   Fall is in the air.
3 Nephi 7: 20-21
And the people saw it, and did witness of it, and were angry with him because of his power; and he did also do many more miracles, in the sight of the people, in the name of Jesus.
And it came to pass that the thirty and first year did pass away, and there were but few who were converted unto the Lord; but as many as were converted did truly signify unto the people that they had been visited by the power and Spirit of God, which was in Jesus Christ, in whom they believed.

Equus: I got to go to the new super Wal-Mart with my mom today, and I got some hair dye for my Halloween costume.

Xihuitl: And we got some food for a man who was begging for food. I know that there are places people can go for help, too--but when he thanked her, it was a good feeling.

Equus: "Inasmuch as ye do it unto one of these, your brethren, ye have done it unto me." Thus said the Lord. There are other ways to help, too. But for this time, it was what was right.

Xihuitl: And she put out her lightning globe this evening. It's in the front window.

Equus: It's so pretty. ^_^ And we have new neighbors! They move in on Monday, they belong to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, they are town people who want to live in the country, and I've already gotten to spend a bit of time with the kids.

Xihuitl: She's older than any of them, but they seem to get along well enough.

Fact of the day: Scottish clans would have different types of tartans, such as their normal tartan and a hunting tartan, a more subdued or darker version of the regular tartan.

And since I think I've already shared that one, here's another one. Sugar maple leaves tend to turn bright red or yellow in the fall. Red maples tend to turn red.

"Do we look to the scriptures as a source of great spiritual power? If not, we are missing a wonderful opportunity for spiritual nourishment and strength."
