   Valentine's Day / SAD
Hi! This is a multiple post, just so ya know, dedicated to Valentine's Day and Single Awareness Day. ^.^

*Yep. So we hope you enjoy the post. First we'd like to make a note, then dedicate the Valentine's Day portion to some wonderful couples.*

You can find someone to love, who will truly love you, and to inspire each other to be the best people you can be.

Couples that I know.
- Couple #1. They often disagree and sometimes argue and get mad, but more often they are not angry at each other. They love each other and, as I learned of more and more separated couples as I grew up, it was nice to know that I knew a couple that were (and still are) together. This isn't to upset anyone whose parents are divorced. Sometimes a divorce is even for the better. But please know that there is true love and happiness and joy out there.
- Couple #2. They had some real hard times, but they have worked to get through problems and are happier now. I'm not saying it wouldn't have been better not to have such problems, but they made it through. ^.^
- Couple #3. I'm not a proponent of meet, date, get married. But for these two, it worked. Such a loving couple, even if they aren't perfect. But hey, they're human, as are we all.
- Couple #4. My friend finally got her cowboy. After two failed engagements (which I think she broke off due to troubles in them), she is happily engaged for the final time to a man who finally opened his eyes to the wonderful woman who was there. Congrats to them. They're getting married in a little less than two months!
And some fictional couples.
- Huma and the silver dragon. I'll admit, the different species thing is odd. But even with troubles like the dragon's secret (that she was a dragon) they were able to make it through. Of course, it's a tragic ending. They die saving the world. (The Legend of Huma)
- Sam and Rosie. Cute! And it shows that love is possible. (The Lord of the Rings)
- Eowyn and Faramir. They deserve happiness. I do like Aragorn and Arwen, too. (The Lord of the Rings)
- Duo and Hilde. I like both of the characters, and they're just a cute couple. (Gundam Wing)
- Kenshin and Kagome. They deserve happiness. (Rurouni Kenshin)
- Alex and Tea, Refi and Pharoah, Equus and Sanoske. Happiness! (And we're allowed to dream, aren't we?)
- And a couple from my own stories. (shameless, aren't I?)
--Falcon and Verdana. They're perfect for each other!
--Mek and Ulca. She needs him, what can I say? And she is a loyal and protective friend, much less girlfriend.

^.^ That'll do. Please tell us about couples you like, real or fictional. (But please, no slash.)

And for SAD....

I am still moping some about the break-up between my boyfriend and me. He realized that I wasn't the girl for him, and I hadn't wanted to accept the idea that he wasn't the right guy for me. Oh, well. Thanks to my friends (including my ex-boyfriend) for their support. And he has still been my friend. ^.^

Meanwhile, the stalking of "the punk" has begun. I was going to stalk him today, but even though I do like him, I decided that a Valentine's Day stalk might not be the best idea.

But have hope, people. "True happiness is being married to your best friend." True love is deep, meaningful, and more than just a hug or a kiss. It is a friendship.

Last of all, may I dedicate this portion to One whose love never dies.

God loves us so much that He sent His Son Jesus Christ, and Jesus Christ loves us so much that He died so we could live with Him and Heavenly Father again, if we accept Them. And They love us enough to allow us to choose which way we want to go, and even to allow us to make the wrong choices, to feel sorrow so that we may also know and appreciate happiness, and to learn from our and other's mistakes.

*Love and friend hugs to everyone.*

*Happy Valentine's Day and SAD! Remember, there are always people who love you, even if it's not romantic. (hugs)*

Lord make me an instrument of Thy peace; where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; and where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled, as to console; to be understood, as to understand; to be loved, as to love; for it is in giving that we receive; it is in pardoning that we are pardoned and it is in dying, that we are born to eternal life.

~Francis of Assisi

(actually a Catholic saint, but I think they were probably neat people--especially him, since he was the Saint of Animals...or something along those lines...and I love animals!)
