She's Back!! Warning, This Is A Long Post And Contains No Details Of My Holiday!! =O
Time: 3.17 in the pm
Mood: Crazy
Listening To: Nothing =(

(Emmah would like to say that she wrote this earlier when she didn't have internet connection, and so will add some shit onto the end of it).

Hi guys!! I’m back!! Wooooo!! Yorkland was brillopads, but I’m really glad to be back home now lol. Thank you for all your comments and stuff, though I can’t read them before writing this post, as I have no Internet at this moment of typing. I’m currently typing this post up on Ability Write (it’s like Microsoft Word). I’ll explain my lack of Internet and stuff, and I’ll tell you all about my holiday in Yorkland in my next post, OK?

Well, I came back off holiday on Friday (20th) (or yesterday, as it’s now Saturday... Yeah. Lol), and as we were coming down the motorway into the Midlands, it started literally POURING with rain, like an effing monsoon. So Chelsea and her parents drop me off at my Nan’s house, where I’m able to eat lunch and so on, lmao, and it’s still pouring with rain. Then my Nan gets a phone call off my cousin Stuart (I think it was him anyway) saying that Bernard (who lives a couple of doors away from me) has had his house flooded by all the rain, and so has his next-door-neighbour. So Nan told me, and I’m like “OH SHIT!!” So I phone my Mum at work, and there was no answer, so I phoned my Dad and told him, and he just goes “what about our house?” and I go “Well, I don’t know, obviously, I’m not there, I’m about to go down to Mum at the shop” and so Dad said “Well, I’ve gotta go home then” and he puts the phone down. So then me and my Nan run down to Tesco like loonies (yeah, my Mum works at Tesco Express too lmao), and Tony (the manager) was like “Emma, are you OK?” ‘Cause I was panting and was red-faced and everything and had just ran into the shop, so I was just like “Is Mum around?” and so Tony said “She’s around somewhere” so I ran into the back of the shop (where the office is and the staff room and all the food and stuff) and looked in the staff room, and the women in there (I didn’t register who they were lmao) were like “Your Mum’s just gone in the loo”. Gah. So I shouted through the loo “Mum, Bernard’s house is flooded” and so she was like “WHAT? *Toilet flushes* I’ve gotta go home”. And I was just kinda like, “Well, yeah...”

So me, my Nan and my Mum ran to my Mum’s car (which was difficult, seeing as the car park was flooding) and so we zoomed off over the bridge (which was also flooding and we had to go really slow) and then we noticed that my Dad was driving in front in the work van, so we were all zooming up our hill (strange isn’t it, we live on a fucking hill and we get flooded *rolls eyes*) and then we just zoom down our path (which was flooded) to the front door, and Mum went around the back of our house and got the sandbags from last time it flooded. It was soooo shit. There was like a fucking pond at the front of our house, in fact, if you looked out of front window, you could just see water down by the house. So then Dad zoomed back off to work (and btw, while all of this is happening, it’s STILL pouring with rain!) and Mum tells me to unplug everything electrical and take it upstairs, and so I do this (sulking at the same time, ‘cause I’m having to demolish my computer, and take it upstairs bit by bit. So depressing). So now everything electrical is upstairs in the various bedrooms (all 3 of them lmao). Luckily though, for me at least, I know how to plug all the various computer components in, and so that’s why I’m writing this post up today, because the computer is in my room and now only I have access to it XD Anyway, after Mum told me to unplug everything, she went down and picked up Soph from school early, and picked my holiday stuff up from Nan’s, and then came back home.

Anyway, Mum phoned the council last night because the rain was so heavy, and our house was in danger of flooding, and she asked for some more sandbags, but the bloke on the other end of the phone said they couldn’t get any more to us, because our village was now cut off from the rest of the town. Strangely though, vehicles were still coming up and down our hill *raises eyebrow*. So they lied. Anyway, Mum phoned Dad at work and told him to come home, because the council and police and everyone were thinking of closing the road over the bridge (which is basically our main way to get off our hill). So Mum went back down town to get some food supplies and stuff, and when she came back, she had food, but she was like “Tony let me have some food but I’ve gotta pay tomorrow” so I looked at her and asked why, and she just went over the table, picked up her purse and said “I forgot me purse”. I was wetting myself.

Mum then phoned Dad AGAIN (seriously, the amount of times they called each other yesterday from about 2-3pm was ridiculous) and told him to get some stuff like potatoes from Somerfield. While he was doing that Mum unplugged the T.V., the Sky, and DVD player and everything like that. We took most of it upstairs as well, except the T.V., because that was too heavy lmao. Soon, Dad came home about 3.30pm and said he’d forgotten that the bridge was flooding (how the fuck do you forget something like that?) and he took the flooded corner at 30mph, which is bad, because he was in his car this time, not his work van. The car’s OK though.

I vaguely remember Mum and Dad going back out later on as well *thinks*. I think it was for something like Dad’s deodorant. When they came back, the told me and Soph that people were driving in the middle lanes of the road because it was all flooded, but less flooded in the middle. I got a phonecall off Silver star rose as well, asking what it was like up here with the water and stuff, and I was like “It’s nearly flooding our house” and I think she was like “it’s coming into our storage room”. What makes me laugh though, is that we both live on hills, and we were both getting flooded!! She lives on a hill in town though, I live on a hill outside of town.

Holy shit, this post is just over 1 and a half pages long so far, and I haven’t even finished!! Anyway, later, SSR texted me saying that the river’s just burst it’s banks really bad, and seriously, when I looked out of Soph’s bedroom window this morning, the river looks more like a lake. OK, a helicopter just went over our house. We know it’s down by the bridges, because we can hear it. Someone’s probably got swept away. It wouldn’t surprise me.

Anyway, luckily our house didn’t flood, and the water had gone down now outside our house. Though it hasn’t actually stopped raining. So yes, I thought I’d set up the computer in my room, as I was having withdrawal symptoms lmao. I still don’t have Internet connection though, while I’m writing this =( In fact, once you’re reading this, you’ll know I’ve got Internet access once more LOL!

Mum and Dad have gone out again. I think to visit my Gran. In fact, I got a call off my Granny and she started crying, and less than a minute later, I got a call off my Gran asking for my Mum. I mean, come on, give this girl a break. I don’t know how Mum and Dad plan on getting to Evesham, they’re probably gonna take the back ways somehow, because the river has flooded now, and you can’t get down to the very bottom of our hill now, because it’s just all water, and you can’t get across the bridge now, because that’s just water. Also, we were watching the news last night (on the little T.V. we usually have in the kitchen) and it said Pershore was the second place in the country with the most rain... If you get me... Anyway, oops, I have just revealed our whereabouts, well, not mine exactly, I live just outside of Pershore. But Pershore’s completely cut off now, every road leading into it is flooded. This means that Mum can’t get to work today, and neither can I!! It’s brilliant. In fact, I phoned up work and spoke to Matt (another manager) and told him I wasn’t coming in, and he goes “why not?!” (He knew full well why not, btw, he was just joking around). After I told him that I couldn’t get down to work because of the flood anyway, he said “that’s OK, I know, the flood’s really bad, it’s nearly up to the shop”, and I was like “WHAT?!” and he goes “the car park out the back of the shop is flooded”. I was like, oh God.

Matt also said that me and Mum need to phone in to let him know when we can get into work. Yup. But it won’t be tonight, because I think we’re due for some more rain. OK, according to Shop, she can hear 2 helicopters. Yeah, my guess is that someone’s tried to get across the bridge in their 4-by-4 or something, thinking that their car could handle it, and the water’s so damn deep that they’ve just got stuck. I can just picture them now, sitting on their little roof. OK, this post (according to Ability Write) is now 2 and a half pages long. All on why I can’t get online and the flooding and stuff. I really can ramble on for ages lmao.

Hopefully Mum and Dad will come back with the new Harry Potter book for me, if they don’t, then that’s cool. I can wait. I don’t mind having to wait for it if they can’t get it for me. Just, I don’t want anyone who’s already read it, to tell me what happens. I’ll be seriously pissed if anyone does lol. Ohmigawd, I’ve just realised I can’t watch anymore anime today, as I have no Internet. OK, when I do, and when I’ve posted this to you guys, I’m seriously going on a anime-marathon. Again. Lol. So, I think I’ve made this long enough already *laughs*, and I haven’t even told you about my holiday yet. That’ll be in my next post, as I can’t be bothered to write it in this one and keep you any longer lol. I’m off now. Hope you guys have all been OK and I hope you’re glad I’m back *laughs at me*. I know I’m sure glad I’m back. Even though it’s raining and the house nearly flooded... Anyway... *Waves* tatty bye!!

P.S. My parents very nearly didn't come back home, as all the roads are being closed and are flooded and stuff. Look through these pictures if you want to see the full damage =(

Anyway, I do have the new Harry Potter book, Chelsea has already spoiled it for me, revealing the end. Thanks Chels. I'm not allowed to read the book yet anyway, as Mum's reading it first *rolls eyes*.

And more to do with this flooding situation... I now have my Uncle stopping at my house 'cause he can't get home, my Auntie Doris is stopping at my Nan's house because her own house is in danger of being flooded, and Laura's (Betteh.) house... Is flooded apparently. Yes, Silver star rose, her house is flooded. I'm not supposed to tell anyone, but how can I not?? Laura's on holiday as well, and she won't be back until around 1st of August. This is all seriously fucked up shit. I'm off... Bye bye!!
