   How strange....
Human nature never fails to amaze me. A picture that is honestly not that great in my eyes is rated up just to prove me wrong. Perhaps it is the fact that the younger people that frequent this site are more easily swayed by this whole "putting yourself down" thing. In fact, a lot of my comments come from those that say "I could never do something like this" or "You're so much better than me" or "I'm such a crappy artist."

That's bullshit. Everyone has the potential to be as good as me and better. If I stopped trying to draw just because I believed that I wasn't any good, I'd never improve. People shouldn't seek to put others down for their shortcomings, if you see them that way; help others improve. Critiquing is the greatest gift you can give to an artist (But praise does help boost the ego!)

I suppose the whole voting up could be because of that guy that went through all my pictures and voted them down. it was like: Hrmm all my pictures are at 100% 5 seconds later you hit refresh and poof! 71%... 80% 68% ... that's not obvious at all!

This whole practice of downgrading people's art like that baffles me. You're supposed to judge picture by picture not "Oh, this person SHOULDN'T have this high of a rating so I'm gonna make sure that they don't"

Feh. Such immaturity. I sincerely hope that none of you will ever do such a thing, even if you have been the victim of it.
