Bongos? Ohh, I get it.. (I think)
I wish a decent birthday to my miserable friend, Taku. He's turning 18 today. Unfortunately, his life isn't at it's best at the moment, so I hope he enjoys what he can. We should play Risk soon.
I had the strangest conversation with one of the cutest girls I know, Krystle. She's a year younger and she thinks nonsense like I do. The only difference is she's the happy-go-lucky 100% type of girl. She has such a cute smile. We were chatting about whatever topic entered our head at that instant, like instruments, horoscopes, wacky songs that we can't get out of our head, etc. I told her about my thought of serenading a girl with a drumset. She smiled and said that personally, she wouldn't mind it if I played bongos outside her house. At first I thought bongos suck. Then it hit me. Could she be giving me a clue? Well, I'm gonna find some bongos just in case. (Uh-oh. I need green tea.)
And nooo, I haven't ditched my dreams of Pixie girl. She's floating around in a fantasy somewhere in my mind.
The symphony last night, was simply brilliant. The pianists concerto was impressive as well. Throughout the evening, I kept an eye on the Timpani drummer (emphasis on the drummer bit.) and a celloist who resembled a Hobbit. Every stroke of his cello, he'd bob his round head and fling his Hobbit-like hair all over the place. Heh, what a guy. That wasn't as amusing as the crazy conductor. I fully understand the reasons for his movements but he just looked so jolty during the symphony. He's really into his job. The whole orchestra had such good timing and rhythm, I thought they were programmed. They were all coordinated and synchronized, I simply got lost in the movement.
Before I go, I'll end with my favorite threat.
"Don't make me hug you!"
Heh...
