If it turns out it doesn't go up... I'll just re-submit it tomorrow. All I need now is for this post to delete (I'm not writing it up on Word, as I'm not on my laptop, I'm on the desktop, and Desktop doesn't have Word that works). No, my fanart isn't going up.    Emmah's Random Ramble

Time: 10.11 in the am Mood: Giggly Song: We Got It Going On (With Big & Rich) - Bon Jovi 1) Who the HELL are Big & Rich? 2) What sort of lyrics are these? Ahem *quotes from Lost Highway booklet from the CD* “We’ll be bangin’ and sangin’ just like the Rolling Stones, we’re gonna shake up your souls, we’ve come to rattle your bones, ‘cause we got it going on”. I swear “sangin’” isn’t even a freakin’ word! Hahaha. I’m cool now. As cool as a cucumber. Two cucumbers in fact. Hahaha. Thank you for your comments, though, I didn’t actually expect any since I was so annoyed XD And I have done what most of you suggested, and I’m typing this in Word first. Though, knowing my luck, it’ll probably still delete. I shall not be happy if it does! Also the good thing about typing up in Word first is that it gets rid of any spelling errors (dude, nearly every word in those Bon Jovi lyrics are underlined in red!). So, in yesterday’s real post that got deleted somehow, I had A LOAD of the gorilla adverts. I had the original advert, and then some versions people have done, like put music over it so he looks as though drumming to other songs. There was even a Bon Jovi one… But I can’t be arsed to find them all again. I know I had the original drumming gorilla, then the version where he’s drumming to “Total Eclipse of the Heart” by Bonnie Tyler, and then a Jovi one. But there were some others. I also need to show you that Pot Noodle advert that I love so much. With tickets to the X Factor. Actually, I think that was another video I had put in. Not the Pot Noodle one, but it was the Gorilla again, but it was auditioning for the X Factor, and it had Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh and Danni Minogue in it. It was sooo funny. I even put it up on my Bebo. Ahh I thought work last night was gonna be crap. In fact, it was quite funny. We had silver star rose in for a couple of hours because Steph had phoned in ill. They actually asked me to start earlier. I was like “er, no”. But I was with Tony as well as SSR, and he was in a bizarrely good mood. He kept winding me up, too. Oh, and they’d got Matt in. He was also winding me up. I swear those two just see who can wind me up the most. Heh, it made me laugh when SSR had to ask me permission to sell alcohol. As she’s still not 18 but I am XD I also sold fireworks for the first time ever 0_o I dropped them, too XD And it’s Halloween tonight!! I actually thought it was yesterday, until I realised “hang on, it’s the 30th today…” I’m gonna be working, tonight, though. So no dressing up for me. But but but, in the office out the back of the shop, we have sachets (do I mean that 0_o) to drape around us saying “Happy Halloween”, and some headband thing, that have antenna coming off them. They’re orange and have purple fluff at the end of the antenna, and they have little ghosts, spiders, pumpkins or bats on the end. They’re awesome! I shall be wearing some of those tonight *laughs*. We’re also not allowed to sell flour or eggs to kids. That includes teenagers. Tony said we have to “use our better judgement”. Adults - they’re fine, they can have the eggs and flour. But the kids just buy eggs and flour to throw at people, cars, houses… Trees. I am not joking. They’re all hooligans around here. So when we get a group of teenagers come in (I feel old saying that - I’m still a teenager too!! Not in 2 years though…) and all they want is eggs and flour I’m gonna say “I’m so not selling you that”. Then they’ll get all mouthy and I’ll be like “just bog off! You’re not having them!” It rocks being able to refuse people what they want. Also, people ask for the 4 park of Duracell batteries, so we give them the 6 pack. Why? Because they’re CHEAPER! Lmao!! Our pricing schemes suck, to be quite honest. Like, one Magnum ice cream cost something like £1.14, and the box of 3 cost £1.03. WHERE IS THE LOGIC IN THAT?! And the bottles of flavoured water… The really really small bottles cost something like 30pence. The big bottles (which are the same flavour and make and everything), they only cost 41pence. 11 pence dearer, but it makes sense to buy a big bottle than, say, 3 small bottles. I think the customers are beginning ton realise it, too. So they’re not as dumb as they look XD Ohhh that bloody Mrs Roberts came in last night. She’s really old (about 70-something) and she wears the most intriguing clothes. And a hat. But she also has Alzheimer’s. And I hope you guys know what Alzheimer’s is, because it’ll give me a headache explaining. Go and Wikipedia it if you don’t know. Anyway, I got stuck serving her AGAIN (someone else can bloody do it next time) and I scanned all the shopping she wanted, put it into bags for her (we have brill service at our shop - no other shop packs your bags for you!) and then she started looking for her money. I thought “ohhhh God” and then she was like “I can’t find my money, I’ll have to come back” I told her it was fine and she could leave the shopping with us as she hadn’t paid for it. So she handed the shopping back over and then asked if it was hers. OHMIGOD SHE IS SO ANNOYING. And she kept asking “is that mine or yours?” in the end Tony was like “it’s still ours because you haven’t paid for it yet” then she went “did I bring it in?” NO YOU FUCKING DIDN’T BRING IT IN! YOU JUST WENT ROUND THE SHOP PICKING THINGS UP AND CAME TO PAY FOR IT AND YOU HAVE NO MONEY! In the end Tony was like “no, you wanted to buy this, but you don’t have any money. You didn’t bring anything in”. She eventually left and Tony went “she does my head in. I swear she’s getting worse”. Also, when she DOES have money, she’ll pay, and then be like “how much is it?” repeatedly. Then once you give her the change she’ll put it away and be like “have you given me my change?” You have to be soooo patient with her, but it wears us down, lmao. Her family don’t look after her, though. She should really have a carer, but her family have never organised one for her. It’s quite sad, actually. This one time, she only had about £6, and the shopping she wanted to buy was about £8, so the nice man being served next to her gave her some money. She was like “noooo you can’t! It’s your money!!!” and he said “no, it’s fine, I’d like someone to do the same with me one day when I get old” MY MANGA’S JUST LITERALLY COME THROUGH THE DOOR! Remember I said I couldn’t get Furuba 5 because of reprinting problems? Well, I thought “bugger it” and I’ve gone to the Waterstones website and ordered it from there ^^ And it’s just come through! Woohoo!! It takes less than a week. Buuuut something weird has happed. They’ve only charged me £6.99 (which is the price of it), but when I checked my bank account last night before I got to work, I should’ve had at least £10 left in there. I have 69pence!! So I’ve lost a tenner somewhere. And it isn’t delivery charges, because I clicked the free delivery. I’m so happy now!! I can read Furuba 1-6 now, and not get lost reading 6 XD As soon as I get paid on Friday I am: 1) Going to get those PG Tips (teabags) with the free monkey in. I love the monkey. I bought the PG Tips the last time they were giving away a free monkey, just because I wanted the monkey. You’re probably thinking “why does she want another monkey?” BECAUSE IT STICKS UP! IT HAS SUCTION PADS! I swear, I am going to collect every monkey they bring out XD 2) Order Furuba 7. It’s way cheaper online than in store. It’s over £1 cheaper online!!
