I'm baaaaack!
Okay, so I wasn't gone thaaat long. But I'm back. ^_^ I read my scriptures just now. Christ is the way and the life, our door to eternal life through His Atonement and law.

Isaiah 55

Isn't it wondrous and good?

"It is both the duty and privilege of the Latter-day Saints to know that their religion is true.
"Let every one get a knowledge for himself that this work is true. We do not want you to say that it is true until you know that it is; and if you know it, that knowledge is as good to you as though the Lord came down and told you.
"It is a special privilege and blessing of the holy Gospel to every true believer, to know the truth for himself."

"Because faith is wanting, the fruits are. No man since the world was had faith without having something along with it. The ancients quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, women received their dead, &c. By faith the worlds were made. A man who has none of the gifts has no faith; and he deceives himself, if he supposes he has. Faith has been wanting, not only among the heathen, but in professed Christendom also, so that tongues, healings, prophecy, and prophets and apostles, and all the gifts and blessings have been wanting."

Remember, that warning is only for when there is no faith. When we have faith in God, He will give us blessings. Not always grandiose, perhaps, but the blessings we need--and monumental in our lives, even something as "simple" as His guidance. In my Lord Jesus Christ's holy name, amen. Love and faith.

Equus: Jing has warmed up to me (at least a lot) and is warming up to Dad. Mom's his favorite person, probably. She feeds him most of the time. He is so cute, and he's smart. ^_^

Fact of the day: It's interesting to note the difference between European and Asian lore. Okay, I don't know much about it, and I know I have talked about this before, but here goes.

European dragons are evil. European unicorns are good creatures (at least for a while in the Middle Ages) but still wild.

Chinese dragons and unicorns are benevolent. The unicorns (ki-lin?) are so gentle they won't even step on grass.

Japanese dragons are evil.
