Yarr!! Finally Some Holidayage Tales!! (Another Long Post)
Timeage: 9.54 in the am
Moodage: Happy
Songage: Coming Undone - Korn
So, firstly, thanks to your comments, though I didn't manage to comment back because of everything happening here. Sorry for that, I'll get to you next time, promises.
So, secondly, updatage on the rain, water and floodage things. It's starting to rain again, but on the other hand, our house is OK for now, and the bridges are no longer flooded. Sort of. The water's gone right down anyway. Only problem is, apparently one of the bridges going into Pershore (we have two, one for vehicles, and one for people to walk over, and they're right next to each other) has completely washed away. I woulodn't know though, I haven't been down. It's not the one for the vehicles though, because people are still trying to get into Pershore over the bridges, even though they're supposed to be closed *rolls eyes*.
There was also a chance that our water was going to be turned off yesterday, luckily though, it wasn't. I think Gloucester and Tewkesbury were turned off though *thinks*. Gloucestershire and Worcestershire (where we live) are apparently the worst hit counties. Oh goodo. And now more rain -_-' I want to know when the fuck I can get back to work *shakes fist*. Never mind.
Anyway, holiday tales!!
On the way to Yorkland, we ate a lot of Midget Gems (I've grown a slight attachment to them now), stared at van and lorry drivers (always fun) and had a mad, creepy, yet funnily random moment when me and Chelsea both went "ARRRR we nearly there yet?!" Just completely out of the blue. With nothing to remind us of pirates or anything. Scary bananas. That night, we went to the pub. We also started an emo count for each day, and that Friday it was just one lmao.
Then Saturday, the emo count went up to 4. We also went to Scarborough and went in the sea, and went in an emo shop, a goth shop and a costume shop. Lmao. We also went for a sail on a pirate ship, that was definately my highlight of Yorkland. Erm... Me and Chelsea also explored the village, found a stream, which I stupidly went in, and it was freezing, and it had leech-like things in, I swear. We went to the pub again, but had a meal this time. Yummmmm, curry... Oh yes, and after Chelsea came out of the shower that night, she started laughing, just like, randomly, and she couldn't stop, and I was like "wtf?" and she couldn't tell me 'cause she was laughing too much, so I was like "this had better be funny", and it completely wasn't. Once she'd stopped laughing (a tad, anyway) she goes "I was thinking about... When I... When... I... SNEEZED IN THE SHOWER!!!” It was so not funny, that it was hilarious. We laughed ourselves silly.
On Sunday, the emo count went up to 4 and a half. If I remember rightly, we went and met Matt, Chelsea's boyfriend. They make such a cute couple, even if he is 11 years older than her. He's lobely. He gave me a cuddle as well. We had to be careful though, because if Chelsea's parents found out we were meeting him, they would have killed us. Probably her more than me, but still. So, the story we told them, to get away from them was that we were "going for a walk, to explore" (yes, again, and in the pouring rain *raises eyebrow*). In the end, it was raining too much, and Chelsea was all wet, so we went for a drive in Matt's van (including Matt, not just me and Chelsea lmao), and we ended up back in Scarborough lol. After we got back to our cottage and Matthew had left us, Chelsea went to sleep, and her laptop was low on battery, so I went over to beside her bed, and tried to plug the charger into the laptop, and she HIT ME ON THE HEAD! She was still completely asleep, but hit me on the head. How rude.
Then Monday, emo count was 5... And we went to Pickering, where Harry Potter was filmed, in the first film wethinks. And we went on a steam train!! And we sat in a compartment!! I really felt like we were off to Hogwarts LMAO. And we went to a castle... Yeah.
Tuesday, we didn't do the emo count, Chelsea seemed very pissed off about everything... We went to Filey, on the beach again, but we only stayed there for a couple of hours or so, but I did buy a fuckload of Jelly Tots. I want some now (yeah, I still have some left over, amazingly *laughs*). Then we went to Eden Camp (which was in Malton - this point will become relevant soon), which is like a war museum thingy, with lots of huts and different things in each hut. It was quite interesting. I liked the Blitz one best. We later found out that Filey, the place we'd visited earlier had flooded and had landslides a couple of hours after we left. Freakiness.
Then Wednesday, I doubt the emo count went up, because me and Chelsea stayed at the cottage all day, y'know, just to have a lazy day and relax. All seemed good again.
Thursday... We went to Leeds. Emo count went off the scale. It was our shopping day. Seriously, I own all of the Georgia Nicolson books now, so I was very happy. And we went to the Corn Exchange (It's a shopping mall type thing), and it was FULL of emo shops!! I was in my element!! I bought some awesome badges, an emo top, an emo bangle, ect, etc. We bought lots of other stuff too. Then Chelsea's Dad phone me went we were in a shop, and asked us to get a taxi to the Armoury Museum. We were asking people for directions to taxis lmao, an in the end, Chelsea phoned Matt and he gave us directions. I had to ask the bloke in the taxi if we could go to the museum though. It only took like, 5 minutes to get there. Only cost £4.00 as well. Not bad. I really liked the Japanese and Chinese armour stuff, it was awesome.
Later on that night, Chelsea's Mum and Dad were watching the news, and you know I mentioned Malton?? Well, it was 13 miles away from us, and a tornado had stuck there. I don't think it did much damage though. I think we also went for a meal. It was VERY nice. I approve of their Chocolate Fudge Cake. It had ice cream, strawberries and cries and chocolate sauce all around. Me and Chelsea lobed it.
Then it was Friday, and the day we came back. As we were going down the motorway, I spotted a lorry with the logo "Bison" on it. Which is what Matt's van has on it, so it was from the same company he works for. I hit Chelsea repeatedly and pointed to it, and oh how we laughed lmao.
There was also the time when I was sleeptalking. I didn't know I sleeptalked lmfao. I was apparently going "I need to go to the kitchen" and then I apparently just randomly went "KITCHEENNN!". I also made weird snuffling noises at one point as well. I make me laugh.
So, yes, there were a lot of quotes as well... But I can't remember them now, I'll ask Chelsea to send them to me sometime. Actually... *Checks email*. No, she hasn't sent them to me, I found a very important email from my chum Ben though, about my next-door-neighbour's (who is his Nan) dog. It's all sorted now though.
Apparently there's a risk of the Thames flooding London. And Mum has seen that the bridges down Pershore are both intact. Who's the prat that made up they'd gone?
Well, I must scoot. I'm kinda pissed off now, because I was HOPING to finally watch some anime, but apparently not. My Mum just told me to turn off the sound. So that means no music or anime. And I still don't have any fucking headphones. I'm losing it. Argh!! Tatty bye!!
