Alma 26:11-12

But Ammon said unto him: I do not boast in my own strength, nor in my own wisdom; but behold, my joy is full, yea, my heart is brim with joy, and I will rejoice in my God.

Yea, I know that I am nothing; as to my strength I am weak; therefore I will not boast of myself, but I will boast of my God, for in his strength I can do all things; yea, behold, many mighty miracles we have wrought in this land, for which we will praise his name forever.

That's just a good quote to remember. We have so little ability and power of our own, but in God, we can do all things. He is the source, the giver, of all that is good, including talents that we must use well and friends that help us.

Les Miserables involves many wonderful, and not so wonderful, characters. Jean Valjean, "a convict from the chain-gang" and a spiritually redeemed, merciful man. His enemy, Javert, obsessed with justice to the absense of mercy. Cossette, Valjean's ward. Eponine, the daughter of cons who rises above her surroundings. Marius, Fantine, the threatening Thernardiers, and the ever-kind and faithful Bishop.

I'll write mroe later, if you guys want me to. Ta-ta, take care in reality and cyber-space. Remember, another "world" is only any good with this world as well. Otherwise, we lose ourselves and some very important things.

And also remember, Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love you. Take care! Help your fellow man! (And I'll try harder to help mine, too!)

Fact of the day: Mixed dogs are great. They are said to show a hardier constitution than purebreds. When two different dog breeds are crossed, the puppies can have what's called "hybrid vigor". It depends on the quality of the breeding, of the mixed dogs and the purebreds.
