So overall, the design for “The Grudge” film shows the viewer that this film is not going to be a particularly pleasant one and not one that would guarantee a good nights sleep after watching it. A way of demonstrating how effective the original poster for this movie is showing its parody, a poster advertising “Scary Movie 4”. The parody, much like the original depicts very little face mostly covered with hair, but to add comedic effect the panicked girl has been replaced by a blow-up doll. This shows the general feel of this movie and that it is in a completely different genre from “The Grudge” itself. This posters mere existence is a trophy of triumph for “The Grudge” and its poster design. The fact that a spoof of the poster has been created is a credit to how effective it is because making a parody of a poster involves taking one that is well known by many people and is particularly effective in depicting what the movie consists of in few words and in the most visually impressive way as possible. So, Shoolery Design has managed to create one of many captivating images which are seen al round the world and enjoyed by many.

Ho'Shat!

God it's been ages! Sorry I haven't been on in a while Was on holiday. With no internet connection. Damn how I missed the internet xD Anyhoo! My holiday, yes. I went to Nottingham, which, in case you don't know, is located in England in the UK! O: Yup, tis crazy. Some people thought of all places to go on holiday that would be a stupid place but I actually REALLY enjoyed myself^^; (though the fact that my hometown is such a MASSIVE shithole it makes EVERYWHERE look so much better) The people in Nottingham are so much nicer too! People just came up to me and my friend, Rachy, and started talking to us! Which is completely new to me and Rach 'cause if someone comes up to you in our town they're probably going to kill you :] . There was so much drama that happened in just two weeks! There were relationships, cheating, gay pride festivals(much fun was had there), and parties! But the REALLY annoying thing is that we only started to get to know these REALLY awesome guys when we were on the last two days of our holidays. I really liked one of them and aparently he really liked me back but nothing happened -sadness- and now I'm back home and I really miss them :c Haha, I've been back for two days and I aready miss Nottingham and my friends there. And I must say, work sucks like hell! D< That's me and Steve. He ish one of teh guys me and Rach wish we met earlier.(And yes, that isn't the best photo but I don't care =D) And that's Kyle and Rach! (I know it's a crummy pic but it's the best one I have with them together and yes! I own that Domo-kun plushie! =D ) Well that it for now... Hai! -waves frantically!- I'm back! On my very own anime covered laptop with crappy AOL broadband<3 I missed the internet<|3 Well in a nutshell the past week has been crazy! I auditioned for teh next Harry Potter film. I didn't get in -sadness- BURT my bestest friend, Iain and mah cousin Amy got in so I ish happy for them^^ And I swear they're paying for the drinks next time, especially when they're getting paid £100 (roughly $150 methinks)per day they're on the set! -uberjealous- But I still got to go to Kelvingrove art gallery in Glasgow x3<333 It was friggin' sweet! I've been after to go there for months and I finally got to go! =D Especially when I heard that they got teh Salvador Dali's painting, "Christ of St John of the Cross" after teh gallerys refirbishment. I know, I know you must be thinking I'm uber sad for getting so excited about a painting but that's who I am. As my parents lovingly described me as "The culture vulture" of the family^^;; I got Hot Fuzz on dvd, planning on watching that tonight. I love that film so much. It was that film that caused me to discover how awesome popcorn and nacho cheese was! xD<3 After that fun filled few days teh rest was filled with work.Ghey. BUT tommorrow is "Activities Day" at school. I don't know what it is but I don't like it. They say they're trying to get the "not so sporty kids" involved! But us non-sporty kids loved sports day! It was the one day of the year where we had an excuse to stay at home, play video games and eat junk food all day! D; THEY TOOK THAT AWAY FROM US! -cries- Lmao, love being over-dramatic<3 I feel I've barely even touched what has happened lately but I don't want to make your eyes bleed by makking you read so much crap!^-^; So I shall leave you guys here and hope you have a wonderful day!

RAWR!

Hai! Firstly, I wanna' say I uberly want to make a new theme burt I can't think of what to base it on, SO I'm asking joo guys to give me some suggestions please. I keep drawing up blanks -.-" As fer teh weekend? Tis been rather interesting actually. I got this awesome girls number. Her name is Saimya and she's from America somewhere(I don't know exactly where yet as I have not deciphered her handwriting yet^^;;) and I met her at work as her mother started questioning me (i.e Asking my name, age, grade(which I don't know tbh xD)) and then she brought up that she had a daughter the same age as me and she brought her up to come talk to me and we hit it off! And I must say she is the most adorable person ever =^.^= Other than that my weekend was shit. Filled with homework, a complaining cousin and standing outside of a bus stop for forty minutes in the pissing rain because the van driver was too lazy to get out of bed and pick me up for work! D< (I made such a scene when I found him the next day. Screaming and shouting at him infront of a couple of hundred BMXers xD) BlackDaze: Woo! We're just that awesome! B] Simple Plan Lover: T'was indeed hectic. Exams lesuck. And teh stalker thing was just about an obsessed ex that wouldn't leave me alone! He decided that dumping me and stalking me was better than going out with me x'D He wus stupid. Squee! Two people remembered me! =D I feel so special! x3 (scary thing is, that wasn't sarcasm c: ) ANYWAY, I feel I've blabbed on long enough for today...plus I still have computing homework to do.    Hullo

|-|3j! Thank you guys SO much for your support ^^<3 I know I disppeared for a while and such and never commented back but now, hopefully, I'm here to stay. :] There are still a few things I need to fix in my life but thanks to you guys I managed to get rid of one huge problem<3 -Huggles- <333 -looks up- Amazing how something can change so quickly. Anyway, normally I'd sit and rant into my journal but unfortunetly it had an accident and I'll have to get a new one which doesn't remind me of how certain people back stabed me, but that'll have to wait till I can be bothered leaving my home to go into town. You can just ignore this post if you have started reading it already. It's just me venting and ranting. Boring really. -Sigh- where do I begin now?. . . Birthday was on Tuesday. Best day ever I swear. I was so happy. I finally got to see my ickle Iain. I missed him so so much<3 and by some sort of weird coincidece we both managed to find our other friends. Spent the whole day in town with them. Made me realise how great my friends were. I do love them all so much. but as soon as the day was over and the minutes rolled past midnight my depression seeped back. I don't even know why I'm so depressed now! I'm fucked up in the head! I have amazing friends that have helped me through so many tough times and put up with me for years, I have a loving family that treat me well and I have an awesome job with fun co-workers and great pay so why am I so depressed?! What is wrong with me? I know how great things in my life are and I show my appriation my crying myself to sleep! Why am I doing this to myself and the people I love? I'm such a bitch.

Damn my world is fucked up. D: I've been goig out with this girl Angie for over a year now and I find out that she's not happy with just me. She needs to go out with her best friend and some guy in Holland. Hundreds of miles from where we bloody well live! >.< I'm sure most of you know what it's like to have someone cheat on you. . . I finally know what a aweful feeling it is. I loved her. I still do. Even though I'm not good enough for her. God! Just thinking about her is making me want to burst into tears. . . the only thing that's stopping me is the comforting words from my best friends Rachael and Iain. I probably wouldn't get through life without them. They've been through almost everything with me. From when my grandparents died to just giving me someone to talk to during class. You guys mean the world to me. I love you more than one could ever think possible. Though you're probably never going to read this I had to let it out. Thanks guys. I'll never forget the times I've spent with you, and I look forward to the future. <3

   Just a stupid History Essay

Was it the Scottish Skill that won the Battle of Stirling Bridge? Para 1: Intro: Set the scene and introduce the reasons. Para 2: Roughly explain what happened and why. Para 3: Write what would’ve and what wouldn’t have happened if the battle took place. Para 4: Describe Wallace’s and Moray’s history and explain why it is relevant to the topic. Para 5: Go on to discuss whether or not it was de Warenne and/or Cressinghams incompetence and/or arrogance that made them lose the battle. Para 6: Conclusion: Sum up main points (no detail; Don’t repeat intro-try to make it different/interesting). Answer the question. Intro: On 11 September, 1297, Wallace achieved victory at the Battle of Stirling Bridge. Although vastly outnumbered, the Scottish forces led by Andrew Moray (a more prominent noble, being a first son) and with Wallace as their captain, routed the English army. The Earl of Surrey's professional army of 300 cavalry and 10,000 infantry met disaster as they crossed over to the north side of the river. The narrowness of the bridge prevented many soldiers from crossing together (possibly as few as three men abreast), so while the English soldiers crossed, the Scots held back until half of them had passed and then killed the English as quickly as they could cross. This battle was due to William Wallace’s rebellion… Para 2: I’ll wing it. Para3: The English Governor of Scotland, John de Warenne, Earl of Surrey, commanded a force of mail-clad cavalry, skilled longbow men from Wales and well- weaponed infantry, in all numbering 60,000, with 8000 in reserve. This was to be Wallace's first experience of a standing battle as against guerrilla and harrying actions. The Stirling Bridge today, thought to be very close to where the original stood. t the critical moment he gave the order and the Scots charged down the slopes to reach the bridgehead and trap a manageable number of the enemy who perished in their thousands, caught between the Scottish spears and the river. If the Battle of Stirling Bridge didn’t take place there wouldn’t be a Battle of Bannockburn due to the Scottish confidence being shot down and the Nobles didn’t like Wallace in the first place. Wallace wouldn’t have been knighted ad there would be no Scottish revollution. There would be no Scotland, just England. Para 4: Sir William Wallace (circa. 1270 – 23 August 1305) was a Scottish knight who led his countrymen in resistance to the English occupation of Edward I, during significant periods of the Wars of Scottish Independence. He inspired the composition of "The Acts and Deeds of Sir William Wallace, Knight of Elderslie" by the minstrel Blind Harry, from which many popular conceptions of Wallace are drawn. Tradition often describes Wallace as "one of the common people," in contrast to his countryman, Robert the Bruce, who came from the upper nobility. More likely, Wallace's family were minor gentry, descending from Richard Wallace the Welshman, a landowner under an early member of the House of Stuart, which later became royal house of Scotland. Moray: Andrew Moray, also called Andrew of Moray (La: Andreas de Moravia), Andrew Murray or simply Moray (d. 1297) Guardian of Scotland, (de facto head of state) during the Second Interregnum of 1296-1306, was a key military and political leader in Scotland during the Scottish Wars of Independence. Wallace and Moray met, and perhaps each took courage from the other's conviction. When Wallace prepared for the English invasion at Stirling, Moray brought an army to join the cause, and some attribute the Scottish victory at the Battle of Stirling Bridge (11 September 1297) to de Moray's tactical skill. Unfortunately, the battle at Stirling Bridge cost Moray his life; an arrow wound he suffered in the fight killed him two months later. Moray's son, also called Andrew, went on to fight for Scottish independence with the same fierce determination shown by his father and grandfather. Para5+6 Shall be done later.
