Adorable
I must say, today was quite interesting.

I took my little sis to the mall to buy her some sandals for the summer. My other sister would've gone with her but she's staying at a friends house. My mom would've taken her but she was busy today with a doctors appointment.

So it was good ol' Big Bro who took her.

I've never gone clothing/shoe shopping with my little sis before so it was quite the experience.

We first went to the foodcourt for something to eat. We went to NYFries for some poutine to share (Mmm, healthy). As we waited in line, my little sis saw noticed her classmate behind us, accompanied by her older sister. "Well." I thought, "Isn't this a lovely coincidence."

The kiddies chatted while we introduced ourselves. We then sat at the same table to let the kids chat away while eating. Her name is Tanya and she's a year older than me. She found it adorable that I was taking my little sister shopping. Then she started talking away about something. To be honest with you, I don't remember what she was talking about. I was a bit too mesmerized by her eyes and eye make-up. She used a citrus-y yellow and green for her eye shadow and she had long lashes. It was cool. I simply nodded and smiled and answered whatever she wanted to know about me.

Half an hour passed and my sis finished her food so we were going to be on our way. Tanya and her little sis invited my little sis to come over to their place for a swim in their pool. "You should come too." She said, "We can have a barbeque that day." I've never been a fan of swimming because.. well.. I can't swim. I smiled and said, "Alright. We'll set something up." I lied but whatever. My sis can go on her own. (Heh. I'm mean.) Anyway, we parted and went off to a shoe store.

My sis ran in and took off her flip-flops to try on some sandal. I told her she can choose what she wants as long as it's comfortable. At first, I didn't care what she chose. I mean, whatever colour her sandals were gonna be, it'd most likely go with whatever summer wear she's got. Then I started to really think. I don't know what got over me but I began sorting out various colours and styles to go with what she had in her wardrobe and what activities she'd be doing over the summer. "This one is good for biking and this one is nice for when we go to the beach... etc." One of the employees came over and asked if I needed help. And I did. I mean, I was getting worked up about my little sisters choice of sandals! I started explaining to the girl what my sister does and what she wears and she pretty much sorted the choices of sandals the same way I did. She too thought it was adorable that I took my little sister shopping. I eventually got carried away and brought her three pairs. THREE! For a decent price though. Even so, it's still quite a big deal.

As we walked out, it hit me. What the hell happened? Did I just do that? Part of me wanted to strangle my sis when she grinned at me and said "Thanks for the sandals. I hope mom likes them."

But now I fully understand why girls take so much damn time in stores. It's all making sense now!

I don't know what I'm on.. But I'm starting to really look forward to Friday when I get to shop for myself.

Anyway. It's 4:09am and I'm working tomorrow so it's time to crash. Have a nice day!

Cheers.
