Hi!
Enos 1
2 And I will tell you of the wrestle which I had before God, before I received a remission of my sins.
3 Behold, I went to hunt beasts in the forests; and the words which I had often heard my father speak concerning eternal life, and the joy of the saints, sunk deep into my heart.
4 And my soul hungered; and I kneeled down before my Maker, and I cried unto him in mighty prayer and supplication for mine own soul; and all the day long did I cry unto him; yea, and when the night came I did still raise my voice high that it reached the heavens.
5 And there came a voice unto me, saying: Enos, thy sins are forgiven thee, and thou shalt be blessed.
6 And I, Enos, knew that God could not lie; wherefore, my guilt was swept away.
7 And I said: Lord, how is it done?
8 And he said unto me: Because of thy faith in Christ, whom thou hast never before heard nor seen. And many years pass away before he shall manifest himself in the flesh; wherefore, go to, thy faith hath made thee whole.
9 Now, it came to pass that when I had heard these words I began to feel a desire for the welfare of my brethren, the Nephites; wherefore, I did pour out my whole soul unto God for them.
Doctrine & Covenants 93
20 For if you keep my commandments you shall receive of his fulness, and be glorified in me as I am in the Father; therefore, I say unto you, you shall receive grace for grace.
21 And now, verily I say unto you, I was in the beginning with the Father, and am the Firstborn;
22 And all those who are begotten through me are partakers of the glory of the same, and are the church of the Firstborn.
23 Ye were also in the beginning with the Father; that which is Spirit, even the Spirit of truth;
24 And truth is knowledge of things as they are, and as they were, and as they are to come;
25 And whatsoever is more or less than this is the spirit of that wicked one who was a liar from the beginning.
26 The Spirit of truth is of God. I am the Spirit of truth, and John bore record of me, saying: He received a fulness of truth, yea, even of all truth;
27 And no man receiveth a fulness unless he keepeth his commandments.
28 He that keepeth his commandments receiveth truth and light, until he is glorified in truth and knoweth all things.
29 Man was also in the beginning with God. Intelligence, or the light of truth, was not created or made, neither indeed can be.
30 All truth is independent in that sphere in which God has placed it, to act for itself, as all intelligence also; otherwise there is no existence.
31 Behold, here is the agency of man, and here is the condemnation of man; because that which was from the beginning is plainly manifest unto them, and they receive not the light.
[...]
33 For man is spirit. The elements are eternal, and spirit and element, inseparably connected, receive a fulness of joy;
34 And when separated, man cannot receive a fulness of joy.
35 The elements are the tabernacle of God; yea, man is the tabernacle of God, even temples; and whatsoever temple is defiled, God shall destroy that temple.
36 The glory of God is intelligence, or, in other words, light and truth.

I am working on the masquerade, and I will let you know when it's ready. ^_^ Okay, guys? Hugs!
God be with you. Love and hugs and pocket-hugs.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Fact of the day: Did you know that Equus doesn't know everything? ^.~ Sorry, I'm having trouble thinking of a fact. That's pretty common, actually. Okay...Horses will dig through snow to get at grass, but cows won't. Or at least aren't as likely to.
I hope I got that right. ^^;
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Hugs! And God and Jesus Christ be with you.
Isaiah 53--tomorrow! Hope you like the scriptures today. They're good ones, I think.

Hi!
Well, I'm working on a button for my masquerade. That way...^^'
*Equus wishes to say that she would greatly appreciate it if her friends would help by advertising the masquerade, since she doesn't get many visitors herself. Arigato.*
Yes! Thank you, Xihuitl. I'll post the button and link soon, for anyone who wishes to participate. And, ahead of time, arigato. (bows)
Clue of the day:
Whilst Equus examined the damage to the flowers, she found something else. Under the lily plants, there were multiple individual depressions in the ground, each one with hoofprints leading to and from it. They were right where the shade would fall during the day. And there were fine cuts in the leaves above, just a few inches off the ground.
Last of all, she found a tiny, cobweb-fine hair, bright green in color, lying in one depression.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Fact of the day:
The heraldic lion, which we so often associate with England and Richard the Lion-heart, was also the herald of Scotland. The lion rampant (I think) was Scotland's--a lion standing on its hindlegs, red on a yellow or gold field. Richard's lion was along the England type of heraldic lion. The unicorn came in as Scotland's symbol later on.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Scripture of the day:
Isaiah 53
4 ¶ Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows[...]
5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.
[...]
10 ¶ Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him[...]
when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin [...] he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.
11 [...] by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.
12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong[...] he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors. [Us!]
Jesus Christ and God did this for love of us.
LOVE to all, from all!

Hi-za for the day!
Luke 22:42-43, Matthew 26:42
Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.
And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.
[&]
He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done.
If Jesus could willingly endure all that, out of love for for Heavenly Father and us, what can we do for love of Heavenly Father and each other?
Love is of God, and all good things are from God. So Love is good. ^_^
Hugs! Glomps! And pocket hugs for whenever you need a hug.
God be with you all.

Mystery clue...
Equus is typing away at her keyboard, working on her MyO post, when she hears Xihuitl neighing frantically in the other room. She runs into the next room. Xihuitl is standing at one of the large bay windows that overlook the garden.
Xihuitl: Look! Just look at your roses! And the daisies, and the lilacs! And even the dandelions!
Equus: Oh, great, we have bugs eating the roses. Hmph.
Xihuitl: We never get bugs like this! Something funny's going on, Equus. Those aren't bugs!
Equus: Well, let's see. I can always spray them, but then I'd have to wash that bug-away stuff off of me, and--
Xihuitl: Equus. Look closely at the ground. Bugs don't leave hoofprints.
Equus: You're right. Hey, those are the same tracks from the garden.
Xihuitl: Great. We have miniature deer eating our plants, and my hay!
Hint--The mystery creatures are not miniature deer. ^.~ Happy hunting! Don't worry about Xihuitl. She won't stay mad. It's more of an immediate reaction thingy.... ^_^ She doesn't stay mad long, anyway, which is good. Love!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Fact of the day: Some things in the English language have radically changed. For example, when you read "by and by" in the King James Version of the Bible, it actually means "immediately".
Jesus Christ taught great love, partly by example, from himself and from others. Love Him, God, and others. Sometimes it's hard, but all good things take effort.
Love each other, as Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love you!
May God's Spirit be with you.
Remember...
Sometimes it's easy to forget, but we are here to be personally tested, to see if we will do what's right.
Genesis 6:22
Thus did Noah; according to all that God ccommanded him, so did he.
Genesis 22:18
And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.
Exodus 19:5-6, 8
Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:
And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.
[...]
And all the people answered together, and said, All that the LORD hath spoken we will do. And Moses returned the words of the people unto the LORD.
Exodus 24:7, 10, 12, 15-16
And he took the book of the covenant, and bread in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the LORD hath said will we do, and be obedient.
[...]
And they saw the God of Israel: and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in his clearness.
[...]
And the LORD said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give thee tables of stone, and a law, and commandments which I have written; that thou mayest teach them.
[...]
And Moses went up into the mount, and a cloud covered the mount.
And the glory of the LORD abode upon mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days: and the seventh day he called unto Moses out of the midst of the cloud.
Remember, our Father in Heaven and the Lord our God, and the Holy Ghost.
Pocket hugs for everyone!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Continuation of the animal mystery....
Xihuitl: All right, this isn't funny. If it isn't stray clones tearing up my field and my woods, it's rats tearing up my hay!
Equus: What are you talking about, Xihuitl?
Xihuitl goes to the barn and points to a large, lovely, golden haystack. At the foot of it, the hay is scattered. Equus examines some pieces. The dried grass stalks have been nibbled on, but not eaten.
Xihuitl: That is disgusting! Not to mention insulting. This is perfectly good hay.
Equus: Well, hopefully they won't come back for more, if they didn't like it.
Xihuitl: True, except the little monsters did eat the alfalfa and clover pieces.
Equus examines the hay again. In the affected area, all alfalfa and clover are gone.
Equus: Hm...you're right....
Love to y'all! Glomp!

Fact of the day: In the Middle Ages, the common people couldn't read the scriptures. Generally, they couldn't read at all. And I think the scriptures were usually (or always) in Latin. We have a great blessing today to have God's holy word available to us all to read and study and pray about and think on.
God be with you.

Guess what?
Guess what........
*Yep. Equus was quite thrilled at seeing the number of visits. THank you all who have helped, including Equus.*
^^;
*Okay, time for the scripture of the day.*
Isaiah 53
1 WHO hath believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?
[...]
4 ¶ Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
[...]
10 ¶ Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.
11 [...] by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.
12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
No greater love hath man than to die for his fellow man. And the Lord died for us all. And He lives again.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
-Equus.-
Yeah, K-C?
-I thought you might want to see this.-
(Equus follows Kyo-clone into the garden. He points to something under the basil plants.)
They're back!
-You know what they are?-
No, but I've seen these print before!
->.> Should we try to find out?-
Well...I think we should be careful. What do you guys think they are? Here's a pocket-hug packet, a fact of the day, and an incentive. If you help us figure out this hoofprint mystery, you are eligible to receive a prize.
*Love you all, and God does, too.*

Fact of the day: The moon's "face" is always facing us, even as the moon is orbiting the earth. So each of the moon's days are equal to about twenty-eight of our days, the time it takes the moon to go from new to full and back again. Like the sun, the moon's daily "orbit" is partly due to the earth's rotation.
*Whoo. That one was long. Enjoy learning! And remember...*
Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love you. May the Holy Ghost be with you. They will help you to be strong! Do it! ^_^ Love and hugs.

Announcement and Spiritual Thoughts
The Sanctity of the Body, by Susan W. Tanner, Young Women General President
[...]Oh, how I pray that all men and women will seek the beauty praised by the prophet—beauty of body, mind, and spirit!
[...]
These sacred bodies, for which we are so grateful, suffer from natural limitations. Some people are born with disabilities, and some suffer the pains of disease throughout their lives. All of us as we age experience our bodies gradually beginning to fail. When this happens, we long for the day when our bodies will be healed and whole. We look forward to the Resurrection that Jesus Christ made possible, when "the soul shall be restored to the body, and the body to the soul; yea, and every limb and joint shall be restored to its body; yea, even a hair of the head shall not be lost; but all things shall be restored to their proper and perfect frame" (Alma 40:23). I know that through Christ we can experience a fulness of joy that is available only when spirit and element are inseparably connected (see D&C 93:33).
Our bodies are our temples. We are not less but more like Heavenly Father because we are embodied. I testify that we are His children, made in His image, with the potential to become like Him. Let us treat this divine gift of the body with great care. Someday, if we are worthy, we shall receive a perfected, glorious body—pure and clean like my new little granddaughter, only inseparably bound to the spirit. And we shall shout for joy (see Job 38:7) to receive this gift again for which we have longed (see D&C 138:50). May we respect the sanctity of the body during mortality so that the Lord may sanctify and exalt it for eternity. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

D&C 121: 45
Let thy bowels also be full of charity towards all men, and to the household of faith, and let virtue garnish thy thoughts unceasingly; then shall thy confidence wax strong in the presence of God; and the doctrine of the priesthood shall distil upon thy soul as the dews from heaven.

Fact of the day: Horses and cows are (generally speaking) herd animals and thus very social. If they do not have members of their own species to befriend (or even if they do) they will make friends with others. We have a cow who tolerates living with the other cows, but is our friend having been raised by us away from the cows. She didn't even know what cows were when she first saw them. ^_^

First Presidency Message, Joseph Smith Jr.—Prophet of God, Mighty Servant
By President Gordon B. Hinckley
Ensign, December 2005
We do not worship the Prophet [Joseph Smith]. We worship God our Eternal Father and the risen Lord Jesus Christ. But we acknowledge the Prophet; we proclaim him; we respect him; we reverence him as an instrument in the hands of the Almighty in restoring to the earth the ancient truths of the divine gospel, together with the priesthood through which the authority of God is exercised in the affairs of His Church and for the blessing of His people.
LOVE! And God the Eternal Father, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit be with you. (We are eternal spirits, and will be eternal, too.)

Hello, friends and guests.
Thank you for your comments, friends. Jesus Christ is the reason for the season! (Thanks, Refi-chan.)
Spiritual note:
God and Jesus Christ made this earth for the express purpose of bringing men to salvation, eternal life, and immortality. Eternal life--to be like heavenly Father, like God. For the child grows into an adult, and we are children of God, and He and Jesus Christ, our Messiah, love us.
Merry Christmas.

Xihuitl just told me she thinks she saw the missing clones (see Refi's, Tiggerola's, last post) this morning. Hm...maybe we'll have to go looking for them. Kyo-clone, and--oops. I almost gave it away.
Well, we'll look for the clones.
*I think they've moved on, but it looked like the Kurama-clone was following the Hiei-clone, towards someone else's property. I don't know whose, though. They headed east.*
Weird....Well, talk to you guys later. I can't stay up late...and I have to work on Christmas pics for friends tomorrow. ^/^ Yes, most of my Christmas cards aren't even done, much less sent. I'll share some of my pics, maybe, after they're done.
Hugs, and love, all!
-Here are your pocket hugs. Have a good day.-
*Love from us, and from God, our Heavenly Father, above. Jesus Christ came for us, to live, die, and live again for us, because He loves us. Remember that!*

I challenge you to read these for the new year.
Moroni 10
3 Behold, I would exhort you that when ye shall read these things [...] that ye would remember how merciful the Lord hath been unto the children of men [...] and ponder it in your hearts.
4 And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a sincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost.
5 And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things.
6 And whatsoever thing is good is just and true; wherefore, nothing that is good denieth the Christ, but acknowledgeth that he is.
32 Yea, come unto Christ, and be perfected in him, and deny yourselves of all ungodliness; and if ye shall deny yourselves of all ungodliness, and love God with all your might, mind and strength, then is his grace sufficient for you, that by his grace ye may be perfect in Christ; and if by the grace of God ye are perfect in Christ, ye can in nowise deny the power of God.
33 And again, if ye by the grace of God are perfect in Christ, and deny not his power, then are ye sanctified in Christ by the grace of God, through the shedding of the blood of Christ, which is in the covenant of the Father unto the remission of your sins, that ye become holy, without spot.

Moroni 9
22 But behold, my son, I recommend thee unto God, and I trust in Christ that thou wilt be saved[...]
25 My son, be faithful in Christ; and may not the things which I have written grieve thee, to weigh thee down unto death; but may Christ lift thee up, and may his sufferings and death, and the showing his body unto our fathers, and his mercy and long-suffering, and the hope of his glory and of eternal life, rest in your mind forever.
26 And may the grace of God the Father, whose throne is high in the heavens, and our Lord Jesus Christ, who sitteth on the aright hand of his power, until all things shall become subject unto him, be, and abide with you forever. Amen.

THREE WITNESSES
Be it known unto all nations, kindreds, tongues, and people, unto whom this work shall come: That we, through the grace of God the Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ, have seen the plates which contain this record, which is a record of the people of Nephi, and also of the Lamanites, their brethren, and also of the people of Jared, who came from the tower of which hath been spoken. And we also know that they have been translated by the gift and power of God, for his voice hath declared it unto us; wherefore we know of a surety that the work is true. And we also testify that we have seen the engravings which are upon the plates; and they have been shown unto us by the power of God, and not of man. And we declare with words of soberness, that an angel of God came down from heaven, and he brought and laid before our eyes, that we beheld and saw the plates, and the engravings thereon; and we know that it is by the grace of God the Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ, that we beheld and bear record that these things are true. And it is marvelous in our eyes. Nevertheless, the voice of the Lord commanded us that we should bear record of it; wherefore, to be obedient unto the commandments of God, we bear testimony of these things. And we know that if we are faithful in Christ, we shall rid our garments of the blood of all men, and be found spotless before the judgment-seat of Christ, and shall dwell with him eternally in the heavens. And the honor be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Ghost, which is one God. Amen.

Hi!
The Sanctity of the Body, by Susan W. Tanner, Young Women General President
[...]Oh, how I pray that all men and women will seek the beauty praised by the prophet—beauty of body, mind, and spirit!
The restored gospel teaches that there is an intimate link between body, mind, and spirit. In the Word of Wisdom, for example, the spiritual and physical are intertwined. When we follow the Lord's law of health for our bodies, we are also promised wisdom to our spirits and knowledge to our minds (see D&C 89:19–21). The spiritual and physical truly are linked.
I remember an incident in my home growing up when my mother's sensitive spirit was affected by a physical indulgence. She had experimented with a new sweet roll recipe. They were big and rich and yummy—and very filling. Even my teenage brothers couldn't eat more than one. That night at family prayer my father called upon Mom to pray. She buried her head and didn't respond. He gently prodded her, "Is something wrong?" Finally she said, "I don't feel very spiritual tonight. I just ate three of those rich sweet rolls." I suppose that many of us have similarly offended our spirits at times by physical indulgences. Especially substances forbidden in the Word of Wisdom have a harmful effect on our bodies and a numbing influence on our spiritual sensitivities. None of us can ignore this connection of our spirits and bodies.

While the pure in heart, and the wise, and the noble, and the virtuous, shall seek counsel, and authority, and blessings constantly from under thy hand.

Fact of the day: English is supposedly a Germanic language, though it has borrowed heavily from other languages like Latin. And its grammar rules, I've been taught, are based on Latin.
