This has basically turned into a place for me to post some of my poetry. Let me know if you think any of them would fit an anime character and I'll use it in a wallpaper.
I've created a place to hold the anime and manga icons that I create. Feel free to use them, but please let me know which ones you like in particular so I know what styles to make more of.

I'm alive?
So I kinda forgot this place existed. College has taken over my life for the past couple years... But since I've remembered and I have a little time, perhaps I'll do a submission or two before classes start again. Though since my monitor is now widescreen, it'll be interesting. And no one probably remembers me anymore.
Back to the life of an adult for now...

The Demise of Man
Black cloth rests against granite
The warning of what lies inside
A joyous somber occasion
Yet another has died
Weeping by the closed coffin
Betrays the messenger of death
A powerful being called Plague
Has laid another to rest
But Weeping does not grieve alone
Joy comes to pay her respects as well
She hides her face to smile secretly
For it is not one of her own that fell
Both Weeping and Joy will soon lose
In Plague’s dangerous game
For death finds all men
And all will rot the same

Reality Check
I just wrote this tonight, so it's still a rough draft. Not nearly as dark as most of my stuff, but still not happy.
County school prom queen
Perfect at everything
Cheerleading captain
Valedictorian
Then graduation
She left her castle of dreams
To head to the big city
Now she’s a nobody
At work she’s “Blondie”
Everywhere else she’s nothing
Each night she removes her apron
Like trying to remove her shame
She can’t return home like this
Not to the mockery
So each day she saves change
To one day buy a façade
Then she’ll stop by home
The heroine once again
